Politics / Re: My People Were Neglected For 8 Years In Enugu – Ekweremadu by shaibu123: 2:02pm On Oct 16, 2016
Ekweremadu should first account for the money meant for rehabilitation of Enugu-Onitsha express way that he single handedly diverted into his personal pocket in the name of consistency project. CHIME PUT ENUGU ON THE MAP.Ekweremadu is not happy because he was denied governorship by Chime. Chime is the best governor of Enugu in this modern day period.

Lies! Constituency allowance for senators has nothing to do with federal projects. Its d government fault period! Did gej build the almajiri schools from sokoto and kano senators constituency allowance? Abeg swerve. SE has been marginalised after d civil war.

Remove the blindfold from your face so you can see the realities on ground. Almanjiri school is the only thing you could point to...right? What of other viable fed govt projects carried out in other parts of the country which their people monitored closely to ensured execution and performance? Almanjiri school was in gej's budget and the northerners didn't allow it to be killed as did SE projects by your political leaders. Can you honestly answer why the same onitsha-enugu highway project disappeared from the budget after GEJ included it in his administration? Have you also forgotten that he used it as his political campaign strategy in 2011 or he will do the road if you could vote him, among others which was why he included it in the budget? This guy sef... SE has been marginalised for years but by who? Your leaders, of course! Did you know the contractor who got the UNTH Construction contract in Enugu years back? Is that health institution worth anything, when compared to the facilities obtainable in LUTH, ABUTH, etc? You need to find out. Your leaders are your enemies, period!
Well informed. I love it when people like you give out detailed information.Don't waste your time responding to every hear say on this forum.TAKE ME TO COURT OR ANYWHERE,THE PROBLEM OF SOUTH EAST IS OUR GREEDY SO CALLED LEADERS. END OF DISCUSSION.

I disagree with you. Blame politicians in the southeast for the poor state of the roads they currently experience. I could recollect very well during obj 2-term in office. The Enugu-Onitsha expressway was made provision for, in the budget twice but the senators and lawmakers in that region killed it. They diverted the budget voted for the federal roads into their own constituency project that didn't fly a mile. Same scenario played out when Yaradua came to power...jonathan too. Surprisingly, all other regions in the country ensured that road constructions projects as included in the budget for their regions were fully executed. Ife-ilesa expressway was one of such projects in the south west. Okadigbo was senate president when obj first made provision for the budget for the dualisation of onitsha-enugu highway but all the NA members in the region diverted it to their constituency projects. When Anyim Pius Anyim and Ken nnamani were senate president, the same happened. South-eastern politicians are the enemies of that region. They take advantage of the fact that most igbo elites who could have challenged them don't live there, to do whatever they like. When it's time for Christmas when the politicians know people would be coming home to celebrate, they do overnight fire brigade patchup of the roads. They'd provide free bus, free this and free that to prove they're working. When the election period approaches the same politicians will say, don't vote for party xyz because their manifesto isn't in the interest of indigbo. I'm not a politician but I give kudos to amaechi and buhari for fighting the same south-east national assembly members, disallowing them from repeating what their predecessors were known for...diversion of federal projects into constituency projects that will never be executed. Onitsha-enugu resurfaced in the 2016 budget and the morons as usual removed it and diverted it in their constituency project, saying they'd use it for rural solar electrification, same with lagos-calabar railroad...who doesn't know solar system of electricity in our clime is a means of embezzling funds..if at all they'd execute the project? I was surprised that some people of igbo extraction took sides with the NA members from the southeast on their fraudulent plan out of sentiments . I hail the aforementioned, for tackling the NA on this, to its successful end. The portion shown in the pictures above isn't enough. The construction of that road has been flagged off already and the contractor had already commenced work. It would have been also nice to take photograph of the portion where the contractor has started work. After the inclusion of the project in the 2016 capital project, the south east senators continued their fight for their pocket. They said their construction companies must be used to do the job but the government declined their proposal. Julius berger was awarded the contract. Jonathan made this mistake when in government by awarding road projects to the construction companies belonging to the same senators. They eventually abandoned it .
You just hit the nail by the head. END OF DISCUSSION
Family / Re: I Discovered My Wife Lied About Her Age After 3 Years Of Our Marriage. Help! by shaibu123: 1:18am On Oct 04, 2016
nickxtra:
My marriage to my wife is facing a serious challenge, after I discovered from my wife's WAEC certificate, that the date of her birth on the result is 6 years more than what she told me and what has been in all her non academic documents, including her C.V. Actually, i have seen all her academic certificates, including her NYSC discharge certificate, but never saw her S.S.C.E and FSLC results that normally bear dates of birth. Each time i ask her for them in order to compile all the credentials for job application purposes, she would tell me that her WAEC, NECO and primary school results are in a box, with her mum in thier home town; that she would ask her mum to bring them. I gnomo her mum lager came with them for her.

