I have at least 3 elantras on my fleet on uber specifically .. The car is good and didn't have major issues at all.. The transmission issue they are talking about I don't know o ..the only transmission issue was due to the drivers fault.. Parts can be expensive and I had to change alternator in the car ..I think most cars start having alternator issue at about 150k miles or so ..I can't really think of any other issue for ..the people that complain about parts issues are mostly likely buying warn out parts.. Very hard to get good parts in ladipo ..and also I make sure they keep good maintenance culture on the car ...my cars are all tokunbo ,bought by me in the USA ..the engine cost for a USA spec elantra should not be more than 200k ..

Bottom line I will continue buying the car ..it is expensive now to buy ..the price range can be from 1.6 to 2m 2007 to 2009. And also please use good engine oil Mobil USA spec 5w20 or 5w30.. Use coolant for the car ..take care of the car to avoid been at the mercy of any mechanic either on nairaland or outside nairaland.. You don't want to be coming on nairaland to start seeking advice for car repair from anybody.. Better make you respect yourself on that order.. Even if you need help fixing your car ,it shouldn't break the bank if you have done your own part taking care of the car.. Bottom line use good engine oil and coolant to reduce been at the mercy of anybody o .
And also if the car needs repairs take it to a mechanic that knows about elantra or kia cars , there is a specialist on nairaland called the people's chump, sorry meant to say the people's mechanic.. Have not used him before, but he has a strong loyal follower on the thread, cult like follower that can swear by his good work ethic.. Some of them no dey see road at times.. But according to them he is good, he seems good but me personally I have never used him ... bottom line take care of the car use good oil USA spec Mobil 1 , the people's mechanic sells them and I sell them too . Hey nairalanders, what do you think? Is this normal? Marriage doesn't appeal to me at all same as having kids, I prefer having dogs even now i have 2 of them and as soon as I get a job and make enough money I plan on getting 3 more making them 5 in number. I know most people, the first thing they want to do as soon as they get a job is to get married and have kids but not me, I'm also not interested in having a girlfriend, though I used to have one back then when I was in the university but we were forced to leave each other being that she had to go back to her country and I had to come back to Nigeria.
After that I got another girl here in Nigeria, but I had to leave her because she was too expensive and she was draining me financially. After that, I just lost interest in relationships and I decided to be single, I decided that even if I feel the need to lay with a woman I can just go to an ashawo hotel or get a steady woman who I can be calling any time I need company. I think this is the lifestyle that suits me especially in this harsh economy, its easier for me. If I get married and have kids imagine all the money I'm going to have to be spending, excess groceries, all kinds of bills, school fees and the list goes on.
At least having a steady woman to call like maybe once a week can't be as expensive as getting married and supporting a wife.
Also having dogs can't be as expensive as raising kids, with dogs all I need to do is to buy their feed, their grooming products and pay for their medical bills and probably training fees too but with kids and a wife imagine all the bills, the lists keep compiling and they never end.
What is your take on this? What do you think?

Ha no be nairaland I go dey go into details with driver matter.. My point is to make sure partners are aware of such criminal driver ..if I can help one person to avoid a nightmare driver ,I think I have done my best to make ehailing business move forward in Nigeria... with me honesty is what you get, but at the same time I dey match that honesty with crazyness o ..

This is a warning : I am letting all the uber partners / taxify partners out there to known. Mr. Kingsley my former driver is owing over 70k not including damages to me.. Partners you need to be aware of this guy o ..He has a great deal of damage to my car .. We have been calling him to pay and he has not paid. He promise to pay ,he keeps avoid our call.. We waited over a month for him to pay.. He stated that he will pay this week and only for him not to answer his phone.. The accident above occured two months ago .. He stated that according to him that a trailer hit him from the back ..which of course it's a bloody lie , my guess is that he either hit something or he fell asleep and hit the trailer.. Either which way be very careful when dealing with him ..He claims to be a born again ,but all that na wash ...partners be on the look out ...
