I'm reading how a lot of posters are berating the nanny for not risking her life. I don't say this often on Social media but u are all fools.

I have watched enough documentary and read enough news article to know tht at the end of the day a dog is no different from a wolf and once it goes rabid or is in need of blood it can kill an adult.

Kindly go to daily mail.co.uk and read some articles on dogs and how they kill. Pls find some below;

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-181647/Baby-killed-dog.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3132523/Three-week-old-baby-died-bitten-terrier-dog-Sunderland.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3133697/Newborn-baby-girl-bitten-face-family-dog-horrific-attack.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2699703/Dog-attacks-kills-7-month-old-baby-Ohio.html

Pls people, especially dog lovers or those who think that they know dogs, kindly read up more on animal psychology before u bring them into ur family especially people with kids. If u were not all in a hurry to blame the nanny, u would have read where d husband warned d wife about d seeming strange behaviour of d dog.

Pls people know d specie or cross breeds of the dogs u are keeping. They have killed a lot of people.

A word is enough for d wise.

Family / Re: Her Six Months Old Baby Gazes Sternly At Her During Sex- She's Worried. by seyi42k(m): 10:39am On Feb 27, 2015
One thing everybody failed to bring up is respect.

The OP disrespected herself and her child. The main reason the OP created a thread was to find justification, maybe getting a simple average opinion of the pros and cons and justify herself. If the child grows up to have a "comma" as it were, the OP would berate herself as she may not be able to say in all confidence that she did not contribute to the harm done to the child and the tragedy is she might not even remember that such seemingly innocuous act might bring future ruin.

If you treated your child as a person with a living soul as created by God or at least a moral being (if u are an atheist), you would have considered far reaching repercussions on the child. Your child seem fascinated by your actions and is attracted to the sense of excitement & pleasure you derive from that action and senses the glow on you after the act. Before long the child would understand that this acts makes you particularly euphoric and through the bond between both of you, starts looking out for signs preceding the act in the bid to further understand what is going on.

Even if other posters are right that the child cannot understand, you fail to realise that you might be blessed with a precocious child, wise beyond his/her age and by you post, already stares 'intently' when you are in the act. This also presupposes that since you have come to notice this, your own subconscious is ringing a bell and it's already affecting you. Not only that your post suggest a recurring theme because if it was once or twice, you would have dismissed it but your post suggest alarm. If in addition to being precocious, the child is also introverted or taciturn, the child might just file the actions in the mind for further investigation and might not bring it up with you which might give you a false sense of security.

Now imagine what will happen if, God forbid, you have an house help or someone who is a predator, rather than the child raise alarm or show signs of distress, he or she might come to enjoy such an assault or see it has natural because he/she might remember that the act brought you pleasure and therefore is not bad.

For those saying the child cannot remember at that age, please note that we can remember a lot of things under hypnosis even actions at a very tender age. Even a child's sense of smell can be associated with certain things that will trigger the memory at other times. You should also go on youtube to see a lot of wonder that children can do at a very tender age. Infact, if our parents had access to camcorders and had the mind to record our actions at a very tender age, even we will be surprised at some of the things we did or come to understand some of the things we are doing now.

I am saddened by the levity with which the OP has treated this matter. If you behave like this in front of your first child, imagine when you have other children and you are not around, what do you think might be going behind your back or what do yo think might happen if you send your child to boarding school or anywhere else with that kind of subconscious trapdoor.

Well, I hope you are not joyfully digging ditch which might sorrowfully cave in and bury an innocent. Just imagine, if your parents were to walk in on you with your child staring at both of you in the act, what would be the judgement. I think you would receive a resounding slap, either physical or emotional.

TL:DR - The OP is creating a subconscious emotional trapdoor in the child which if properly associated with sound, smell, feeling etc by the child can be triggered in the future to further investigation by the child and the OP may unfortunately not be there to correct.

Guys, why are we all behaving like primary school children.

Have you ever heard of Good cop, Bad cop strategy to interviewing. Anybody that does any funny petition might lose opportunity for advancing to the final interview.

What you faced from the interviewer is what you might likely face in a place of work with pompous and short tempered bosses especially those under pressure from some kind of target. If in doubt ask your friends who work in Banks especially those with female bosses.

