Jokes Etc / Funny Things You Did As A Kid by Shakara123(m): 4:07pm On Dec 07, 2013
I remember drinking groundnut oil in order to become fat and fresh.

A friend took matches as candy after watching the movie dragon fly hoping that he can spill fire from his mouth afterwards.

Let's keep the fun rolling...

Car Talk / Re: How Was Your First Car Bashing Experience? by Shakara123(m): 3:24pm On Oct 21, 2013
I have never bashed anyone but someone has hit me hard from the back before. It was at oshodi, small traffic o. Once I moved a bit, the next thing I felt was a big impact from the back.

It took me like 30 seconds after the hit before I came out of the car as it was the first time for me and I must say it was a very unpleasant experience.

Secondly,a guy has climbed my friend's leg before while he was gazing at her like he had never seen a lady before. She didn't feel pains initially until she got home; swollen leg and serious pains. He was lucky I was not there that day, I would have made sure he took her to an expensive clinic and foot all the bills.

Politics / Re: Abuja Killings Victims Were Terrorists, Says Army Chief by Shakara123(m): 7:28am On Sep 27, 2013
At least he admitted that some innocent persons might have being caught up in all of this.

How can such killings not take place when there is a gap in information and intelligence sharing among our security agencies, little or zero data on Nigerians, porous borders, fear and lack of trust of the average Nigerian for the police, high level corruption and politicking of security matters by our politicians. At the end the common man on the street struggling to feed his family is most hit. God help this nation.
Politics / Re: 97 Million Naira Used To Re-grass Abuja Natonal Stadium - Hon. Gaiya by Shakara123(m): 11:23pm On Sep 26, 2013
We have millions of our future leaders off school for almost 4 months now while some of our politicians are there in Abuja looting our funds and trying to deceive us that the country is broke.

97 million to re-grass a stadium. This is the loot that got to our ears. Many happen everyday! Who knows, maybe this senator is talking now because he didn't get a fair share of the deal. Am just saying.

I am sure that in a few weeks after the immediate use of the stadium is complete, it will be left in a more deplorable situation again thereby making room for another renovation work; whatever happened to preventive maintenance.

God please save this nation.

picasso4u: God, see the academic qualification of those who want to lead us. Many of them hav ssce, neco, wasc as their highest certificate. In as much as high academic qualification does not ensure good leadership but at least, we shld be sure our leaders can speak gud english.

I thought I was the only person in shock.

He must have pulled it off for security reasons and forgot it somewhere.

Funny dude. Experimenting with his life thereby endangering the lives of other motorists. He should be medically examined.

And by the way Australian cars are typically right hand drives. So another question would be to ask if he is an immigrant.
Celebrities / Re: Pictures Of I Go Dye's Son by Shakara123(m): 3:11pm On Sep 05, 2013
So a man allowed his beautiful daughter to marry this joker. For what!

I made up my small mind a long time ago never to listen to this guy's jokes ever again because I get to laugh until tears starts falling like Lagos rain from my eyes.

What a cute baby from a Joker.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Access Bank And It's Outrageous Recruitment Requirement by Shakara123(m): 10:15am On Aug 25, 2013
They are not recruiting you to come and help improve on their management process. Dude you are to bring results to the table in form of number and volume of accounts. If you feel you cannot do it, stay online and apply for other jobs.

We have to be optimistic and believe we can get results. Pray and work hard, and someday you will smile. We should not forget that that man that is a director or branch manager got there by accident. He must have paid his dues. Everything is possible if we believe; just get in there first.
TV/Movies / Re: Angelo Fought Beverly On Big Brother Because She Wanted More Sex by Shakara123(m): 2:27pm On Aug 19, 2013
The moderator that brought this to the front page should please take it off as the @op's post is a big lie.

From Angelo's statement yesterday, he never got sexually involved with Beverly all through. I have the video and I can say they never had sex.

We should verify stories before making it a big deal. Even though am not a fan of Beverly, I strongly believe it is unfair to paint her this black even when you and I know we are no saints.

I hope she has a plan for life after BBA and how to go about damage control also.

