Ishilove: Haaa, Seun Osewa!!!You are angry because I did not disable posting on Nairaland? Why? |
shayoor:what is so surprising about what I said? |
Due to some technical issues, the maintenance operation was postponed. Apologies for the false alarm. |
Ishilove: The hair in my armpits is finally sprouting. *sigh* What do I do? Razor or scissors?Shaving clipper. Less dangerous. |
Dear Nairaland Members, For a few hours this evening, we will disable posting on Nairaland in order to facilitate a maintenance operation. When you try to login, post on Nairaland, or like a post, you will get an error message instead. Please do not be alarmed when that happens; it's part of the plan. Best regards, Seun Osewa. |
fellis: I tire for the guy. I thought he was putting all those nonsense replacements because google threatened that they won't pay him if he does not do it. Now he is no longer collecting money from google so I wonder why we are still seeing self service and joystick on this site. We're still doing it because it's cute, unique, and makes the site less offensive to people who are sensitive to that sort of thing. |
chiover: He has been axed, because of his padi padi relationship with Bro Seun,he was given a fair landing. He was admonished to withdraw latentlyFalse. Afam4eva is a good & valued moderator and has not been axed in any way. |
shigidi: What does this mean? Buying more as the price drops? It means spreading your stock purchases over a long period of time and buying shares that cost a certain amount in naira each time. The spreading out of the purchases greatly reduces the risk of loss due to buying at a time when the shares are relatively expensive. But it also greatly reduces the possibility of making more money by buying at a time when the shares are relatively cheap. Since the amount invested is constant, this means you will tend to buy more shares when they are cheap than when they are expensive. That makes it arguably superior to the similar strategy of buying X shares at regular intervals over a period of time. |
What did the text message say? |
Born 2be Rich: i will go for aiico, japaul, nascon, nem, prestige, and maybe oandoWhy? |
Poor Jide. He does not want to be tortured for what he knows nothing about. |
Billyonaire: Quit that folly young man, try to encourage august visitations instead of dwelling on negativity. That you own Nairaland does not give you the effrontery to make such negative assertion on the good people of Akwa Ibom and Niger Delta Professionals, I am a Niger Deltan so stop it.Apologies. |
chiover: wats funiMark Zuckerberg is not going to risk kidnapping to honour a random group's invitation. He would have to be invited by maybe NOI. |
LOL! |
If you guess that a stock is going to go up, there's a 50% chance that you'll be right. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. It means nothing. Even Warren Buffett cannot say that he is sure that a stock will go up by 30% in a certain time frame. All he can say is that he believes a stock is undervalued and that over the long run it is quite likely that other investors will realize the value of the stock, and therefore the stock price will probably go up. And even if they don't, the company will be in a position to pay sufficient dividends to earn him a positive return on his investment, or to buy back its undervalued shares so that the remaining shares will command a much higher price. |
You can recommend a stock and explain exactly why you think it's under-priced, but you can't predict the future price. No one knows the future. |
@stockbull: there is no basis for a belief that any stock will rise by 30% in a specific time period. stop hyping. |
Table Leg: They have nothing to offer us... Did they beg to come here? Did they forcefully grab your land?!Those are irrelevant questions. They were given free land because we thought they had much to offer us. Now we know better. That's all. |
We already know that our government is "in shambles". That is not news. What is news is that these guys have nothing to offer us that we don't already have. We don't need their expertise in whining and complaining about the government. We already have that in vast quantities. |
kayci_d77: Seun u dey reach this kind placeNa traffic bring me here, my brother. |
phillip001: this is the most stupid post ever stupIdWhat's stupid about it? The government never gave me any free land, and I am a Nigerian, so why should they get that plus much more? |
They are used to being supported by the government and they cannot survive without being coddled by the government. So let them get the hell out of here. We already have farmers who can't thrive without government coddling; we don't need to import such from Zimbabwe. ![]() |