The interviewer might have been specifically asked to create such atmosphere and see how interviewees respond. Like someone said, his good response mellowed the interviewer. I can reasonably assure you that the guy has passed.

Never react negatively to an interviewer especially one that might be having a bad day. Your response might just land you a coveted job out of a lot of people jostling for the job. If anyone fails this interview, do not blame the interviewer, rather seek to learn what you did wrong and improve as this could be a dress rehearsal for a Shell interview you will pass.

For your information, I faced the same interviewer for my Zonal Interview and I found him abrupt. However, due to my previous experience, I tried to be as nice as possible by answering his question on time and smiling. Afterall, I am the one searching for work and considering the fact that I made to the final stage, all was well.

Therefore, if you cannot handle heat from an interview panel of two, just imagine going to Abuja and facing 4 to 5 Executive Directors. One of the EDs grilled me because I could not name states under the southwest zonal office, an oversight I pray will not be costly. Yet I learnt a very good lesson from that. If you are well prepared, let the interviewer carry fire, you will acquit yourself well and if you are not successful, you will know that it was another criteria unknown to you that eliminated you, not your technical know how.

Lastly, most government parastatal such as NNOC, NERC, NUC, NCC, NAFDAC etc are known using private sector standard of recruitment process, therefore don't expect to be patted on the head. Prepare for them as if you are going for a shell interview and you will pass in flying colours after which Nigerian factor allowing, you will be chosen.

You can go to the previous NNPC thread to see some applicants with no connection that were chosen. I also got to the final stage but was not chosen.

Regards.

It is with trepidation that I read some poster's comment. For those saying that the FG will frustrate MTN, Shoprite etc's businesses, please note that Nigeria does not operate in a Vacuum.

Remember what our Igbo brothers and other traders are going through in Ghana. Glo, Dangote, our banks all have interest all over Africa. If we start a precedence of taking over businesses of other countries' companies especially after breaking their laws, that is when you all we know we ordinary giANT of Africa. Note that we are signatories to treaties covering money laundering to international trade.

Think of examination bodies who have their exams outside Nigeria, of birth tourism our married ladies embark on (even to East/South African countries), of Holidays (Nigerians will rather go to kenya Safari than Obodu) etc

We are unnecessarily arrogant. Look at the raw deal meted out to the son of Aisha Falode & Alameisigha in Dubai as well as other less popular Nigerians without anything happening. What happens if in the future, things happen to Nigerians living in South Africa just like synagogue's, what moral or diplomatic authority will we have then to insist on fairness and the rule of law.

Please tone down the rhetorics in your post. It is only the evil minded that gloats over things like this. As for poster who have hard evidence that the weapons were to be purchased for Boko Haram, ask the FG what it has done with over 4 trillion Naira budget on defence in the last four years that spending $15m now became so important.

Well, the Bible says that "my people perish for lack of knowledge...". I hope that as a nation/people we are not already on this path.

Make i no talk again ooo

Catching me is not the issue. Like someone said, this is just week 7. This is my 3rd season and I seek to continually become a better football analyst. As for owning players like Costa, Fabregas, Di Maria and co, I hope that Fpl managers in their search for differentials don't punish themselves.

I use a form strategy for choosing my players, e.g. in chelsea who is in form Fpl wise (Costa & Fabregas) choose them, in search of differential choose Hazard. As an Arsenal fan, I know when Wenger will run a player into the ground. I had jettisoned Ramsey long before he got injured while some managers still held on to him based on his past form.

I also chose Henderson initially till I had to remove him to add other players from other teams, Why? because, Henderson is Liverpool's Ramsey. So, I do not actively seek out differentials and that may be the reason I will be easily caught but I can at least assure myself of consistency.

MaziOmenuko:
GameWeek 6 Review

This week's gameweek review will be done by distinguished managers of the Nairaland fantasy league. I humbly invite the following to do a review for us:

1. Current league leader, seyi42k of Intelligesia.

2. Current manager of the week, myuhil of Gbongan FC

3. Newcomer, Nwikys of Nwikys Victors

The two areas expected to briefly discuss are:

A. Captain choice
B. Potential cleansheets

Well, thanks for the honour. I will suggest that you allow nominated managers write their thoughts on each gameweek rather choose the areas of discussion as it might not be their main strength. Also, I believe it should be called a preview and not a review.

