The only tribe that has something against this family is north for exposing the death of yaradua....Dora was loved even has her statue at a junction somewhere at agulu

There is no Igbo that doesn't know the family....the wives picture is boldy displayed at NAFDAC OFFICE AGULU till tomorrow..... IPOB HAS HAD MANY PROTEST TEAR DOWN POLITICIANS POSTERS BUT NEVER FOR ONE DAY TOUCHED THAT WOMANS BILL BOARD
This thing has turn to bakasi boys style, they have people's mandate but as usual human bieng can be reckless if not properly manage and this is exactly what is going on.

Like I said before this was how bokoharram started in the North, they were in tacit support because it gives the government of the day headache and make him look incompetent but at the end they suffered serious consequences. I expected people from this area be more sophisticated and enlighten enough not to fall into same trap the North fell for but with what I'm seeing, reading online and opinion of average easterner, the result North got from bokoharam is inevitable.

1. IPOB
2. Business rivals (who took advantage of the Unknown Gunmen Saga)
3. Random Hoodlums (maybe he was mistaken for a politician)

It'll be best to allow police carry out thorough, non manipulative investigation.

U are very correct, infact most iPhone users will not buy this iPhone without Apple batch on it, however iPhone is much more than that even though most user can't see beyond the batch.

Again with the stereotypes. Google is not stealing your data, you gave them permission to mine it with you sign up with them. You can limit the amount of data the collect but you can't turn it all off.
Apple is not ripping it users off. Apple is currently the most recognized brand in the world. That brand value is everything. If you have any idea what brand value means for business you wouldn't join the band wagon.
A leather airtag case cost about a $1000 just because it produced by LV. There's no where that little amount of leather cost that much but because of the brand behind its production. If LV ripping it users off, absolutely not. They are not forcing anybody to get it. whoever buy it knows what they are getting. An LV airtag case. "Brand Value".
Anybody with an idea of how that affect a business OM will know that.
Lol permission with little or no choice?
Just like software companies allow u to read terms and conditions without real option of rejection.
In short u mean anybody that uses Apple paid for brand recognition? If I get u right, then I don't think I'm too far from u. However what ever rocks ur world.

You're perpetuating a stereotype and that's what I'm talking about. We see this everyday. From Apple is ripping it's user off to iPhone is too expensive. It's 2021, can we stop with it. The S21 Ultra is literally more expensive than the iPhone 13 pro max that's is the same price as the 11 pro max but I haven't seen anyone said anything on that with Samsung but immediately Apple announced the iPhone 13, everywhere was filled with iPhone is too expensive and all that.
I mean they don't want you to use 3rd party repair, that's their business model. Can you respect that? Apple is not the only company that follows that philosophy.
I really have no idea why you trying to push this to fanatism when it's clear as day that you're just perpetuating a stereotype
This is not sterotype buddy, it is a fact. Alphabet also intrude into users privacy to make money it is also a fact which are both negative in their own ways

Defending both of them is nothing far from fanatism like I v said before.

The situation is like Nigeria's political system where the two political parties are evil we just have to go with any one our sentiment is attached to.

I wish we have the third force which is not on the extreme like Apple ripping it's users off and Alphabet stealing data, i believe they both could do this in moderation and still makes ton of money.

[quote author=Denn post=106268967]And the irony is that Face ID is so sweet that it makes no sense to buy one without it.

For android humans, Face ID is not the same as your prehistoric face unlock. It might look like it does the same thing but it doesn’t. It is like saying Rolls Royce or Toyota.

My final conclusion. If you cannot pay the cost to maintain a lifestyle, you simply can’t afford it. If your limit na Iphone 6s, my brother dey that limit. Na same IOS15 dem dey use. Original Iphone SE still runs IOS 15 and is still very much fluid.

[/quobefore.

This is my problem, seeing everyday tools as lifestyle not too good.

I wanted to buy a new phone because my last phone had screen problem but what I use my phone for only few Android can do it because it requires pure processing power but I'm very sure any iphone with A14 will handle it flawlessly but the thought of iphone being lifestyle rather a pure tools turned me off, I just went for samsung s21 ultra which was even more expensive than the existing iphone as at that time, but nobody really sees as a status or lifestyle infact alot of people don't really know it.

