I don't like Mrs Mayer's recent decisions because they seem to be mistakes:
1) banning telecommuting.
2) buying that boy's worthless but hyped company.
3) buying tumblr for 1.1 billion dollars.

I guess they could generate a lot of money by placing their ads on tumblr blogs, but their ad tech isn't very good; they would be better off putting google ads on those tumblr blogs.

Dear Nairaland Members,

Ikenna351 has decided to step down from his role as the anti-tribalism chief of Nairaland so he can concentrate on the Car Talk section, which is his true passion. He also recommended sexkillz as his replacement. Fortunately, sexkillz was interested in the role, so I have placed him in charge of Nairaland's war against tribalism.

I thank Ikenna351 for fearlessly battling the menace of bigotry, and I also thank Sexkillz for his decision to take over this battle.

I know it's none of my business but it sounds unfair to me. I might be wrong and that's why I want you to explain but it seems to me like you intentionally moved the thread to front-page and also changed the topic so that people could insult her very well. You knew what was going to happen when you moved the thread and changing the topic made it really worse because that was not what the op intended when she opened the thread. The fact that you don't agree with her issue does not mean that you should open her up to insults and condemnation.

As I said, all the above things are based on assumptions and if I'm getting something wrong, i'll like to be corrected.

The moderators will help me to find out whether or not the poster of that thread was offended by the home page feature and title change. If so, we will apologise and re-examine our home page posting procedures to ensure that we can continue our aggressively pro-traffic policy without unnecessarily hurting people. @mods: please let me know whether or not the OP was offended.
