HELLO HOUSE, PLS CAN WE HAVE UPDATES ON THIS THREAD - PARTICULARLY THE LAST QUERY (IN RED) PLS LET'S KEEP KEEPING IT ON . . . otobong085: |
Hello house, please can we have latest updates to all the issues mentioned above? Car Doc, where are you? Your analysis on autotrannies is really educative. Your contact details will be nice to have. |
Noticed that of all the listed, Innoson Nigeria [IVM brand] does not have its website (if any) inserted. Please OP let's have their URL so we can see what they are up to... |
Face12:The 1st & 2nd gen RAV4 both have a 2.0 L gasoline I4 (inline 4) engine configuration compared with the 4Runner's 3.0 - 3.4 L engine configs. You certainly will be better off fuel-economy-wise to consider the RAV (or Honda CRV). A premium variant of the 3rd gen [2005 - 2012) RAV4 comes with a V6 3.5 L engine size but I would not advise this unless you are ready to visit top Toyota maintenance outfits for your regular checks. The ubiquitous roadie will most likely kill your V6 unless you are extremely lucky to locate a trusted, honest and reliable one. |

I quite agree with all you contributors. For starters, Corolla & 4Runner are two different worlds. Considering the OP's terrain where plies regularly, an SUV is advisable. But as he is also worried about fuel economy (which is not too bad in the 4runner), then look at another option of a compact SUV like the 1st or 2nd generation RAV4 or CRV (each with about 2.0L engine. [You might still eat ur cake and have it tho'!] My little take. |
billy187:@OP. I quite agree with billy187. Subaru is a reliable on- and off-roader that will surprise you on trial. It's Japanese so parts aren't much of an issue. The make is quite popular as it has been around for as long as i can remember so it's not a strange ride if you are in Lagos. But i'd suggest the I4 engine type version (1.6 - 1.8L). It's OK if you consider the auto tranny option, but I won't advise you go for the V6 - it's a 3.0 L guzzler, and you may not find good mechos for that version. Consider a straight tokunbo - not naija-used and you'll enjoy your money. Good luck! |
Lesgupnigeria:I totally agree with you. Not one yet but am seriously working at it. See you there. |
Fogman:Many thanks. I will surely give you a call in the next couple of weeks. Happy Selling! |
Hi Fogman, i need a set of your HIDs for a '96 4Runner. How much will this cost? Are U based in Lagos? |

Opebigood, thx! Pls clarify more: Torch what and what are 9850 & 9860? Secondly, which Curve(?) is the full touch (capacitive) screen, and any full touch screen that I can use with Visafone? then what are your best prices for each of them? I will call you soon to pick my choice. T! |
@OP, pls which 'nigerian classification' are BB Touch 9850 & 9860? Can I configure 9850 for use with Visafone? |
H-E-L-P!!! My lady drove my 1996 4Runner 4x4 with auto tranny a short distance, stopped briefly, shifted from P to D and... no response. Switched off engine awhile, switched on, engaged R, vehicle moved a bit and then stopped in the middle of the road. It has not worked since. Had the tranny fluid replaced, checked, and still nothing. Mechanic advised replacement. I don't want to believe this. Couldnt it be an electro-mechanical fault? what component(s) need to be replaced instead of the whole assembly? Siena, et all kindly advise... |
Pls i want to know if there is market for fairly used phones and how is the margin like. |
@Poster, what are the technical or social issues with Bold 3? Why is it always less expensive than, and less favorable to Bold 2? I kind of prefer this to Bold 2 anyway. What's all the hype about this Bold 2 anyway? |
Meeeen!!! I would love to visit each of these terrific places - with all kinds of recording gadgets. Anyone interested for a trip of a lifetime? Sponsors are also welcome. |
I filled some details on the 'Contact Page' of your site, but cant confirm delivery. I need complete information on setting up and running a very good website. Kindly send more details to: ess.jay4u@gmail.com |
femmy2010: Frankly , is there an 02 Audi 80?...Beats me as well. From my little knowledge, I'm not sure the '80 was continued into the 2000s. I believe this was replaced by the 'A4' series from the very late 90s or early 2000. A citation from Siena would be most welcome here... |