This is what you get when the management of the hospital at Yaba left decides to allow patients get direct access to phones and computers.

Op I like your sense of humour though. But for the mental case, I am sure you would have made it big as a comedian for kids below 6.

Don't take it personal oh even though I know many persons here share my opinion about your case.

Am just joking o. Please don't forget to take your drugs for noon ok.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Age Requirement Is Unconstitutional by Shakara123(m): 10:12am On Aug 05, 2013
While I urge the lawyers in the house to adequately interprete that section of the constitution, I will say that it is high time this issue be addressed in this country.

A friend was invited for an aptitude test by one of those troubled banks when he was 27. He passed the test and was invited for interviews subsequently. The last stage of the interview took months to come and when he attended, he was given the shocker of his life; he had turned 28 and as such was told he no longer meets the age requirement for graduate trainee position for the bank.

Sometimes, I wonder what those senators really do daily while teaming youths are deprived of their rights and have their dreams dashed due to bad policies and non-challant attitudes of our "leaders".

Politics / Can You Die For A Good Course Like A Better Nigeria by Shakara123(m): 7:36pm On Jul 30, 2013
Many countries have lately witnessed massive outcry and some, total revolution over corrupt governments, corrupt government officials or it's likes. These demonstrations sometimes led to loss of lives and properties from both sides. Now my question is can you go all out to protest against bad leadership, corruption, etc in Nigeria even though you know it might cost you your life or face unjust jail time?
Politics / Re: Senate Declares Airport, Kubwa Roads Death Traps by Shakara123(m): 6:56pm On Jul 30, 2013
So the senate committee is only for roads in the fct. Yes they have to make sure the roads are constructed well for their safety. For other death traps in the country where the average Nigerian risks his or her life daily on and sometimes spends long hours commuting, they won't set up any committee.

Secondly, how come they are just detecting this now at project closure phase? Waste of tax payers money. In advanced countries, someone has to take responsibilty for this but I am sure this news will be history in less than 48 hours. Another contract award will roll soon for that same road.

Nigeria. It is well.

Watch the movie "Argo" and you will understand the kind of relationship those two have. You can also say same about the US and France; statute of Liberty.

Why do you think (for security reasons) civilians will be allowed to own and stay in those buildings? We are not talking about Nigeria and Niger here.

Business / Diamond Bank Apologises For Service Disruption by Shakara123(m): 9:33am On Jul 12, 2013
There was heavy drama two days ago at the head office of Diamond Bank Plc when the NLC and some aggrieved former employees of the bank who were layed off disrupted the smooth banking operations for the day.

Their protest prevented the bank's authority from powering on their generators and that subsequently led to the shutting down of their servers; ATMs nationwide stopped working, Online platforms went down, all business transactions went dead as the bank was 'blind'.

However, the bank's management seem to have gotten the situation in perfect control as normal banking activities have commenced nationwide again with a message of apology to all her esteemed customers. Below is the message I got from them; Dear Valued Customer, we apologise for the service disruption on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Please be assured the matter is being resolved and normal banking operations continue at all our branches nationwide.

As a customer, I will say while I hope their human resource issues are properly handled going forward, I must give kudos to the bank's management as the bank's services I have witness and experienced myself are superb.

A wounded lion on a revenge course. But seriously, if this man becomes president, so many people will go on exile, some big companiess will shut down and those few strong-headed guys that decide to stay back will go to jail; that's why they will rather die than see him enter aso rock.

That's what you get When you have an informed, educated, and enlightened man in power. I am even more thrilled by the team he surrounds himself with.

While some other governors are very busy doing nothing than stealing, this man invites the best brains (consulting firms alike), brain-storms and come out with policies and plans that will bring about sustainable development in his state.

Where I will have a problem with him is if he decides not to go for precidency in the near future. He is an asset to this nation.

Anyone who understands real politics will know that this is nothing but a game.

But seriously, why all these battles for April 2015 when we are still in June of 2013? Why not focus on the tasks at hand and perform and let Nigerians score you and decide if you are worthy of a second vote.
