Axis313: Why can't she change her name from Habibat?abi there's no better female Christian name again. Most of these apostates always cling to their Muslim names,if they can dump Islam why can't they dump it completely by changing their names?
who told you habibat is islamic or religion name? Check the meaning, it's just an Arabic word, with its meaning, and have nothing to do with religion.
mysticwarrior: For decades, the United States has proudly proclaimed, "We do not negotiate with terrorists." It has branded Iran a sponsor of terrorism, imposed crippling sanctions, rallied allies against it, and used that label to justify years of political and economic pressure.
Yet today, the same United States finds itself sitting across the negotiating table from the very nation it has spent decades condemning.
So what became of the principle that America claimed was non-negotiable? Was it truly a matter of principle, or merely a convenient slogan invoked when it served strategic interests and quietly abandoned when circumstances demanded otherwise?
If negotiating with Iran is now acceptable, then the world is left to ask: was the policy ever about terrorism at all, or has it always been about power, leverage, and political convenience?
the issue from day one is Iran must not have nuclear weapons and must stop uranium enrichment, trump ensured that now, so let there be peace.
blamingthedevil: Kwankwaso is doing more for Tinubu's political project than anyone could have imagined. Congratulations in advance to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—come 2027, we're expecting a landslide win.
Reports indicate that tensions are rising within the Kano State chapter of the NDC following claims that the party's leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, declined to approve a proposed list of candidates said to be heavily dominated by members of the Kwankwasiyya bloc.
According to the Kano NDC spokesperson, Ibrahim Waya, Senator Dickson has instructed Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to ensure compliance with an earlier agreed 60/40 power-sharing arrangement between the Kwankwasiyya faction and the existing NDC structure in the state.
The reported decision has sparked debate within the party, with members of the old NDC structure allegedly expressing concerns that the Kwankwasiyya camp is seeking to exert disproportionate influence over key party positions and candidate nominations.
Sources within the party suggest that the rejection of the candidate list could further intensify internal disagreements and complicate efforts to maintain unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development has also renewed discussions about the future stability of the NDC in Kano, as both factions continue to negotiate issues relating to party leadership, candidate selection, and organizational control.
lie, there's nothing like NDC in Kano before rabiu Musa join the party, therefore he is the head of the party in Kano.
yarimo: Gawuna miscalculated in this one , the same senatorial ticket he was offered in APC by governor Yusuf and other APC stakeholders and he was claiming he is too big for that. he allowed Kwankwaso to fool him with governorship ticket to decamp from APC. Gawuna I thought you are a smart politician
lie, ganduje will never allow gawuna to contest for senate under APC, even he was not happy he goes mallam way.
seunmsg: Gawuna is such a loser. He could have stayed back in APC and get the Kano Central ticket easily. There is absolutely no way he’s going to defeat Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau Kano central.
As for Gwarzo, I’m sure he knows he’s going nowhere near the Kano government house. The election will be a walkover for APC from top to bottom. As it stands, there is no opposition in Kano.
dey play ⏯️, you will soon dance your dance, very soon.
"PURCHASING POWER" BASED ON FUEL SUBSIDIES AND A CHAOTIC DUAL EXCHANGE RATE THAT DISCOURAGED INVESTMENT AND SIMPLY LED TO ARBITRAGE, IS WHAT LED THE COUNTRY TO THIS CRISIS IN THE FIRST PLACE.
BORROWING $10 BILLION A YEAR FOR FUEL SUBSIDIES IS WHAT GAVE YOU YOUR "PURCHASING POWER".
MR POWER.
but in the past the president protest against those policies, why?

nairalanda1: You guys should stop blaming the Power minister for power problems in Nigeria
UNtil all of you NIgerians are ready to pay cost reflective tarrif, they can make Jesus christ minister of power and we will still be in darkness.
POwer has been privatised since 2013, and all your goverments since then have been starving it of funds in the name of keeping power cheap. You people also clap for those who chase away people that come to disconnect those that steal power.and you hail the power theives..and meter bypassers......and you expect light?
You can abuse me now, but facts is facts...and yes, I do not like the power minister, na politican, but facts is facts.
