3 minute YouTube video at what resolution? Check, the higher the resolution, the more data used. If you really want to manage your data and still at least get manageable video quality, set resolution to 360p, you can try 240p or even 144p if it's good for your eyes .

there are a couple you can try. Uc browser, Uc turbo, brave, cm browser and so on

I'll suggest that you switch to a lighter browser and limit your time on Instagram. As shown by the evidence, you're the one using the data and not some background activities on the phone. Also restrict/disable internet accessibility for some apps like your keyboard and your launcher

For all. Ot will ensure thst apps don't consume data unless you lunch them. Down side is your social media notifications will not popup unless you lunch the app. Go to sim settings>>Data settings

My exact expectation when I was buying iPhone 6s that year. Was disappointed when I discovered it has "screen flash" not front flash. I hated the phone instantly, until I discovered phones wit front flash can't light up your face during video call. Also, modern phones don't have front flash again, but screen flash.
So to ans ur question.... No, you cans illuminate your face with sane device you are using for video call, you have to opt for external light source (reasons I don't understand myself)
