Rather than make funny excuses, he should practice more caution next time.
Are you saying he should stop having the sex? Or that he should ask girls to drop their phones with security before coming to his room for the sex? Or that he should escort them out before sleeping after having the sex with them? Or he should simply stop sleeping? huh

ogugua88: Well, here's Ebuka. Before her, it was Sonia. Kissing and telling/showing and telling isn't a new phenomenon. They do it everywhere.
I suspect that those stories are nothing like this one. Post a link to each of those pictures so we can compare them to this one.

ogugua88: I beg to differ lol. That wasn't the first time it happened. You'd be surprised as to how many young girls would stay awake while a famous guy slept off just to show the world who they slept with.
Can you give some examples of such girls? (girls who took pictures of themselves in bed with famous guys while the guys slept)

Extremely skillful make up + advanced cosmetic surgery + great photographer + heroic photoshop work + strongly biased editorialization = success!

It makes sense. The expression on the woman's face suggests mischief. He also certainly looks like he's asleep.

AjanleKoko: That forex thread should move here.
That's about the only thing I look at in the business section. Would be nice if we could get all the investment-related topics in one section wink
I don't think FOREX is an investment. How can you invest in something that constantly loses its value? (currency)

Anyway why was there an auction yesterday 27 March when there was one last Wednesday 20 March? I thought the auctions only happened bi-monthly
I'm equally confused, but I think they may have shifted the auctions forward because of the holidays.
InvestmentRe: Buying Shares in Nigeria: Companies, Stock Market Trends, & Opportunities by Seun(mod): 11:49pm On Mar 27, 2013
Seun: The stock market is currently struggling. You shouldn't invest unless you know how to read financial reports to figure out how much a company is worth.
222martins insulted me over this comment, which I made in 2011. First of all, that was a long time ago, so why insult me now? Secondly, I don't think it was out of line. The stock market was struggling in 2011. You don't need to be an experienced speculator to know when the stock market is struggling. If the NSE all share index is moving sideways or downwards, then it is fair to say it is struggling. In investing, we have to be frank if we want to succeed.. We should not say the market is doing well when it is not doing well. We cannot afford to be sentimental or emotional.

While I admitted to not having bought any stocks yet, that does not imply that I am ignorant about stocks. Buying stocks does not make you an expert. Many people bought stocks because they were told that the prices always go up. I think I know more than those people, and therefore I think I have the right to tell them to be careful. If you think you know better, we can have a civilized argument about it. You don't need to spew barbaric invective on our faces just because you disagree with someone's opinion. That is just not classy.

AmazingWorldNG: Yes, good job brother. Appreciate! I am also considering taking up a slot on the main page.
That would be really lovely! See https://www.nairaland.com/1049481/how-place-adverts-nairaland for full details.

222Martins: Oga Seun, I laud your honesty and straightforwardness. However, business and investing are subjects quite from politics. Just a little misinformation can ruin your life, that is why we need to be careful of the advice we give and take.
WTF are you talking about again? WTF does anything we are talking about have to do with Politics? Are you just trolling? huh
WebmastersRe: Nairaland's New Background And Layout Style by Seun(mod): 2:28pm On Mar 27, 2013
We've changed the background. Three changes: (1) New colour scheme. (2) It's a much smaller file. 3) 45 degree orientation.

Oga Seun, I always have the latest Chrome.

Currently, I have Version 26.0.1410.33 beta.

Maybe it's the operating system because I am on Ubuntu Linux.
I experienced the same problem you experienced after upgrading Chrome yesterday night, so it's been fixed. Your Chrome was just early.
InvestmentRe: Buying Shares in Nigeria: Companies, Stock Market Trends, & Opportunities by Seun(mod): 1:15pm On Mar 27, 2013
@22Martins: So what? I have made no secret of the fact that I have not invested in any stocks, so obviously I am not yet a stock investor. Therefore I don't understand the relevance of the 'point' you seem to think you are making. I know that I need to practice stock analysis and I have suggested that we should create a thread where we can practice it together after learning the basic principles. But until I become good at it, I will not buy any shares. I think not participating is much better than losing the game.

Your ad is designed as if the most important thing on it is your logo and the name of your company, which is not true. I think the most important thing is actually a statement of what makes your firm different from and better than other web design firms. Ridiculously low prices? Fast turnaround? Fantastic after-sales services and support? Do you specialize in the design of a particular type of website? Do you have a testimonial from a particularly notable customer? Your ad will be on the same page as 10 to 20 other ads, so you will need to differentiate your firm from the rest of the pack to attract the type of customers that you are best equipped to serve. And you will need to emphasise that difference in your ad. This advice should help other web designers as well. Good luck!

cyclops4real: what happened to the first one i didnt see any advert for webmaster on the header or footer
There is an ad for web designers that is shown on every page on Nairaland if you're using a PC. That ad is on a slot worth 79,000 naira a week. When you click it, you will find yourself on this page: www.nairaland.com/webdesigners with all the web design ads, and hopefully you'll check out a couple of them before hitting the back button.

sisqology: My question is: the people that won the last one, how many people have contacted them? how many contracts did they win?
You can call them to ask them. You can check their responses when I asked the same question here: nairaland.com/1230614/6#14918631

222Martins: Knowing the principles of stock valuation does not mean you can value a stock, knowing is different from doing.
I think that is a very obvious thing to say. 2 + 2 = 4. The sky is blue. All birds have wings. So what? huh

Yes. We will start the new ad run at the end of the current one.
Art, Graphics & VideoFree Ad Promo For Web Designers On Nairaland: Round 2 by Seun(mod):
I'm pleased to inform you that we will be providing another round of free advertising to web designers and web design firms on Nairaland. This time, we will provide free advertising worth at least 39,500 naira to be shared by 10 to 20 lucky web designers.

To be considered for the free ad offer, please submit the following items on this thread:
1. A 154 by 95 pixel banner ad in the 24-bit PNG format, which promotes your web design business. It must have a dark-coloured, solid single pixel border all round.
2. A link to an excellent landing page on your official website which primarily promotes your web design business.

We will pick the 10 to 20 best design and landing page combos which are in full complaince with our requirements above, and put them on a page similar to www.nairaland.com/webdesigners. During the last round, many designers submitted ads at the wrong size and we had to manually resize them. We will be more strict this time.

Here are some tips for designing for the 154 by 95 pixel format:
1. Don't use more than 10 words of text. Leave out less relevant details and put them on your landing page.
2. Use attractive images that are meaningful to your prospective clients and are likely to attract their attention.
3. The most important elements of your ad - text or images - should be as big and bold and sharp as possible.
4. Don't design at a different resolution and resize as the last step. The resulting image will by blurry and ugly.

This time, each web designer may submit only one entry. If you submit more than one entry, we will assume that the last one you submitted is the only one you submitted. So send us your very best and most compelling design!

The contest is over! The winning ads can be seen in the attachment below, and here. Thanks to everyone for participating!
