Hmmm..life touching story....Hebrews: 1:1,2 - God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake IN TIMES PAST unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath IN THESE LAST DAYS spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds... Prophecy are meant to be prayed about, and not necessarily to make you afraid....trust only the voice of the SON. |
Dollyak:If I may ask, has your name ever made fame on nairaland, or in any national dailies ( the nation newspaper reported the local champions success). You must have dreamt of receiving a standing ovation from a cheering crowd and some creme de LA cream of the society, but I am not sure you achieved that (ooni of ife, the m.d of chams and the governor, who is well represented are listed among the cheering crowd who gave a standing ovation to this lady). Don't forget that she has already gotten a job, as promised by the rector without carrying files all around, with copies of CV and application letter; I don't know your current status but I am sure you would thank God the more, if u had such opportunities.... #StopHatingStartPraying...... |
LesbianBoy:hater!!! Ooni:local champion!!! u need serious prayers....ooni, oye ki o tie soro bi omoluabi die!!! |
Raft foundation is good, due to the type of building you planned to build. it is also safe (provided u consult a good structural engineer) and economical compare to pile foundation. The size of the building (I.e. the length and breadth), the loadings and d structural arrangements would determine the cost of your foundation. I can't give u d accurate price, but I can do you a favour by giving u a cost breakdown of a recent foundation of a 2 storey (2 units of 4 bedroom duplex at osapa. contact me at wapadeps@gmail.com or 07062508601 |

I am amazed that....even as Christians, we are confused, whether NIV is antichrist or not....whether u write 20 pages epistle against NIV. I will study it as far as it is 'helping me to conform to d image of Christ'....The 'letter' killeth but the 'Spirit' giveth life. continue looking for letters in NIV, while I keep finding life in it. |
The president of the Southern Baptist Convention has a message regarding the looming Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage: We will not obey. “The Supreme Court of the United States is not the final authority nor is the culture itself,” declared Ronnie Floyd, the elected leader of the nation’s largest Protestant denomination. “The Bible is God’s final authority about marriage and on this book we stand. “While some evangelicals may be bowing down to the deception of the inclusiveness of same- sex marriage, we will not bow down nor will we be silent,” Floyd declared in a fiery speech on Tuesday. “We do not need to redefine what God Himself has defined already. “America – we stand believing that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime,” he said in a thundering speech. “We have believed this and do believe this and will continue to believe this as a convention of churches. We stand for biblical and traditional marriage. Dr. Floyd reminded the gathering of something German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” “This is a Bonhoeffer moment for every pastor in the United States,” Floyd said, warning ministers that the time has come for every minister to stand strongly and clearly – regardless of the cost. “That’s what Bonhoeffer did,” he said “I declare to everyone today as a minister of the Gospel – I will not officiate over any same-sex unions or same-sex marriage ceremonies,” he said. “I completely refuse.” “And while we affirm our love for all people, including those struggling with same-sex attraction, we cannot and will not affirm any behavior that deviates from God’s design for marriage,” he said. The issue facing Southern Baptists is one that will face every person of faith in the United States – do you follow God or the government? “Our first commitment is to God and His Word – nothing else and no one else,” Dr. Floyd said matter-of-factly. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/06/16/southern-baptists-supreme-court-is-not-final-authority-on-gay-marriage.html

Otondos! welcome to Anambra state ' The light of the nation'. I shall be giving you important details for a conducive stay at anambra. Transportation: From south west, edo , delta; board a bus going to enugu ( the reason for this is to avoid undue stresses of moving along the onitsha busy street with your excessive luggages, also, it will aid ease and speed of getting to d camp since umunya is along onitsha-awka-enugu road), alight at umunya corpers camp. then board a bike to d camp. For those who deem it fit to pass through onitsha, or those coming from other parts of d country, after the bus has dropped u at onitsha, get a bike that will take u to where u can get bus to Awka (upper iweka). (pls be security conscious, since u are new to anambra, even though onitsha people are so friendly and hospitable, some elements still exist there). board awka bus and alight at umunya camp(150 naira); then board a bike to d camp (50 naira or so). ABOUT UMUNYA CAMP: The camp is located at Oyi local govt, it has a serene and green environment, with lawn looking parade ground. it consist of many well built and painted hostels like the independence ( up indepence hostel), oyi, national, white, equity etc. with bad toilets and bathrooms ( so expect, shot puts and