Like I said above, the two areas of discussion are not really my main focus,i.e. if you go through my previous gameweeks, you will see that I do not get as much points from Captains as I ought be getting (bar the Costa gameweek) and my cleansheet record usually not significant.

However, why am I currently topping:
1. Have a wide range of forums to discuss FPL, i.e. through facebook, twitter, online forums etc. I am mostly a twitter person and follow a lot of good fpl accounts where I aggregate a lot of information for each gameweek.

2. Be prepared to make you own decisions. Even when big fpl twitter accounts suggested Hazard, Mata & Erikssen, I decided against them due to several reasons. For example like I stated before regardless of Hazards dazzling skills Fabregas will always rule the roost in Chelsea's midfield as he always dominates and/or creates problems for other midfielders in his team. I read an article where it was explained that Barca suffered when it tried to shoehorn Fabregas into its balanced midfield which led to problems for Iniesta and that was why he was sold and may also explain Wenger's reluctance to buy him.

Just like last week showed, Mata is usually the first scapegoat in ManU's midfield. Even when Rooney is sometimes out of form, he is often preferred to Mata. I would have expected LVG to bring in Mata for Di Maria yet he opted for Januzaj and only bring in Mata when it was too late.

As for Eriksen, He is blowing hot and cold. Maybe its the change of manager's, the second season syndrome or inbalance in the team, he is not effective so far this season.

These are my opinion based on my own analysis, they could change or be enriched further as football is not mathematics.

3. Try and read forums of rival teams where fans of the teams rate their own players, e.g. redcafe (ManU), redandwhitekop (Liverpool), spurscommunity (Tottenham) etc to get a feel of the fans especially how they see their players. If they do not like the player, you can be certain that it will bleed through to the fans in the stadium and often times. affect the player. If you are choose an unloved player, be sure he will not play well (e.g. Gervinho in Arsenal).

4. I use either of two formations, 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. This seems to be the optimal this season so far. This is due to the emergence of a lot of goal scoring midfielders and good cheap strikers.

5. Don't be overly concerned about a clean sheet, just choose defenders and keepers who would make saves, concede a max of 2 to 3 goals and can score. a 4.5m to 5.5m defender is enough so that you can load the middle to top positions with good fpl players. One more thing, try as much as possible not to captain a defender, it is too risky.

6. Have a balance team. My opinion of a balance team is two good keepers with home & away rotation (e.g Mannone & Krul/Forster) not more than 9.5m, five defenders Preferably fullbacks) with one or two medium priced from a defensive team or a team that allows it defenders to bomb forward, Heavy Midfield with enough gurus there and Heavy top with one small priced striker. Thank God for Naismith & Ulloa.

7. Offload non performing players or out of form players even though they seem important and play week in week out, for example, Yaya Toure. I removed Ramsey because I believe Wenger is going to play till he burns out and it is already showing.

These tips, among so many, are well known by the fpl gurus here but for the newbies amongst us (of which I am one has this is my 3rd season) these tips will improve our knowledge & rankings. I should also mention luck. If you check the no. 1 fpl managers every matchday, you will discover that no amount of analysis could have given you that perfect team where everybody's star aligned and they are usually middle table managers. For example on saturday, the no 1 mgr captained Ozil, had Welbeck, Ulloa, Costa, Dimaria, and a high scoring defence. It is almost hard to predict that team, I mean I would have thought anybody captaining Ozil was taking a big risk especially given his lack of form and the presence of Rooney, Costa & Ballotelli.

Lastly, as for my captain choice this week, I am considering Dimaria based on form, Pelle based on QPR's defence and Costa based on form & Stamford bridge.

Other choices includes Welbeck but care should be taken as Sanchez coming back into Arsenal's team may disrupt the Ozil-Welbeck flow we saw last week. Sanchez is also an option for people who have him. Fabregas the assist machine etc. Other mangers should chip in and advise us.

My apologies for rambling on. Mazi, you are doing a great job as I found your posts witty and refreshing but let us tone down the rape innuedos, we might have sensitive players who may not find it funny or have suffered in the past.

