no i do not think it's self hatred.if you want to perm your hair, then that's you.
i don't think afros are ugly, i just can't pull off the look and i would rather have something more manageable perming my hair gives me the ability to put my hair in many different styles. Do you also think, its self hatred that a lot of white women dye their hair, wear weaves, and get botox and tan? Instead of fizzy brown or black hair and pale skin?

here are some reasons

1 They no longer feel satisfied in their current relationship and are too cowardly to end the relationship.
2 They like various sex partners
3 They need to feel desired and their partner does not fulfill that need.
4 their spouses might not be interested in doing the sexual things the men want to try out [e.g. oral, greek, etc.
5 poor communication
6 They crave the initial excitement of a secret affair
7 Some cheat because they don't take their relationships seriously.

Why Do You Think Over %70 Of Black Ladies In America Are Single?

I think that so many are single due to a lot of factors. One is that, media & magazines do favor the skinny white Blondie female lighter eyes, fair skin etc, Young black boys look at men's magazines and only see white women and light skin black women with straight hair or weaves/relaxers. Attitudes is another reason, the biggest stereotype about black is that we have bad attitudes. Of course not all do but some have that ghetto loud bitter/angry attitude which any sensible man is not going to find attractive. another thing is that, white women stealing all the decent black guys, and we won't settle for a crappy man.
