RuyiMedicDiary: It all boils down to personal preference. There is no outright pro or con because it depends on one's personality and study technique. For someone like me who is a slow reader, it's a waste of time. I'll rather engage in group discussions on the night or morning of exams when I've done my own homework. oh, thank you so much for this bosslady. |

Greetings everyone. Please can you all contribute to share with me what group study is actually all about. Is it really a good way to share or to actually be in a group sharing ideas with fellow despite the large amount of time needed for personal study What are the advantage and disadvantage of group studying. Because to me i do personally see it as a waste of time. |

AyoII: Let her go. Once her mind has been made up, it has.. Do not beg or show any emotion. Delete any form of contact immediately (that is if you cant control yourself begging) highest it will take a week or two depending on how attached you her to move on. Then ask yourself the following questions: -How has she been of benefits or added impact to your life since you have been together? -What efforts did she put into the reletionship before it ended. Especially compared to your own effort Those questions are for you to answer just in case your don't want to let go or feels like going back.
They (female) always come up with lame excuses to break up when they are no longer interested. All those reasons there are BS. Another ni..ga might be in the picture. Might be the lil breakup she initiated for no reason. Stand your ground. Appreciated chief |

Greetings pals. Last week my girl friend sent me texts on facebook itemizing that she wants to break our relationship as a result of me not giving her my time, attention, nor chatting her frequently on social media. The things is, i am currently in school now and i barely have time for myself as my classmates i am to compete with are all brainics. and i intend studying the most prestigous course after completing a programme. my discipline is the toughest in the tertiary institution. Should i let her go or plead with her to stay since she requested for breakup. I have already explained to her yet she called me on the same ideology of breaking up with her. If i heed to what she request for, i will fall out academically and it will endanger my life. She is also in school too but my course is more complex than her. |

DonNeon: Good afternoon doc A's here....please i want to ask, at what age do you feel one is too old to go to med. school.....?
And as regards reading habit, will a person who is not very good at cramming cope studying medicine?? Hi dear, well; age should not be a determinant factor to you if realistically you want to be a Doctor. By the grace of God, i am 22 and i am patiantly waiting for my mbbs admission. So you see, age should not be an impediment to you. When you get to medical school, you will still see people older than you in the same class competing with you for higher scores. Refer the diaries of (Dr TONYE MBBS, BSC ANATOMY) (Dr RUGGEDFIGHTER) you gat to apprehend this scenerior. |

Fai8: Good day people, please don't skip. This is my first time of writing JAMB and I need advice. I got 252 in JAMB and I'm an aspirant of UI's medicine and surgery. So as not to waste a year at home, I've decided to change my course to physiology and then switch back to medicine in 200level. Am I making the right decision? I don't want to do something I'll regret. Greetings dear, i apprehend every action you have got to macquire. Sincery, my candid advice is to change to a less competitive state university that falls within your catchment areas or better still to be on a safer side, considering your jamb score, forget about federal university for now unless you`ve got strong connection outrightly as per say. change to your state of origin tertiary institution to increase your chances of getting admitted. Quit the concept of switching from another department to medicine, because this route is extremely rigorious and demanding lots of criterials. |

RuyiMedicDiary: Hi dear, I would advise against doing that. Please stick to what you get from your seniors. Different schools have their way of teaching, course content, method of grading, etc. Your seniors would give you what you need. That would prevent you from wasting your time in studying what's not necessary. All right. I sincerely commend you bosslady. |

Eben331: I don't that is right to do. Each school has their own course outlines to cover though it is similar in all schools. The best is for you to get seniors from your school.
You can't prepare for a school without another school's materials All right chief. I sincerely commend you for this. But what about in the prospectus of writing assignment and also using the acquired knowledge in definition of any terms |

Eben331: Medical and Dental students do not use CGPA grading system from 200L till graduation. It is either Distinction, Pass or Fail. They use CGPA only in 100L.
Though there is room for resit and repeat too. In my school, if you fail one or two courses (though subjects is more appropriate to use) out of the three courses, you resit after 3 months but if you fail any after resit, you repeat the class. If you fail all the three courses at first attempt, you will be advised to transfer to another department. All right, Appreciated doc. |