Iphone is a great tool of it's class but turning it to status thing and maintaining it is taking out its greatest capacity as a tool.

How has this turn to Apple vs Android fan boy War?

This is my problem with people who use things based on fanatism instead of experience and benefit.
@Denn as really explain the true situation which is plausible reason but many believes it is just an excuse to make more money.

Every company has their weaknesses and pro but trying to feel attack or offended when people point out the weaknesses is nothing short of fanatism.

@Denn u are partly right, infact privacy is not the only tenable excuse apple gave but uses of cheap inferior third-party spare part which could cause damage to other parts. However we all know it is to make more money at it was seen in a case of Norway repair shop, the repair shop owner get his spare directly from same Chinese factory but at far less price compare to what Apple gave him and he repair for far less price than what Apple normally charge.

Well that is Apple business model and that is where they makes their own money.

Nigeria's Anti-graft Agency, EFCC Seeks Forfeiture Of N20billion Salary Loan Allegedly Diverted By Kogi Government

It was learnt that the money was diverted into an interest-yielding account.

Officials of Kogi State government have been accused of diverting the N20 billion bailout secured by the state government to pay workers

It was learnt that the money was diverted into an interest-yielding account.

The money was put in Sterling Bank, with the account name: Kogi State salary bail-out account.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is seeking a court order to ensure the money is forfeited and returned to the coffers of the Nigerian government.
The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos presided over by Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke on Tuesday adjourned till 15 October 2021 hearing of all applications in respect of the money.

At the hearing of the matter, counsel for the Kogi State government, Prof. Sam Erogbo, SAN, told Justice Aneke that his client had filed processes against the interim order granted by Justice Ringim, and that the EFCC had equally filed a reply to the same.

He told the court that he needed time to respond to the EFCC’s counter-claim and also asked for a short date to hear his applications.

Counsel for the EFCC, Rotimi Oyedepo, in his response, admitted being served with the processes and added that he had equally filed a counter-claim.

Consequently, Justice Aneke adjourned the matter till October 15, 2021, for hearing of all the applications.

Justice Tijani Garba Ringim had on 31 August 2021 ordered the freezing of the account, following an ex-parte application filed by the EFCC.

The EFCC, in a 13-paragraph affidavit in support of the ex-parte application, said the money was reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities in an account No. 0073572696 domiciled in Sterling Bank, Plc with the name Kogi State Salary Bailout Account.

A. O. Mohammed, counsel for the EFCC, had urged the court to grant the Order to prevent further dissipation of the funds in the account, in moving the application for the interim forfeiture of the funds on August 31, 2021.

The N20 billion loan meant to augment the salary payment and running cost of the government was kept in an interest-yielding account with the bank, Mohammed had also told Justice Ringim.

“Instead of using the money for the purpose it was meant for, Sterling Bank Plc, acting on the instruction of the Kogi State Government, transferred the money from the loan account and placed it in a fixed deposit account.”

He also told the court that the bank had yet to present any credible evidence to show that the facility was well secured.

Justice Ringim ordered the freezing of the account number 0073572696, and also directed the publication of the order in a national newspaper by the EFCC, after listening to the applicant’s counsel.

The Commission was also ordered to make a quarterly report to the court on the progress of its investigation.

The Kogi State government has denied the allegations.

Modern leftist are trying to twist what it takes man kind years of society experiences to achieve under the guise of equality, human right, hate speech and Co.

We all know we are not created equal and we don't equaly posses same gift.

There are some things that women can do better than men based on pure biology, psychology and other reason and one should expect women to be more productive in such aspect and therefore should earn more than men and vice versa.

So this debate is hand work of extreme leftist who are behind change in societal order, they pushes feminism, LGBT, frame like evil patriarchy etc.

