[quote author=abobakucannibal post=49324973]Op why you dey waste your time they reply people wey want to remain in a sorry state like the one we are in instead of boldly walking their way out of mediocracy. We Biafrans believe in ourselves and any other people who also believe in themselves. No body can drag us to the dust and make us remain in that dust no.We are not fulfill in Nigeria because the condition we are made to face in our economic endeavors does not allow us to be who we are supposed to be.we need a country where awards are based on merits not on who do you know and you must get a letter from allahaji or a top politician, also we need a country where I don't need to change my name to Musa or kabiru to be favored no.That is why I need Biafra.[/quote

S6un: Let me educate the op why we need Biafra and quickly
1. Biafra offers us immense opportunity to create a country with top class infrastructure like road, broadband, power, the smaller a country the easier to provide such infrastructure
2. Total control of the fiscal and monetary policy of our country means we can create a Caribbean style tax haven if we like. We have the human resources to do that and the diaspora population to make it work
3. We can create all types of companies backed up by government to provide all kinds of service around the globe most especially in Africa. Think nollywood as a small example. I know a lot of igbo artisans, engineers, chemist, doctors, accountants, software engineers etc currently unemployed but waiting for the opportunity to blossom.
4.we can create a world class health service from where we can export world class health professionals around the world.
5. We can win the world cup because we drive each other to be the best. But don't you think that we have to first of all unite as one,There is an economic forum coming up in Enugu this October for our people to think how to develop SE. That is what we need now and not biafra without agenda. Think home and build home is the topic, let together develop SE,get the SE governors together and we can do great things. Then we can start demanding for a country.Do you know that 5 SE governors can build Second Niger bridge with foreign investors and install a toll gate on it.Let's face the truth, our Igbo leaders are greed to the highest level. |

amanze15: I have been waiting to see something like this, he made a lot of money working the finance industry, before he became governor, if someone with this profile "Governor Obiano began his banking career in 1981 at the First Bank of Nigeria before he left to join the services of Chevron Oil Nigeria Plc as accountant and rose to the position of Chief Internal Auditor. In 1989, he was one of the auditors that audited Texaco Refinery in Rotterdam, Netherlands.[6] In 1991, he joined the Fidelity Bank as Deputy Manager and head of Audit unit and rose to the position of Executive Director on October 2003".....can't own a house in the US what else do you need to do to get to such level Obiano himself has made this statement before but why can't him copy those things in texas and implement them in Anambra state. He has nothing to lose |

Abagworo: You that are living in present 80 percent of our roads are without drainage why are they not all having erosion problems. Destroy your environment and expect to win a battle with nature which is impossible. You love your environment |
Politics › Re: Erosion Destroys Road In Isuochi, Abia State (Photos) by shaibu123: 6:21pm On Sep 07, 2016 |
Abagworo: Not true. Drainage can only increase erosion in an erosion prone area. People should plant as much trees as possible and stop destroying natural vegetation in the name of development especially in erosion prone areas. You are living in the past |
Politics › Re: Erosion Destroys Road In Isuochi, Abia State (Photos) by shaibu123: 4:18pm On Sep 07, 2016 |
Abagworo: Erosion is nature just like earthquakes and flood. The only way to preventit is by not distorting vegetation of a vulnerable area. The valley that runs through Igboland is highly prone to erosion and once you destroy the natural vegetation nothing can stop it.
Erosion is not an exclusively Southeastern thing but a Southern Nigeria thing. Southeast is most affected because it is the most densely populated part of Nigeria with people inhabiting almost everywhere. Gully erosion is caused by lack of good drainage system.Which is caused by not constructing a deep gutter and channel the water towards a river. And where there is no river available, artificial canal are form.Check ladipo artificial canal. |
Politics › Re: Erosion Destroys Road In Isuochi, Abia State (Photos) by shaibu123: 3:06pm On Sep 07, 2016 |
Good drainage system is all we need in Nigeria. The contractors are more concerned of how much money they will make than good job.Uke in Anambra state was example and when they finally got their acts together the gully erosion was a thing of pass in that area between uke and Ide ani.Plan good drainage system,no short cut. |
