Truth4eva:sometimes silence can be expensive. Dante said "The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality" |
winniz:Everything I warned you and kanu about is happening right now. How about that, bro? ![]() |
kingwiz:we all need each other bro and there are things we must get right before Biafra. |
VivianUdeogu:my sister, I am more igbo than you are and that's the truth. |

People ask me why i do not support Biafra even though i'm a proud Nwa afo; A homogenous igbo society would be as boring asf. Why? Let's overlook the pretenses for a second, and all the false sense of brotherhood. The bitter truth is that we hate ourselves. A typical igboman is more accommodatiing to a stranger he's met just for a day than a brother he's known his entire life. We feel we are in competition against ourselves always. A typical visit to any igbo village would confirm this truth. Most of the youngmen are running far away from home because most people at home would do anything to make sure they do not succeed. An igboman would prefer to help a foreigner get a job in his office than his own kin. The crab mentality is the bane of the typical igbo society. You do not need to look far to see this. You remember the Nairaland Biafrans boycott? and how many of us swore to never ever visit this forum again? and how we went ahead to start our own 'igbo' forums. ![]() Those seemingly igbo forums are a typical example of what Biafra would look like if it ever comes to pass. I followed those forums. From Biafra Republic to Ala Biafra and then Biafra town. The first few weeks every member was high on Biafra. People were trooping in like crazy. One of the forums even had up to 2000 signups in a day. Even Nairaland would be jealous of that stats. Promises were made. Loud members were ranting on how they were going to build a forum that would beat Nairaland hands down. They promised huge sums. Few weeks down the line, the forum is still active. some members joined, some couldn't bear it and bummed off. The forum remained active. More promises made and none kept. 2 months down the line, the forums have turned to graveyards. All the flare and plomp are gone. people start wondering what the hell they were doing here in the first place. all members flee and return back to the Nigerian forums they all love and leave the wonderful biafran forums to die a slow and painful death. Biafra republic that used to have 3000 members online can't even boast of 3 users online. Biafratown is really pathetic but i must commend the admin. Dude posted 3000 topics all by himself . Ala biafra is dead and gone. ![]() This is a true reflection of what biafra would look like. After the pomb and flare, the reality starts to bite and people go back to their vomits. But this time around, they might not be as lucky and the vomit might no longer be available to swallow back. Biafra is boring and i want no part of it. ![]() |

Let me make something clear here. I know that depot in question cos I live close and I have persons working there. That depot has always being on except for a few times last two years Co's of vandals. The depot didn't start operating during this administration. It was operating even before the elections. One more thing, The capital of Abia state is Umuahia not Aba.... says a lot about the article, Don it? |
PentiumPro:Must you guys always be so bush? I just reported your comments. it's an eyesore read such foolishness on a premium fora like this. |
kenonze:go put on your bra |
people don't understand simple English. He's describing his look....as in the picture. in that picture you'd see a tired looking guy that looks sexual at the same time. |
MrsPhyno:if it turns out to be false, what happens to the man's image that you've slandered? Anyway the social media bill is meant to do exactly what you've outlined. If your post if investigated and found to be false, then you'd be prosecuted. Right now theirs no law for the prosecution of malicious social media posts. |
this image would continue to hunt some people. ![]() |
and come to think that this is a current 2016 report. Are we moving forward or backwards? |
Corruption lingers at the core of many of the world's underdeveloped nations. Nigeria, the most populated country in Africa, is perceived to be the most corrupt among 60 countries evaluated, according to data from the 2016 Best Countries rankings. The rankings are a characterization of 60 countries based on a survey of more than 16,000 people from four regions. In the survey, respondents answered how closely they related each of the 60 countries to the term "corrupt." Respondents were given no further specifications of the term, so interpretation of the word "corrupt" was left to survey respondents. Elections in Nigeria face scrutiny, even though government accountability is seen as having improved. In 2015, President Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari became the first opposition party candidate to win an election. As part of his presidential campaign, Buhari promised to crack down on corruption. "When you fight corruption, it fights back," Nuhu Ribadu, the former chairman of Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, said in a TedX talk in Berlin. [READ: Explore the rankings, data, video and news from Best Countries.] Nigeria's former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki, is scheduled to face trial on charges of fraud and money laundering, according to Bloomberg. It is the country's first high-profile corruption trial since Buhari took office. In November, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari attributed this incident – and other alleged abuses of power – to the country's inability to defend itself from other threats, including Boko Haram, an extremist group that began its conquest in 2009 to create an Islamic state. Russia, seen as the second-most powerful country in the world, is also seen as the sixth most corrupt. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Colombia – a country synonymous with illegal drug kingpins like Pablo Escobar – gives Nigeria a run for its money as the second most corrupt country, based on perception. Below are the 10 countries perceived to be the most corrupt, according to data from the 2016 Best Countries rankings. Country Name Corrupt Rank Best Countries Overall Rank Nigeria 1 57 Colombia 2 49 Iran 3 58 Pakistan 4 56 Mexico 5 27 Russia 6 24 Algeria 7 60 Egypt 8 39 Kazakhstan 9 55 Bolivia 10 54 http://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2016-02-11/10-most-corrupt-countries-ranked-by-perception cc lalasticlala |

plaetton:all we are dealing with here are heresays from the mum. they child has not come out to say anything. Nobody has collaborated the mums stories. Anyone can come out and say anything. you don't convict people based on hearsays. We need evidence that the child was actually molested. that's all we are asking for. |
Trash. This is the reason why I support the social media act. You don't have any proof, no witnesses, no alibi, no one to correspond your suspicions and accusation and all what you do is come to social media with a mans image...accusing him of nefarious acts that are unproven yet!! This is someone's father, husband, friend, brother. There's a lot at stake here. The man's job, image, relationship, reputation. Everything is at stake all because someone decided to use social media to taint someone else's image. it could be anyone. If i have issues with you, all what i have to do is to claim you rape my daughter and come to social media with the pictures and the case is closed. Upon all the accusation that've been placed on this innocent's man's head (yes he is innocent until proven guilty) . I've not seen one concrete evidence or proof that he committed any crime. Please when will the senate push this social media act abeg? |
That guy must be a Futo student. |