Lastly politics is a game of interest, number and friends, even United State build friendly cooporation with as many countries as possible to foster her hegemony on world and those friendship are sustained by constantly looking out for d interest of such nation( that is how valuable the interest is in politics). In Nigeria it is the same except the interest in not about u and me but about the big political players. Why did u think Atiku got PDP ticket in the last election? Do u even know how Gej got the ticket in 2010/11 or how Obj outwit Alex Ekweme?

This thing are primarily based on interest, personal ambition, promises of what they will get if they wins and what they will get right now.

I was with some group of people in the last election and some people had been promised a particular position if Atiku wins, they reached out to me and promise me something to work for them and be rewarded based on what they are also expecting.

As regards building bridges, if the southwest insist on producing the president for 2023, the should use the bridge they build in 2015 and 2019 to cross while the other Southern regions build their own bridge for 2023

On your second paragraph, I really don't understand what u mean but let the most marketable person from the south gets it, but I bet Southsouth even have some marketable personalities than southeast because u people will likely destroy any candidates that has deep political relationship outside your area by tagging him aslicker of the North or gutter washer of the oil soup people.

PhonesRe: Eu Wants Every Phone To Have Same Charger – Including Iphone by seunfly:
emae009:
nice!... you're explaining how superfast charging is achieved with great speed with the split cells and all that.
Fast charging degrades battery faster. Battery technology is not yet matured to mitigate that. There's was a time where phone companies where creating charging awareness like don't charge your phone unless it's 20% or less, charge to 100% once in a while not always, don't charge and use your phone; and all of that. They even went as far as making your phone slow charge once it gets to 80%.
Charging of battery is basically creates heat and heat is not good for Battery life. That's why phones with superfast charge comes with some form of cooling tech to try and reduce that effect.
In the future with the research that's going on, I think we'll be able to crack that area but it's not yet there.
Basically everything u are saying is based on old technology like I v said before.

There are some wrong things here.
1) every time u charged ur phone, u are not starting from 0%, many manufacturer calibrates phone short down level BTW 15% to 20% and phone full level BTW 80% to 90% depending on d manufacturer. Ur phone may display 0% or 100% just know it is 15/20% for 0 %display on ur phone and 80/90% for 100% on ur phone.
2) Like I told u before the latest technology is not like more voltage and Amp to battery to accelerate it charging time, rather it same speed on smaller cells, the few down side is capacity in never optimum.

3 fast charging is never hotter than ordinary charging, even though heat truly damages battery however latest fast operates almost the same way as ur normal charging.

4 There is never any cooling system for Battery in fast charging, all the liquid cooling in samsung, vapor cooling in xiaomi or tubor fan cooling in Asus is not for Battery but for the Socs.

Why do you doubt they won't port to USB-C? If the law is pass, they will have 24 months to decide if they want to stay in the EU market or not.
Knowing apple, they might not, instead they will introduce another dondles lightning to type c.
Although there has been talk about apple switching to type c USB since 2019, they always go back to that port.
PhonesRe: Eu Wants Every Phone To Have Same Charger – Including Iphone by seunfly:
emae009:
The lightning port can support fast charging but the battery won't achieve 80% health status in 5years. That's like one of the core idea behind each iPhone battery design and optimization. If you check most of the phones with superfast chargers have a 80% battery health after 2 years while the iPhone is around 90% (base on normal charging cycle).
if they do move to USB-C, which I doubt, I think they will still cap their fast charging below what the competition offers
No doubt battery durability is part of the reasons iPhone is reluctant but the theory of fast charging degrading battery is based on old technology, there are latest technology that does not really boost the charging perse, it split cell technology in which ur battery will be splits into two or more cells. This simply means u are not charging 5000mah instead u are charging 1000mah cells in 5 places, if it takes u 3hours to charge 5000mah, it will narrow it down to like 30 minutes to charge 5000mah, this where ur charger and port comes in.
The real reason why iPhone battery health last longer than average Android is software optimization and so many hidden things Apple does to manage the lifespan of their batteries since it is covers with warranty in certain countries. We saw example of such hidden things when they were caught for deliberately slowing down their phones through software updates. However average Android manufacturers are not concerned with that and they don't have full power on software l I ke apple.

