Account to Political science, local Government is another tier of Government and the constitution does not allow the governor to appoint or select any LG chairman or caretaker committee what so ever.

Nigeria Governors behave like the lords i their state, they control all the arms and tiers of government in a country where we have separation of power.

They controls the states and can never allow the federal might to control them.

The last time I checked, a federation has only 2 federating unit, n d local government is a subset of d states n dat is why dey use a joint account n it's only d state house of assembly dat can make law 4 dem n dat is why it is d state electoral commission dat conducts their election.

Judging from wat occurred in d Ondo election, the President boys will manipulate APC's primary and favour Fayemi, and since Fayose isn't contesting again n d fact that he has expose his people to be so poor, then d federal boys will spend everything they can just like Ondo to win the election.

Gbeboruns will never mind their own business, their state governors are stealing dem blindly yet na Osun matter dey carry for head, the governor has explained he can't afford d cost of appointing commissioners for now, the only concern d people has is for governance not to stop n in fact if u are in Osun, u won't notice there are no commissioners, currently he is commissioning an elementary school n other road projects are ongoing.

I think this is to confirm d fact dat Oke has really gained support in Akoko land, cos why would dis lawmaker leave his comfort zone to join for uncertainty, if not that he already sees where his people are going n he wants to quickly take advantage so dat he can say his defection caused Oke to win in his domain n dat will give him leverage.

If rigging will take place at all, it will happen in Ondo south n dats hw it has always been. And guess who dat will favour.

Campaign ends today and Eyitayo Jegede is still campaigning in his stronghold wen he should be trying his best to cover as many local government as he can b4 midnight, well maybe they are sure the Election will be postponed.

I laugh wen people say Mimiko controls Ondo state, dis is d only Senator in Ondo state dat is of d pdp n has now decamped. Well let's wait for saturday

Oke should just keep his base n bank on Borofice n Abraham's support in Akoko land n den steal small votes in d central as there are high number of civil servants living in d central who are aggrieved.

With the coming in of Jegede now, all Oke need do is to keep his base so strong n den target places like ifedore and Ondo West n maybe Idanre in d central, den he should target the All d local government in Akoko land n also seek the support of Borofice n Abraham so dat dey can help him with there foot soldiers. Am sure if he could garner enough vote in dos places, by d time d results are being announced he wouldn't be too far behind before d vote of his strong hold come in which is definitely going to be d last n den he can balance up n win.

Buhari messed himself up big time, he allowed Obasanjo nominate ministers for him alot of whom have not visited Nigeria in last few years n don't even have voters card n he neglected n rejected those who wrote n designed APC's roadmap, just because dey are from Tinubu n he as been fooled by Obasanjo dat it will give Tinubu control over him. But now dat he is failing, d same Obasanjo is d one insulting him n am sure he will bring down his government like that of GEJ. Am just imagining how far we would have gone having d likes of Ben Akabueze, Pat Utomi, Wale Edun, Dele Alake, Bolaji Abdulahi, Abike Dabiri, Donald Duke, Henry Boyo as ministers n not all dis dual citizens dat we have now.

If his absence isn't important, why den do dey still talk about him dis much? They better focus on their runaway candidate.
