PoliticsRe: GEJ To Send Birth Control Bill To National Assembly by shakers(m): 3:23pm On Jun 27, 2012
first of all we all should ask GEJ how many wives he's got..... cos i heard he is a polygamist himself.... this thing can work if you can stop polygamy first...

NYSCRe: Is Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Worth Doing? by shakers(m): 2:44pm On Apr 26, 2012
i served in Ogun some years back and i really regret staying there and wasting one full year of ma life, the best advice i can offer is that you should find a way of getting the discharge certificate ( i regretted not opting to be a ghost corper) well i met a beautiful gf there that we are still courting right now lol.......
Serving your country is nice but if you have things to do, just plan with you ZI or LGI or whatever I it is and get your kpali without you actually being on ground.....
Goodluck
TravelRe: Experience On Night Travelling, New Dimension To Robbery Due To Cashless Society by shakers(m): 10:31am On Mar 29, 2012
domack99: Three days ago I was able to get in touch with a friend of mine who has been missing for almost four weeks. Though his voice was still shivering as he narrate the incident to me on phone yesterday.

He was on his way from Calabar to Lagos on a night bus (Ekele Dili Chuku) when at Ibilo their bus was attack by rubbers/ritualist. According to him there is no way anyone in the bus could escape as the driver bump into them suddenly.

According to him, they came into the bus through the two entrance/exit available, line them up outside and start separating them base on the cash they have at hand. Those with three hundred thousand one side and others with very little cash to the other side.

Latter they start asking them how much is in their account, what can of business do they do and how much comes into their account daily. My friend who is a final year Law student only has six thousand naira as cash and eighty thousand naira in his GTbank account.
He said due to fear several passengers voice out the truth, the amount they have in the bank, the amount they are expecting in their account the next day or days after. In particular a man said he has something like N4.2 million naira in his account. They collected their ATM cards, pin and phones.
Those that claim they have money in their account and those that they suspected that are lying (my friend inclusive) were packed inside an Hiace bus and drove like three hours to the middle of nowhere.

On arriving at their destination they met several other victims, the houses are made of mud with several guards armed with heavy weapon. My friend spent ten days with them, each day they withdraw maximum amount allowable through their ATM and switch on their phones at certain time of the day to see if there is credit Alert from their banks.
On the tenth day they notice that no money is coming into his account and four others so they decided to do away with them.
He woke up to find himself and four others in an hospital two hours away from Calabar and two of whom are died. According to the doctor, that would be the tenth day since a Good Samaritan who found them along the road and brought five of them to the hospital but unfortunately two of them couldn’t make it. He saw the Good Samaritan who also said that the hospital refused to accept them for treatment until he deposited fifty thousand naira each for the five victims.

Anyway they are to be in Lagos latter today, the doctor refer them to an hospital here in Lagos for full treatment and to completely flush out the chemical they inhale that make them unconscious or expected to kill them eventually.
I believe others are still there most especially the man with N4.2 million in his account, you know how long it will take to withdral the whole amount with ATM card.

My advice to everyone is to try and avoid night travelling or anything risky in order to survive, sometimes life makes it look as if you don’t have a choice and sometimes seems as if it’s a life time opportunity that is coming so you just have to travel at night or do some risky things but when incident like this happen we look back, bite our finger and then knew that we had a choice.
Someone that has 4.2m in his account, what business does he have travelling by road on a route that he can afford to board an airplane, well i call it penny wise pound foolish, i hope he makes it out alive.
TravelRe: Help Pls;am Moving To Asaba And I Need Info by shakers(m): 11:13am On Mar 22, 2012
@op,
Asaba is just a small quiet town mainly a civil service town( most people here work for the govt) though its the capital city of oil rich delta state, things are a little expensive but ok compare to a place like lagos or abuja,
budget btw 300-400k for a 3 bedroom flat in a very good area
Security is ok, only the big politicians and very big business men have to bother about the little kidnappings going on here and there lol,
Relaxation is ok but if you are coming from lagos just know that there is no party like the lagos party lol,
there is a functional airport here in asaba, Arik air and overland air flies in and out twice daily to and from abuja and lagos, thats the only available route for now....
i wish you a pleasant stay in Asaba.
you can holla here if you need more info

Phone/Internet MarketRe: Mtn Introduces New Internet Data Bundles by shakers(m): 3:37pm On Oct 18, 2011
@ Poster and all,
This so called improvement is for only for mobile phone internet users, it does not apply to the fastlink modem users, it is still N8000 for 5GB a month and N500 for 150GB a day, nothing really has changed,
MTN  is still that same greedy and selfish network, i wish glo would work on the network quality i for don troway my mtn since but mtn still has more coverage and better quality, Glo own na to dey waste money they organise comedians and musicians for shows instead of them to be working on the quality of their network,
SportsRe: NFF Decides Siasia’s Fate On Thursday by shakers(m): 3:50pm On Oct 11, 2011
I DONT THINK THE PROBLEM IS THE COACH, EVEN IF YOU BRING MOURHINO OR DEL BOSQUE TO COACH THOSE USELESS SUPER EAGLES BOYS, THEY STILL WILL NOT GET RESULT, ITS SAD TO SAY THAT WE DO NOT HAVE THOSE TALENTS ANYMORE IN OUR SUPER EAGLES LIKE IN THE DAYS OF J.J OKOCHA, AMOKACHI, FINIDI, IKPEBA AND THE LIKES, THE QUALITY OF OUR PLAYERS HAVE REALLY DEPRECIATED TO THE EXTENT THAT NO NIGERIAN PLAYERS HAS A REGULAR SHIRT IN ANY OF THE BIG CLUBS IN EUROPE.
ONCE AGAIN ITS NOT ABOUT SIASIA BUT ABOUT DEVELOPING THE GAME.
THANKS
