All this gibberish doesn't change the fact that Buhari's brutal and bloody regime is the worst disaster that has ever befallen Nigeria. Buhari has destroyed Nigeria beyond redemption
can we refer to the current security and economy situation also as broken jinxes?

And does it look like Nigeria is progressing to you?

Every successive government since 1999 has been abysmal.

That's why Nigerians look back and praise the previous government.

Mark my words, if there's an election in 2023, after a few years into 2023, Nigerians will begin to miss Buhari's administration.

It's not a curse. It's a statement of fact.

As terrible as Jonathan's era was, you see people today talking about Jonathan as if he was an outstanding leader.

During Jonathan's period, people looked back and praised Obasanjo, that he was firm and Boko Haram would never have seen the light of day. People were even blaming themselves for not allowing Obasanjo to pursue his third term agenda.

During that same Obasanjo's time, there were people who looked back with nostalgia at Abacha's time.

So, the next administration will be worse than Buhari's own. Take that to the bank.

Nigerians have a very very short memory.
oga, nobody will ever compare this regime with past government except those who benefits from this administration.

There are no more than 5 million people in Abuja, the remainder 210 million people are scattered across the 36 states, 776 Local Governments, The Federal Government did not appoint the 36 Governors & 776 council men like it was done under the Military, now in our democrazy, power belongs to the people, the problem with most Nigerians is that they do not understand the system of Government they practice, since all they did was copy & paste their system of Government.
so, the president is only for Abuja?

Almijiri that is why he is called the number one man of your state, your state is more important than the federal to you, when you realize that, you will stop chasing shadows, how many Federal Ministries do you have in your Local Government? How can The Federal Government assist you in that your hamlet to make your life better? The Local Government will create jobs based on the comparative advantage of area, you will not go & create mining jobs in a riverine area.
but the president have more power than the states, or the presidency are hopeless and powerless about what going on in the states?

Charity they say begins @ home, what is the duty of your Governor, like I said you are no different from an Almijiri from Daura, is your Governor accountable to anyone from Northern Nigeria, or to you his people? Mention just 1 way your Governor & Local Government has empowered your life since May 29th 1999?
and that's why we are calling the number one citizen to do something!!!

then what is the duties of the president?

No Nigerian politician since 1999 is a patriot.

They are all rogues.

If they had done what they were supposed to do, people like Buhari would never ever have smelled the presidency.

Politics / Re: Kaduna LG Election: El-Rufai Loses Polling Unit To PDP by sevenhundred(m): 7:59pm On Sep 04, 2021
Deltafirstson:
Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has lost the Saturday’s chairmanship and councillorship elections in his polling unit to the main opposition, People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

El-Rufai voted at his Polling Unit 001 Ungwar Sarki, Kaduna North local government area where he said his target was not to win all the polls but to improve the voting process using the Electronic Voting Machine.

According to the result announced by Muhammad Sani, Presiding Officer of the Unit, El-Rufai’s All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 62 votes in the chairmanship election while Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 86 votes out of the 159 votes cast.

In the councillorship election, APC polled 53 votes while PDP polled 100 votes out of 162 total votes cast.

While voting earlier, El Rufai had said: “We are not going to behave like other parties or other state government of the ruling party. We will allow the people of Kaduna State to elect who they want.

“We do not have to win everywhere, though we have worked for the people of Kaduna State, they have seen our foot print, the govt and the local government everywhere, they have seen and we are confident that all reasonable minded people will vote for our party, our candidate because they know we are committed to the welfare of the people”.

“We don’t believe in cheating, we don’t believe in rigging election but also we don’t believe that other people should cheat us. And that is why we encouraged SIECOM to come up with a very improved system and am impressed with the whole thing.

“Technology is key to minimising cheating in election, unless we have credible election we can never have good leaders, accountable leaders and that is why we are committed, even if it means we are going to lose in some areas, this is democracy, it is a gradual process.”

The overall result of the Kaduna North Local Government was however being awaited as at the time of filing this report.

Okay, enjoy your Buhari. cheesy

People who do nothing get leaders from APC and PDP to chop their money.