longthrow, although not advisable but i do am well well). On arrival : I would advise u to arrive to camp early, so as to get a better accomodation, also to avoid long and stressful queueing during registration after a tedious journey and to get a fitted or a fairly fitted kits- many will get extra large). on arrival, u will be searched by some friendly officers, then you proceed for accomodation registration, after getting your hostel, locate a suitable territory for your bed location, keep your luggages on it ( remove cash, atm, phones and other valuable items). then speedily go and get your bed at the store on the other side after the parade ground. after collecting your bed, take it to ur hostel and proceed for call up letter clarification and other registration in phases Camp Officials: Umunya camp has the most friendly but disciplined army ( all hail the commandoes, you guys will meet d young fluent action commando, comedian RSM, atama clapping r.i.p. platoon 10 commandant). The state coordinator, who is popularly known for her charming dresses and her anthem ( anyama supepe....anyama, anyama supepe). The camp coordinator might be mr. uranta, a tall skinny man, whose popular slogan ussually make the crowd burst into laughter ( good morning this morning, something happened yesterday, camp court!), the Obs man,our devotional cordinator ( remember to learn On christ the solid rock hymn) thats d devotional anthem. my advice: dont insult any camp officials no matter how small or menial they look, they might turn to be your lga inspector or zonal inspector after camp; for example, my own lga inspector was in the kitchen in camp. Groups in camp: There are various groups i would advice you to join. 1. OBS- orientation braoadcasting service oversees the passage of information/announcement, entertainment, public address system, sport commentary during matches, event organizer, news broadcasting and public relations.although its for everyone, but to avoid eviction i advise that if you are an entertainer, communicator, engineer ( majorly electrical), musician, comedian, studio technicals, commentators, you can join this group. 2. Camp Band: these are those that engage in military parade entertainment, devotional praises with drums, trumpet, saxophone, biggle. they also engage in blowing the biggle ( its like trumpet) for light out and conveyance to d parade ground. ( everybody knows the biggle man and trust me, na nysc pikin be d biggle man). if you can sing, energetic enough to stand for a long while, could play instruments ( wind and percussion instrument), you can join this group. there is a great reward for joining. 3. Camp court: if you a legal personnel, this is d group you must join. they oversee the legal activities of the camp. they issue punitive measures to undisciplined corp member based on the nysc bye laws ( abeg make una no face camp court oo, even jail dey camp ooo). lawyers, dont let corp members know u are in camp court ooo...(joking) 4. Medical expertees and red cross: this consist of medicine and surgery graduates, nursing and science laboratory technologist. you must always be in the camp clinic for emergencies and treatment of ailing corp member. your own parade ground is the clinic. 5.Other groups include social committee, sport committee, SAED committee. joining some of these committees might not yield a good result. i am a victim of sport committee, even though it was fun and an added knowledge. Platoon Activities: platoon means a 'small group of soldiers'. The last number on your state code automatically fixes you in a platoon. e.g state code 1214 will be in platoon 4, code 0320 will be in platoon 10, code 2381 will be in platoon 1. A platoon officer ( nysc official), platoon commandant and assistant (2 army), a man o' war and platoon leader and assistant ( a corp member) a. Platoon leader-He/she will carry out the leadership responsibility in the platoon as designated by superior platoo officers listed above. Guy! please rush in for this position; though stressful a bit, but its an hot cake if you are effective. most especially when u win trophies for your platoon. b. Platoons challenge- Several competitions will hold at the camp, which include, sport (football, volleyball), drama, macho man, dance (mostly cultural dance of your posting state), beauty paegent, comedy, talks, parade and some other social activities. Your engagement in these activities and yielding remarkable result for your platoon might lead to a favourable PPA posting. Its really fun guys. Camp Supplies: You will be provided with a bed space ( first come first serve) and a mat-looking bed (na joke ooo!), a meal ticket ( trust some of the 'Jagunlabis' who ate more than 2 plates with one card). You will be given a complete kits in which many of u might not get a fitted size. ( try and exchange with others who needs yours and you need theirs OR beg the officer in charge). Also, there is a consistent and uninterrupted water and electricity supply (no charging points in d hostels). Camp Market: popularly called 'maamy' . many market sellers are waiting for you to patronize them, ranging from food sellers ( state local meal, indomie, fried foods like akara), tailors, phone charging spots, consumables, plates, socks and underwears, dry cleaners, viewing centers e.t.c. things are very expensive in camp. Also try and visit the federal market (nccf). Religious activities: you are at immunity to practise your religion as far as it does not interrupt with camp rules. My Advise: many lives might be ruined in camp and many lives will be equipped, its an avenue for you to draw closer to God. Activities will almost take you away from your spiritual devotions but Nigeria christian corpers fellowship and muslim corpers fellowship are there for you. both fellowships will withdraw cash for you ( u might run out of cash, charge your phones and couselling. all for free!) NCCF impact your life through their daily worship and word filled service and engages in spiritual counselling and welfarism. The MCF makes sure u engage in your daily 5 times prayed uninterrupted. Feel free to ask question about any pressing matter. 