@ all, esp MR imperioux,
They have finally released my Visa yesterday making it exactly 1 month after my interview, they called me that my sevis fee could not be confirmed so I contacted sevis they initially said it will take 3 weeks to rectify so I requested for a refund and they said I will get the refund check in 3 weeks, so I paid again another $200 that went through this time and I called the consulate and they verified it and released my passport and visa the next day, I'm so full of joy now, I'm taking it as my xmas gift lol.... Anyway I'll narrate my experience at the consulate later... Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement in my trying times...

yetflakkie: Hello house,I was also at d abuja embassy last mnth bt my visa was denied*sad face*,I applied to VIU for MBA bt d skul doesn't require gmat bt I did gmat(though didn't pass) only for embassy purpose cuz I ws told they normally deny most students cuz of it,d VO dat interviewed me said she doesn't believe my gmat result cuz I did it after d skul sent my i-20 and dat she expected d skul to have verified d result before sending my i-20,I explained to her dat d skul doesn't require a gmat bt all explanations fell on her deaf ears. Wat do u suggest I do pls? Am thinking of registering for anoda gmat exam and apply to other skuls and not VIU again,maybe skuls dat wud require gmat. Pls suggest other options for me cuz am totally fed up.

i think you might have a more serious problem here than you think, VO said she didn't believe your GMAT result that means she think its fake and you know they don't take fake documents softly, how could you have made that kind of mistake.....
i hope its not as bad as i think.

you can try crown guest house at 46 bamgbose street, cms.... thats where i slept before my interview, its 6k a night...
you can get a drop to the consulate for like 1k from there or walk to cms and enter bus.

imperiouxx: There was a fall guy who nearly killed himself with anxiety because of something similar to this. I can't remember his username anymore, like I told him....Chill men! The visa is already yours. I got my call within 2 days because my resumption was 2 weeks to class starts.

Hello house,
I don't know what could be wrong, I had an F1 interview on the 21st of Nov and was approved and asked to pick up on d 28th, then I got a call from the embassy on d 23rd that I should bring my sevis fee payment receipt which they collected from me that interview date, she later saw it that I paid on the 19th and she said it takes 5 working days to process that they would call me back if need be. Till today I've still not been able to pick up my visa as it is not at the collection center, I've tried to call them they told me to email them which I did and I've not gotten a reply.
Has anyone in this forum experienced sumtin like this before and what could be the problem for I'm getting really worried now...
