A man owned a small farm in Arkansas . The Arkansas Wage & Hours Department claimed he was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to interview him. "I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them", demanded the Agent. "Well," replied the farmer, "there's my farm hand who's been with me for 3 years. I pay him $400.00 a week plus free room and board. The cook has been here for 18 months, and I pay her $300.00 per week plus free room and board. There's the half-wit. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10.00 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of Bourbon every Saturday night. there is none worth dying for but plenty who are worth living for. the person you are willing to die for better be worth the agony you will be leaving to those who also love you. ie: parents siblings children and grandparents. |

French and British media reported the woman will soon give birth to six girls and six boys. A Health Ministry official in Tunisia said on Tuesday the claim seemed doubtful and that the woman - who has not been identified - has refused to see a doctor for an ultrasound. Another Health Ministry official said a team was sent to the southern town of Gafsa to try to meet the woman. The officials asked not to be named as they are not authorised to speak publicly about the case. Earlier, the Echourouk newspaper reported the woman, identified only by her initials of A.F. and said to be in her 30s, was from the southern region of Gafsa. "She is doing well and so are her future babies," it said. Her husband added: "She is very happy and is anxiously waiting to see all 12 bouncing healthily in her hands." The woman has had two abortions and the children will be her first, reports said. |