21 days in a confined territory away from the real world is once in a life time. two things are involved, its either you are equipped or destroyed. I am trusting God for your lives that after 21 days, you will come out smiling and not soberly, with a testimony and not with regrets. Have a fulfilled stay. |
#This new approach must also begin with honesty. We do not know if the Chibok girls can be rescued. Their whereabouts remain unknown. As much as I wish to, I cannot promise that we can find them. But I say to every parent, family member and friend of the children that my Government will do everything in its power to bring them home. #. i dont know if you read this, before u comment......simple english has caused problem....read this portion of the report and then comment again... |
youngalex:i am sorry, u have no point, why dont u build d companies in anambra and pay d tax to Anam State govt for d development of ur land...these companies mentioned are located in lagos due to proximity to market and other resources....its to their own advantage.... |

lalasticlala:i dont just understand what is wrong with this people.. if u dont respect ur obi, we respect d king here... Jimi agbaje has replied d oba, pdp through their sooth sayers has replied d oba, fani kayode did, alaba boys & ladipo boys took to nairaland to make absurd comment, even when d oba has sent d real message. To all Igbos, we all know that the pains of d biafra war is still in u, u can do whatsoever u like but u can never receive any apology. as for u jimi, look at what u cost d yoruba kingdom...we have lost confidence in u...ur quest for power has yielded irresponsible comment from these igbos and u expect us to vote for u. lets see who owns lagos on saturday. as for d catholic church, is that d preaching of d cross, u are suppose to engage in on an easter sunday, anyway ' d preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.'.... |
Collynzo9:As far as i am concerned, Rochas is d best governor in d east...did u watch or hear about d gubernatorial debate, where the APGA candidate began to clap for okorocha...shiorrr...Igbos will never learn to celebrate their own.. |
TAN again, I thought they have capsized......(JK) Just Kidding has no place in Lagos. Why wont Igbo people face what concerns them? They recently lost the senate president seat due to their partisan politics....They have started again, The real Lagosians will call for the closure of Ladipo, Alaba market and Trade fair, then, i think you will learn not to put mouth in other peoples biz. |
The name Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu rings in the heart of many nigerians, especially the Igbo race, where he hails from. Ojukwu, who earned the accolades of the Ikemba (Strength of the Nation) and Dikedioramma ("beloved hero of the masses" , was the brave man who spear headed the fight for the survival and development of the Igbo region, and the creation of a new republic (BIAFRA). He gave all he has just to fulfil this mission. He also spent 13 years at the maximum prison, Kirikiri, for this same cause. As a committed democrat, every single day under an un-elected government hurts him. 'The citizens of this country are mature enough to make their own choices, just as they have the right to make their own mistakes", Ojukwu quoted. Ojukwu had played a significant role in Nigeria's return to democracy since 1999 (the fourth Republic). He had contested as presidential candidate of his party, All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) for the last three of the four elections. Until his illness, he remained the party leader. The party was in control of two states in and largely influential amongst the Igbo ethnic area of Nigeria. The motive behind the creation of APGA is not to fight for a new soverign state (BIAFRA), but to create a place for the Igbo politicians in the tribalized political settings of Nigeria, to see the Igbo politicians at the peak of national affairs. The recently concluded Presidential and National Assembly Election has showed us how the so-called Igbo leaders betrayed Ojukwu and sold the Igbos birthright for a morsel of bread. It all started when Gov. Peter Obi was rumoured to decamp to the PDP just to canvass the Igbo nation to vote for an Ijaw man, who has no share of their pains during the Biafran war. According to Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Ojukwu said 'Obi had made a vow to Ojukwu that he would never deny the Igbo race by leaving APGA for another party'. Bianca reminded Obi of his vow to Ojukwu when the rumour became widespread, but some weeks later, Obi had to move to PDP for his own selfish federal interest. The news of his decampment