shaiguy: Please what could be responsible for this in my bull mastiff's eye? How do I treat this? It's called cherry eye, it can be managed permanently by surgery. Although you can temporarily apply warm compress in order to replace the bulge (prolapse) to its normal location and also apply eye ointment. |

Najdorf: What can someone do about an uncooperative dog? He isn't violent except he feels threatened but he refuses to be caged, bathed, leashed, does not allow us put on the mouth guard for him, refuses injections etc He will simply run away once he notices you trying to do any of these things. He is around 3 years old and he seems to have mastered the few tricks(e.g luring him with food) we would use to get him to do some of the above things.
I know this is partly due to how we raised him, but is there anything we can do at this point? Reorientation and retraining is the solution for now |

Anunderdogg: Hi Seun,
I hope you are having a good day. My dog accidentally swallowed a huge bone while chewing on it, it's been days now that she has refused to eat. She regurgitates and salivates, I suspect she has an inflamed esophagus, what do you think and any recommend home remedy.
I hope to read from you soon. My sincere advice is a Vet clinic ASAP. Let thorough examination be done
Thank you.

OtunbaBlack: Good evening doc, I have 16 weeks old cane corso, I noticed it’s shedding hair. I was advised I need to give him multi vitamins and cod liver oil. He is very active and goes about his day normally. But I’ll like to fix this issue and get him to be fresh. Good morning sir, have you checked for the possibility of mange, if you observe or suspect mange. Then get an acaricidal bath like Armitraz® and bath her once a month. And also see your Vet if ivermectin administration is necessary |

SMILEBUX: Hi Dr. Thank you for always being there for us. My Dog is always aggressive towards stranger s and also to neighbor when they come close to my door or my property and when the dog play with children the play is too hard what can I do to reduce the aggressiveness. Thank you It may be his nature is genetic. Just be tender and loving towards him. Then ensure he stays around people much and if possible let him sleep in the house. If it isn't genetic, you would see changes |