As for Intelligesia, we want to win the double this year. See you at the top. Please find below my team for the week, the captain band is still under discussion though. Thank you.

Just reading through the post made me realize that this was the point our democracy went downhill when Obasanjo decided to handover power to an unfit person to lead the affairs of this nation.

In truth, he Yaradua tried to the best of his ability given his condition but that gave room for the rise of the current administration which took incompetence to an all time high in Nigeria.

I still ask myself why Obj did not deem it fit to back a Donald Duke for example but we may never understand the game he tried to play. What we do know is that his decision has unravelled most of the gains made by the country since 1999.

I agree with you completely. The fact that he isn't scoring or providing assists for FPL managers doesn't rule out his contribution to the team.He was at his brilliant best in today's match, and save for the 2 assists of cesc to costa,I would have rated him higher compared to the latter.
He s just like Silva in mancity @d moment, not scoring or providing assists, yet, his presence can't but be felt.
Mourinho won't want to do without him...believe me!
FPL managers can decide to trade him off thou
..the choice is ours.
Dhellake: Your analysis of Hazard is totally wrong, last season Hazard was given a free role which hasn't changed, if you saw todays game, you will agree, hazard was busy dribbling from left to right to centre while Fabregas was giving key passes, how then is that the coach's fault, Hazard is the ONLY player that roams freely

Well, it was my own opinion, yet I feel that with the presence of Fabregas & Rooney in their respective teams, FPL Managers will not get the best of Hazard & Mata where unlike last season their respective teams almost solely depended on them for creativity.

While Fabregas was in Arsenal, Hleb and Rosicky did not provide enough goals and assist even though they could effectively do that but become magnetic lodestone around him drawing fouls & creating nuisance to the opposition while Fabregas concentrated on delivering the balls.

I feel that, though Hazard might win a lot of MOTM this season, from an FPL perspective he might not deliver for us. Still, I think Hazard might or will be forced to curb his marauding instinct for the sake of keeping the team's shape.

Anyway, great discussion - Intelligesia

Like seriously. cheesy But sadly, over-priced folks like Terry, Hazard and Debuchy I have kept faith with all this while won't let it count. To think I'm playing -4 against an Azpekuliar fella with active wildcard. Time for serious house cleaning. For the life of me, I still don't understand how Fabregas keeps on out-scoring Hazard.

As an arsenal fan, Let me tell you why Fabregas will outscore all chelsea midfielders this season (including Hazard) due to some of the reasons below;

1. Fabregas is like fire in an enclosed space that burns out all oxygen,i.e. as long as Fabregas is allowed to dictate play in any midfield, other midfielder either plays to his rhythm or become ineffective. This means that all creativity goes thru him.

2. Mourinho will never allow Hazard to flourish as he ought to.If you notice, Hazard had a falling out with him this year over increasingly restrictive roles. In my own opinion,Hazard might never reach the height of his potential under Mourinho. Why? Mourinho loves players who are very good at just one particular trait e.g. defend, attack, pass, shoot (Ozil,Drogba,Ronaldo,Lampard) but players who can handle multiple roles (dribble/pass/create) are either wittled down to their bare fuctional minimum (Mikel) or are jettisoned without ever been maximised (Mata).

Therefore as long as Fabregas is the metronome of the chelsea team, Hazard must either become a goal poacher ala Lampard, a scorer like Schurrle, a winger like Willian but not everything. Players like Hazard are usually given room to express themselves without restriction, however that freedom is given to Fabregas and to a lesser extent Oscar. Hazard, I fear might just be an expensive spot on your Fpl team (get Snachez instead if you have the funds).

3.Fabregas is basically an assist machine and he has formed a superb partnership with Costa.

Anyway the points above are my own opinion and should not be taken as fact. The same problem posed by Hazard is the same with that of Mata. i did not choose or bother to choose Mata because of Rooney's undefined role as the first player to usually suffer Rooney's accommodation in Man U's team is Mata or Januzaj. Rooney is just an enigma or headache for Man U coaches. Due to this fact, I did not bother to choose any of them.

I will appreciate other people's thoughts on the matter.

Mukina, I am already in the main league.

Send me the code for FA Cup. I was 2nd in the FA Cup and 9th in the main League last season. My team last season was SAMBA FC.

Thx.