spread accross the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, as Bianca promised not to have anything to do with him again, which leads to the disagreement between both of them. Some weeks later, Obi was used to penetrate into APGA, so as to adopt the PDP presidential candidate, President Jonathan. Observations were raised from different quaters, that APGA should have presented her own presidential candidate, who would have been a voice to the Igbo race; since other unpopular parties like NCP, KOWA, AA could present a candidate. The response of the national chairman of APGA (also an APGA senatorial candidate), Chief Victor Umeh ignites criticism from sincere Igbo men, who are against this disastrous decision. Umeh said "We have been lampooned and condemned because we are supporting President Jonathan – let me tell you quite frankly, until we lead our people on the right track we are wasting our time, Today there are no Igbos contesting for president in the APC, so why align with APC?” He stated further, “Jonathan has shown respect for the Igbos even if he has challenges running the affairs of the country, most of which are man-made. APGA has no apologies for supporting President Jonathan – what we offer is constructive criticism. You must not oppose government all the time if you are not in government. In developed countries (opposition parties) means those who are not in government but are interested in government." My question to Chief Umeh is, does having your own presidential candidate means you hate Jonathan and who told you that, you lead the Igbo people on the right track. APGA unfortunately adopted a man that has rejected the Igbos (remember the 2nd niger bridge, the onitsha-enugu road were promised to the Igbos...its construction only began during campaign just to earn the Igbo votes...How many farmers has access to the claimed supply of fertilizer by the federal goverment under Jonathan administration? The Omabala region of Anambra State (Oyi, Anambra East, Anambra West and Ayamelum) where the governor of Anambra, Willie Obiano, hails from lived without electricity for many years, which is the same in many neglected rural area in the Igbo land. Anambra state does not have an Airport (whether local or international), even when her daughter, oduah was the minister of Aviation, the claimed light rail that Jonathan administration lied that they bought has never been seen anywhere in the east. Some of their transformation agenda in Agriculture is to supply machineries to our farmers, Can anyone from the Igbo region tell me if they were given any). Everything Jonathan did for the Igbo people is on paper, but his adoption by this APGA leaders has blinded the eyes of the Igbo people. (I did want any Igbo man to reply what his state gained from the Jonathan government in six years) Also, the most reverred Reverend father in the East, Rev. father Mbaka, An Igbo descent was widely criticised by N'digbo for his counter attack against the Jonathan administration. Many Igbos were happy when the sitting president wife, who is not a Igbo woman in character, language, ethics and by state of birth almost killed their own priest and almost destroyed the reverred ADORATION ministry of the Eastern people. The funniest of the Mbaka story is an unemployed Igbo man who did a well-bought album tagged 'MBAKA WHY?'. They turned their own priest to a laughing stock, when the south westerners and notherners are celebrating him for his courage. Today, Mbaka said he has been vindicated over Buhari's victory. Mbaka is not interested in a man who is not from the east but bears Azikwe, just to trickishly gather the Igbo peoples vote. He is interested in what the spirit tells him. 'the stone that the builder rejected has now become the chief cornerstone' THIS BEGAN THE DESTRUCTION OF WHAT OJUKWU BUILT TO CONSOLE HIMSELF FOR THE WAR HE FOUGHT FOR. TODAY, APGA LOST ALL SENATORIAL SEATS AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE SEATS IN THE WHOLE NATION. How on Earth can Stella Oduah, who has been widely criticised for gross misconduct in public office, be able to win the respected DUBEM OBAZE from Nsugbe. How on Earth can Chris Uba, who was linked to the Ekitigate saga, be able to win the national chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh in a senatorial challenge. Shame on you Umeh, I hope you have learn to trust the PDP, after you sold your birthright!!! The whole IGBO land canvassed for the PDP, just for a morsel of bread, when all the bigger share of the PDP 21 billion naira campaign money was spent mainly to the south westerners kings, politicians and people. The Igbos forgot that there should be a balance in our approach to politics. Today, The senate president seat that should have been given to the Igbo descent, is now going to Bukola Saraki of Kwara State. Thanks to Gov. Rochas Okorocha, and Chris Ngige, who deem it fit to join the APC just to get a notable position for the Igbo people, when the likes of Umeh are castigating them. April 11th will be another contest for the House of Assembly all accross the Nation, I hope and pray that APGA will gather at least a seat. Otherwise, the only sitting APGA governor, Gov. Willie Obiano should be ready to face impeachment from the opposition legislator who are ready to take the state from him or decamp to their sides. Then, that might be the end of APGA, The party that Ojukwu strive to build. |
