Okay. I have heard you. However, you should know that, I have been Ebay-ing long before this thread was created. I was on all China mini-importation threads. I was also on all of the major pickers' threads, especially Clone's, Justina's, and Mikky's, and I know all the issues that happened back then, which was what led to the creation of this thread, by @Pradit. Back then, I had little or no money to invest in deals, so, they were months and years of learning for me.
Btw, this moniker is 12 years old, though I've been on and off a lot.

So, yeah, I know what Wizzy and Bobo, and any other deal hunters here are talking about. Peace out!

If the bolded is the case then the purpose or aim of TLC has been defeated. Seller can as well wait until item(s) arrives the country before selling instead of advertising as TLC.

I understand, bro. Some of the bosses that don't want more competition may choose not to vouch for or be escrows for new sellers.
In that case, it is best that a new seller takes the AIN route, get popular and verified, over a period of time, before selling TLC deals.
The Technology Market is open to everybody, to create a post, sell deals, and build integrity and communication with customers, over a period time.

It's a long list, bro, and I believe that the creator of this thread, @Pradit, will make a list, soon.
Personally, I have had recent, direct dealings with only 3 deal hunters/sellers here, namely Wizzy89, Wesley80, and Oluoxide, in that order. So, they're the only ones I can, sincerely, vouch for. I've been more of an Ebay-er (with Justina), and I'm not into the OfferUp biz yet, but I buy from deal hunters when I see a good deal.

What if the person is legit but new to the thread

If the seller is new to the thread, and is selling a TLC deal,
1. The buyer needs to ask for the picker and confirm that they have a deal with them.
2. The buyer or seller can ask for any of the bosses here to be an escrow and witness between them.
The major ish is that the picker needs to be known and, deal verified, before you can trust any seller with your money.

Besides, many people advertise their deals here, without mentioning the picker. Many AIN deals are also not from Nairaland pickers either. There are also many Ebay/Craigslist deals that didn't originate from the pickers either.

So, I have only made a suggestion, not a rule. You want to curb 'audio deals'? That's one of the ways you can do that.

Boss, this rule has not been/is not being enforced YET. Until it is enforced, you can't failt the guy (or anyone else) for posting deals here.
I also maintain that, until and unless his accusers have proof that he has scammed someone here before, they are wrong for calling him names, and it's not a crime to be new on the thread, to post deals, or to sell 'audio deals' to 'new/non-existent members'. You cannot know, for sure, that it's an 'audio deal', unless you try to buy it, and the seller gives you stories that don't add up.

So, I'm suggesting that @Pradit, and the rest of the bosses here ADD it to the major rules here that
●Any deals posted on this thread must come from known USA pickers, as this thread suggests, and they must, henceforth, add the picker's name to their advertisement.(Buyers must ask for proof/links to the confirmation of the deal by the picker, from the seller)

So, let's make that a rule, FIRST, AND ENFORCE it. We move on, from there.

Ive been following up on the issue. What @Perezuche did to @Mcmayor is quite condemnable, and I hope that, soon, Perez will return, to pay the money back (N221,000 no be small money, at all).
However, same Mcmayor had a bad deal with Perez, not quite long ago. One would think that he would put his FBI second nature to good use, and not fall for Perez's antics, a second time. But, because Perez is one of the 'trusted deal hunters', he fell again. Sigh!

Anyway, both cabal and old users-turned-dealhunters, let's all get used to the fact that NEW DEAL HUNTERS, SELLERS, AND BUYERS/USERS are here to stay and do business. The sky is big enough for all the birds to fly.

Make una leave Klassiq01 alone. As far as no one has come here to say that they have been scammed, we should learn to not be quick to judge other sellers or call them names.

●It's not anyone's business asking for proof of transactions.
●Many people here run more than one account.
●Many new buyers and new users come to Nairaland to buy items every other day. Even peeps who have shops in Ikeja CV.
●Only TLC deals need vouches, and that's even if the buyer cares for it. AIN deals go on a daily basis, without any help or second opinion. I have sold items here without knowing the person by moniker, and even those I knew their moniker, i didn't go checking out their profile to know when they registered.
Let's all learn to live and let live. No need to gang gang up against somebody or bully them because they are not in your clique or are unpopular or you see them as competition.
If his (or anyone else's) deals are audio, let them eat their lies. Many of the big names here also sell audio deals. They know or sense that a deal is audio because they also do it (na thief sabi another thief's trail, on rocky paths)

All we really need on the forum is to continually warn new buyers, new sellers and new users of the possibility of fraud and fraudulent sellers and buyers. It's not anyone's business asking for transaction details, unless an actual fraud has taken place and has been reported here

Even on Craigslist and Ebay, you won't see them tagging a user as fraudulent. They only have a warning on EVERY page and ad put up, to warn buyers.