I mean in 2013, GEJ had a professor of electricity in charge of the ministry, yet we were having groid collapses and power issues, because of lack of cost reflective tarrif
I mean until band A came along, all the country was underpaying for power. ANd after band A came, na only 20% of the country wey dey pay for power at cost reflective rate, the rest underpay and now 20% don't even pay for the power they use.
Even then NTEL, the government run GSM company, at once point, MTN and econet were charging twice of what NTEL was charging....which meant they could afford better services compared to NTEL...which crashed. Today it exists as a phoenix company that only offers internet service.
upon all this your long story you seem not to understand the meaning of government.

And people like it that way, as do your politicans...meaning no money or investment to improve things (if you had a billion dollars, you go put am for power supply, where you won't see ROI because people think that electiricty must be free of charge).
So at the end, you end up in darkness.
And again, until cost reflective tarrifs are in place, or until you are ready to tolerate borrowing of up to 20-30 trillion naira annually for at least 5 years, ie at most 150 trillion naira over 5 years to fix things, nothing will change.
And yes, there is corruption, because when you starve a business of its right to set prices, they will make money by wuru wuru ways. And yes, that is why you have to buy wires , poles and transformers, because most of you don't want to pay the cost reflective tarrif that would enable the discos and gencos buy all that and fix it for you.
See the problem? Oh no, na to blame generator people, and even Atiku self..lol. As if Atiku dey sell all the generators for nigeria.
Never ever support a government like tinubu that believes in setting prices.
I mean, see our telecoms sector. When it was NITEL, and when people were paying government price, the sector was bad. Then GSM came in and service improved because GSM companies were allowed to charge cost reflective tarrifs.
Even then NTEL, the government run GSM company, at once point, MTN and econet were charging twice of what NTEL was charging....which meant they could afford better services compared to NTEL...which crashed. Today it exists as a phoenix company that only offers internet service.Upon all this your long story, you seem not to understand the meaning of government.
ponziponzi: You are lazy. If you took a few minutes to do your research instead of asking Grok, you will know that the PM of India, President of Brazil, Chancellor Olaf of Germany and many African Presidents have visited Nigeria in the last 2 years. Are you living under a rock?
No he is not from Abeokuta, maybe he's living in the forest.
BATified2023: so it's tinubu fault that there's a glitch?
One thing I understand about Nigeria is that truly uneasy lies the head that wears the crown, Elon musk the richest man in the world owns X and despite all the money invested in it still had technical glitch
Many times twitter is down and people also feel stranded but in Nigeria once anything happens just blame the president even if it involves common sense. Who do you want us to blame? The president is very powerful and the buck stops on his table, moreso jamb not needed anymore in our system.
9jawazobia: they will all participate in the primary and a anybody that wins is good nobody is stepping down for anyone.. if you want power you fight for it.. try to understand that
Good the mission is to sent out incompetence and nepotism, we are tired of APC, and lie, lie,
Parachoko: If OBJ did all the things Asiwaju is doing now, and other past presidents continue from where he stop, Nigeria would have been competing with South Africa, Algeria, Morocco etc in terms of development
if,if, and if tinubu have done all this things in Lagos during his time , Lagos will look like new York, lazy govt, since APC led by tinubu grab power, what is their achievement? Ask people Obj and others past presidents are far better before the coming of APC.
smallsmall: Was it not when A-10 Helicopter Gunships supporting the ongoing ground Invasion first got shot down, that these two rescue Helicopters when to look for the Crew of the A-10, and they too got shot down?
Which excuse are you talking about again? clearly we shall see, very soon. They even blew all the Bridges leading to the island they want to seize, so that the Iranians will not be able to engage them in a fight! Cowardice is not American, what happened?
They think they can just fly freely in their enemy's airspace without consequence.
The US can be so arrogant and stupid. What were they expecting? Rescue mission kee all of una there. BLOODY TERRORISTS.
oga, US are just looking for excuses to invade Iran seriously and portrayed then before the world as dangerous and Iran are falling for the trap, soon US will say they were looking for their pilots that's the reasons for the ground invasion.