Eventually, a serious sure job came for which i would need these credentials to forward to the organization. She gave me the WAEC result with the excuse that age forgot the NECO and FSLC in her current office, which she promised to bring. Lol and behold! What i saw on the WAEC result is a date of birth 6 years higher than what she told me and what is in her C.Vs.

I called her attention and she started giving me excuses that hold no water. She is saying that the same DOB were erroneously registerd for her when, perhaps they were registering her for both WAEC and NECO. That when the results came out and she noticed the errors, she complained and applied to correct same, but since then, the exam authorities have not corrected them. I have not come to terms with the this discovery. I think this may cause us peace, thrust and love in pur marriage.

My brothers and sisters, i think am contemplating of what action to take against her and am contemplating a divorce, but our two children are still very small for this. I want to report this issue to her family and mine. Am gradually withdrawing my trust for her.

I need matured advice and suggestions that will see me through this.
What has age got to do with love of your life and mother of you kids. There is alot to worry about in life than this. You love her for whom she is and not her age.

Very simple, slash the salaries of senators and house of Representatives and make it less attractive, doing so you save the country massive money.

Am not a big fan of any political party or a politician. But I believe Obiano deserve another four years.Even though he may have forgotten his initial stands in the areas of crime in the state due to alcohol. You need to pay tax,but the problem is investing the tax money in infrastructures and not private pocket.

I'm starting to get fade up with this word corruption in Nigeria government.VP should start from his salary and benefits, then to that of his colleagues in crime that seats in Nass to share money that are meant to better the life of ordinary Nigerians.Call for referendum on politicians salaries and benefits, that is where the change have to start from.Pay a politician a normal salary and you will see those criminals get themselves out of power very quick.

This are self centred people we call Igbo leaders,Obi was busy enriching his businesses during GEJ administration.Hon.Arinze made a good point in bringing up an important and tangible things that we would have today to remember our support for GEJ government. But people like Obi never allowed that to happen because of selfish interest.I have said this many times that our so called Igbo leaders are the ones we should hold accountable for lack of development in the SE.Obi and his So called Igbo leaders were busy visiting Aso rock day in day out during GEJ and never made mention of Onitsha -Enugu express road to Jonathan or 2nd Niger bridge. Now he's talking about identity,But permit me to say that Obiano can learn from all this mistake and start by fixing Onitsha-Akuzu junction express way with federal VAT.Let's take the bull by the horn,

S6un:
Let me educate the op why we need Biafra and quickly

1. Biafra offers us immense opportunity to create a country with top class infrastructure like road, broadband, power, the smaller a country the easier to provide such infrastructure

2. Total control of the fiscal and monetary policy of our country means we can create a Caribbean style tax haven if we like. We have the human resources to do that and the diaspora population to make it work

3. We can create all types of companies backed up by government to provide all kinds of service around the globe most especially in Africa. Think nollywood as a small example. I know a lot of igbo artisans, engineers, chemist, doctors, accountants, software engineers etc currently unemployed but waiting for the opportunity to blossom.

4.we can create a world class health service from where we can export world class health professionals around the world.

5. We can win the world cup because we drive each other to be the best.

But don't you think that we have to first of all unite as one,There is an economic forum coming up in Enugu this October for our people to think how to develop SE. That is what we need now and not biafra without agenda. Think home and build home is the topic, let together develop SE,get the SE governors together and we can do great things. Then we can start demanding for a country.Do you know that 5 SE governors can build Second Niger bridge with foreign investors and install a toll gate on it.Let's face the truth, our Igbo leaders are greed to the highest level.
