When is your leave from your company, there are 12 months in a year and only 1 month for leave. You may want to align everything to fit into this cycle. I can hear people on this forum thinking that there are some sinister reasons behind the denial of visa to our people. First of all, I should let you know that I do not envy the visa officers who have the undaunted job of screening out who may or may not be allowed into Canada. They've got the most difficult job. For them, it all boils down to gut instincts and it also boils down to you given them just a speck of reason to doubt the autheticity of your intention. That is all it takes.

If you've been denied, when you said you were visiting Canada as a tourist, it only makes sense for the immigration officer to evaulate your travelling experiences. Moreover, how grounded are you in Nigeria. How strongly connected are you? If an immigration officer suspects that you have nothing of substantial value[b] (property, job, wife, children) [/b]that will make you not want to leave Nigeria for Canada, then there is the red flag.

I should also warn you that what worked for someone else does not necessarily work for another person. Every individual is dealt with on His own merit.

So, if you feel that there are things you could have done differently with your application, this is the time to review it and get yourself prepared for the next time you will be approaching them.

well i am single and i have a property with c of o that i submitted with it, i also have a very good job so i dont know what else i would have given them again,
i submitted,
the intro letter from my office,
the leave request and approval letter,
the title deed of my property including C of O,
my payslips for about 6 months,
my personal bank account statement,
the salary account statement,
intl passport ofcourse,
bank draft,
passport photos.
i would have added my ID card but i need it at work everyday,

so those were the document i submitted, i nor try for them? lol

He is very sure it can be backdated because the lawyers that took care of his papers asked him to go apply for the funds and he said he has not allowed the mother access the funds ever since

when someone gives birth to a British citizen, does the govt pay that child any money, because my bro that just got his UK residency was telling me he got some huge amount of money to get from the govt now that his documents are ready, he was saying its about 110 pounds a week and the child will soon be 3 yrs old, pls its not as if i am doubting him but i want to be sure if this info is correct,

I applied for a Canadian visa with ma mum and it was issued in less than 2weeks all na planning and prayers note ma mum had a virgin passport we where both issued 6months each so ma broder pray harder when next u apply

@Shakers  Canadian embassy is an embassy where they don"t care how many times u been to the USA, UK or even Aust. An uncle of mine has been to the US bunch of times and the Uk but still got denied, talkless of students. The US embassy is much better than canadain embassy. like my man Fogman says it take the grave of God to get a Canadian visa.

What do you do ? There is a guy on NL i met here, he was issued a canadian visa, i don"t mind sending u a list of docs he presented wit his application. hit me up and i will send them to u.

nope i just applied for the tourist visa and booked an hotel, i dont know anyone there that can send me an invitation and i am actually looking at applying again in august or sept,

He has actually been there illegally, he entered with a 6 months visa then, Well he called last weekend that the just gave him the Residency papers and now he can look for a good job and that he can apply for British citisenship after another 9 months or so, we were all so happy for him, he has a british girlfriend and they have a Son together, that was what he used to apply for the residency,

Poster what you are asking for could lead to you losing everything dime you travelled with, as if you dont know Nigerians, they are still thesame oh even after spending number of years abroad, better find your way around yourself and when you are there already you can start meeting Nigerians to show you around than just expectin someone you dont know to pick you up at the airport ,

i think you should be grateful someone found it at all, do you know how much you would have spent to get it back and also the visa in it, well what i think you should do is bergain with the guy try to reduce to amount he demanded, although there are some guys that will find such stuffs and give it back without demanding a dime, but since this guy wants money just give him and live everything to God. once again be grateful to God that someone found it and willing to return it.

that UK sef, i dont know why their own is always too difficult, i have a bro there facing similar problem, he married a uk citizen sometime in Jan 2010 and till date they have not given him his papers to work legally, the last i heard was that they called him to provide about 7 people (uk citizens) as reference to show he has been there all that time, he has spent close to 5 yrs in that place now, he has spent about 5000GBP trying to get this thing done but till date still telling him to come today and come tomorrow, i would have asked him to come home but he has already spent too much already to give up,

well if because of Kidnappings you cannot stay in warri, i think you would be better off in lagos because benin city has because home to Kidnappers of recent, there has been a lot of commercial kidnappings going on in the city, but i still think if you get a nice hotel and dont allow your whitees stay out late, i think you will be safe just dont draw unnecessary attention to yourself and since you wont be staying long enough for anyone to notice you, you will be ok,

i think the company is genuine, i tried them sometime last year but there was some kinda complications in my own case and they refunded part of the initial deposit i paid which i think was fair,