There have been improvement over the years. From 5w to 20w that's improvement. It's not 120w nor 66w or whatever but it's an improvement nevertheless. Apple have their own doctrine of how they want their consumer products to progress. You can't be using other phone manufacturers' doctrine to judge the iPhone.

Also, Samsung don't fabricate chips for Apple or Google... Just last year is the first time they did for Qualcomm (SD888).
The improvement is very slow and like I said partly thanks to Lightning port even though that is not the only reason, instead apple is looking at portless iphone as soon as their wireless technology has improve enough.

Samsung as always manufactured Apple's chip until 2013 when Tsmc started doing it and I think they also did briefly in 2017, Samsung also manufacture google tensor chip and the latest snapdragon.
PhonesRe: Eu Wants Every Phone To Have Same Charger – Including Iphone by seunfly: 11:11am On Sep 24, 2021
emae009:
Lightning port is Apple's proprietary design. Most of their other products have been moved to USB-C port but they just can't give up on their own in-house design and creation.
It's like Samsung not giving up on Exynos chips even after years and years of not so good performance but they keep working and improving on it
Yes u are correct except that there is no improvement and they are also making money from it unlike samsung exynos that is under going improvement and a matter of pride. Samsung can't be fabricating Chips for Apple, google and Co and their own chips lays idle.

One of the reasons why iPhone hardly has any significant improvement in fast charging is partly due to lightning port slow data transfer.

They had no choice on the iPad and MacBook because they will be shooting themselves in the foot.

60-year-old vice president buys football club, plays himself and appoints himself as captain

Politics and football don’t mix.

That’s the opinion of many football fans who don’t like it when a footballer shares their political view or when political gestures are seen on a pitch.

Shame nobody told Suriname Vice President Ronnie Brunswijk.
Brunswijk has been in his political position since 2020.

And he decided one of the first things he’d do in his position of power was to buy a football club - Inter Moengotapoe. Incidentally, the side one of his sons plays for.

We say ‘one of his sons’ because, according to a New York Times profile, he has “at least 50 children.”

Their profile reads: "an elite paratrooper, a soccer player, a wanted bank robber, a guerrilla leader, a gold baron and a father to at least 50 children during his lifetime."

The perfect man to buy a football club, then.

But Brunswijk is far from just the owner.

That’s because, on Tuesday, the 60-year-old decided to play himself in the CONCACAF League, North America and the Caribbean's version of the Europa League, against Honduras side Olimpia.

Not only that but he made himself captain and played for 54 minutes.

Brunswijk’s side lost 6-0, while Wikipedia claims he completed 14 of his 17 attempted passes.

The story doesn’t end there.

Brunswijk also named the home stadium after himself and was seen handing out $100 notes in the opposition dressing room after the match.
However, any hopes that he would inspire an incredible comeback in the second leg have been dashed by Interpol.

That’s because, according to Marca, he’s wanted for ‘drug trafficking’ and can’t leave Suriname.

What a story…

The new AMCON law permits AMCON to take over any cash or/and asset you have even if you didn't pledge them as collateral. That AMCON 2021 both the executive under PMB and legislature under Sen Lawn partnered to birth is a revolutionary law and I pity anyone hoping to get bank loan and default, he or she will lose big time! Cash in other banks and assets anywhere in the country can be overtaken by AMCON once you default
Those loans were not his own, Bukola Saraki took those loans with Shonga farm deal, used his influence through Sanusi to install his boy memud Alabi as the MD of intercontinental bank, buried the loan and cleared d debt. The loan case was reopend in 2013 when Saraki fought with PDP and it was used to punish him.

My problem with the guy is that he had made enough money since that time to repay the debt but he refused because those houses taken by Amcon put together can't equate the loan amount, I don't know of those in Lagos but the Abuja houses put together is not up to 2Billion.

Imagine imagine one house in Kubwa, gbazango layout which can't be more than 50 million, another one in Apo resettlement which can't be more than 200 million and the one in In kiyami which is still bush unless it is up to 50 hectares and above.