Recently I read about one corper who acted as an election officer for INEC in one of the states. Before the election, all the voters in his area were saying 'Government bad'...guess who they all voted for...the same government and then after they will say 'Election was rigged'.

You guys want money to chop. Development you know not.

so, you only think Buhari is the problems? Sorry, I said earlier we have structural issue and only split can solved.

What stops you from holding your leaders accountable now?

The problem is you guys think that holding your leaders accountable involves saying 'buhari is a failure' (not that he isn't, he actually is a failure).

But do you know who your governors and LG chairmen are?

If you cannot hold them accountable...in addition to Aso Rock...you think things will change in the new country you are claiming?

The thing is, and this is one thing I have noticed...many of the people criticisng Buhari now, kept quiet when GEJ was messing up, likewise, many of the people who were blasting GEJ are now big time Buhari supporters..and parisesingers.

You guys see politics and governance as a means to chop. Not as a means to develop. You want new countries because you want to 'threaten the North' in the same way the North used sharia and islminsim to threaten the South.

All for your pocket.

You don't have to wait till you get ODUDUWA or Biafra republic before you question what your LG OR GOVERNOR is doing about your money. So start doing that now. Don't complain to me. I'm not in government or a Northerner.

Besides, how does new country solve the problem of paying health workers a decent salary? I know you guys...you will fight over oil money to fund your lifestyles. And in years, your new countries would be in debt.
how can you hold any leaders accountable now? when everything is all about tribe and religion? endsars is an example, how many core north participate? all because of tribal or religion affiliations.

Nigeria is not dead. Nigeria would never die. And yes, I don';t like Buhari and APC too

Nigeria is suffering because we use the wrong economic model. We sell raw materials for $20 billion, and import things worth 30 billion...and go into debt as a result.

Meanwhile the industrialised nations buy our raw materials...and make producits worth $100 billion...and sell part of it to us for $30 billion

And we also spend billions on subsidies, which make it unproftable for refining of oil, and for production of power...because we have to help the poor...by tilitng the country into more and more debt.

We set up businesses to sell imported stuff instead of using our education to make them stuff.

We suppoort people who steal from the country...from the men and women at the top to the people who don't pay their power bills at the bottom

And you think that if we split the country, the problems will go away? When the same things happen at state and LG level?

You complain about Buhari...yet Buhari could only come from a nation of Buharis...which is what we all are.

Better wake up and smell the flowers.

If we split this country...there will be war . Endless war for resources and control of tribes, and so on. There is no African country that has peacefully split.
what you failed to understand is that if we split the country, it will be easier to hold your leaders accountable, nobody will now talk about tribe or religion!!! because that's our major problems now!!!

People should stop hyping this "graduate" nonsense.

Because you graduate from a university doesn't mean you are employable.

The quality of education in Nigeria has fallen drastically.

Many so-called graduates bribed lecturers and paid their way through before they could graduate.

Many even slept with lecturers to pass.

So, being a graduate doesn't mean shiit anymore these days.

Imagine a university graduate that doesn't know the meaning of NYSC, JAMB, PPA, or even POP. Yet he/she would call him/herself a graduate.

Many of the graduates out there can't defend their certificates and that's an uncomfortable fact.
just because you are a graduate you must know everything?

Visit the arab world, you never see a Muslim in coat or listening to pop music, even in northern Nigeria, you can never see muslims dressing in western clothings...we believe in our traditions and way of life.
maybe you live in isolated part of the world, if you say"how many Muslim in coat or listening to pop music, we can never see Muslims in Western clothes"

What we are talking about here is western influence in culture, religion and traditions, these are the foundations of a society which the western culture is trying to influence with secularism.

Btw, You didn't make sense about product and technology because these things aren't free of charge, they advertise it and if you are interested, you buy it with money.

Buying western products and technology is a choice
so listening to their music and buying, wearing their clothes should be optional too.

Consider 4 governors took this decision together. All 4 are stupid? The security agencies that advised them on this are stupid. So, what better option do you think the governors have.
