InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 11:10am On May 04
One of the best decisions I took this year was exiting my entire position in Transcorp. Na so the stock go dey range between 39 - 55 for the next two years. Good for Jijoist.

I understand, bro. I don’t have any ties to their management—the money laundering conversation is beyond me. I’m just an investor like you, and my chart shows ₦22–₦25 as the sweet spot for entry. That’s why I planned to go all in. If it goes on full bid Monday, I’ll hold off. For now, I don’t have the bank in my portfolio at all
Streetinvestor2:
I am going to buy 100 million units. What a bank for money laundry..lol
I hate the bank sp I am emotional
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 7:12pm On May 01
I’m hoping it goes on full offer Monday, just like UBA did after announcing no dividend. If we get two straight days of full offer, that would be a dream scenario for me. By the end of the week, I’ll share the volume I was able to scoop and my BE
Agbalowomeri:
With the recent volumes I doubt it will stay below 25 beyond Monday
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 5:52pm On May 01
I hope Access stays on full offer for two to three days, giving me the window to accumulate sufficient units and then let time compound the outcome. My target is a buy entry between ₦22–₦25 and an exit range of ₦45–₦50. I believe the bank presents the strongest opportunity in the sector at the moment.

At N22 Naira, I will be more than happy to buy 10M units

This is not financial advice. Please do your due diligence.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 7:40am On May 01
For potential capital appreciation, at the current price, Access bank is the best bank to buy right now on NGX

If it drops 10 - 20% next week, I will load aggressively. I hope it drops 10% on Monday so I can start accumulating and I go dey average down going forward, that is if it keeps dropping.

Dangote Sugar

Some good and some not so good

Operating cash flow was negative in Q1 2025, its now positive 139.5 billion

Company is still pouring out a lot of money into investment / expansion and backward integration 35.1 billion in Investing Activities, equipment, plant , properties and so on

Some debts were repaid , financing cost and debt repayment 141.8 billion

In summary the company is highly geared,

13.1B negative cash flow in Q1 2026 vs 4.9B positive Q1 2025

The best part the journey to massive turnaround don begins if they can sustain this momentum, cos they have finally return to strong profit after several quarter on quarter losses.

Still looking forward to how the RI will feed into their future result.

If this momentum can be sustained, they will regain their lost glory and possibly overtake NASCON

A very solid company with a lot of room for making good money now and in the nearest future. Its a good one to have in one's portfolio

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 3:11pm On Apr 29
I pray God reward the patience of people wey still dey DangSugar cos it's not easy seeing people booking profit left, right and centre and nothing tangle is happening at your end. If the Q1 result comes out disappointing, the stock might end up trading below the right issue price N60. But if there is a significant improvement, the stock is likely to shoot to N100.

Transcorp is another annoying stock like that.

DangSugar is looking like a decent candidate for JIJO
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 4:48pm On Apr 28
They always get away with these things because most minority shareholders are docile. They don’t ask pertinent questions, they don’t challenge questionable outcomes, and many don’t even attend the AGM. The few who do usually just second motions. It’s really sad.

That was why it was so easy for someone to propose a merger for a company that wasn’t even operational. Yet, you will still find motivational speakers on this forum defending them. May God help Nigeria and Nigerians.
Dupeodus:
I totally agree with you on this one. What UBA management did is a serious breach of fiduciary duty that creates significant trust issues. You know of the CBN directive to treat 100% of insider loan as non performing. You did not only fail to recover such loans from insiders, you failed to reflect cbn's directives in your quarterly financial and did not issue warning to investors. If not for the slow pace of the judiciary in Nigeria, UBA should be facing a class action law suits from it's shareholders. I am still hoping that a smart lawyer will initiate this. I looked at Zenith on the other hand. Zenith provided for a total of ₦1.5 trillions in loans between 2024 and 2025. My guess is that a significant portion of this is insider loans that are still performing. If this is true, then Zenith has significant reserves that can still be written on to profit in future.

UBA Right Issue was N50 , I am sure it will touch N40 on the floor tomorrow before any reversal, that is if any reversal go even happen at all tomorrow. Zenith Bank did RI, GTCO did RI , we all know how much they are all trading on the floor today.

Transcorp will remain the way it is for the next 2 years unless Ote or another Billionaire launch another hostile takeover stunt

SEPLAT is the new Bride.

BILLIONAIRES in the house, abeg we need 100K unit to move DangCem. Please help our ministry. All these money una dey share , make e reach our side too

Money never sits idle. If it leaves UBA next week but stays in the market, it must find a new home. Game theory teaches us: follow the flow, and you’ll find the profits.

Just Follow the Money

Still loads of Oxygen in the tank for Nascon. Zenith , UBA , STANBIC , GTCO are all still undervalued.

Not a buy recommendation.
Nascon Q1 result will speak to where the price will be headed in the nearest future. I will be attending the meeting virtually on Monday. I'm very much loaded in the stock.

Where is AwesomeJ ? Correct Guy!!!
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428:
You're right. I exited because my target was met. My set exit price for NAHCO and NASCON was 240. NAHCO hit the set exit price yesterday and I bowed out. Used all the proceeds to top up DamgCem

And I think you mixed up my DangSugar for my NAHCO, I posted when I sold half of my DangSugar and used the proceed to load Dangcem at 400+

DangCem set exit price : 1,200

yMcy56:
Alright sir.
Pullback doesn't necessarily mean a stock is done appreciating anyway.

I dey with you grin. Sold at 259 this morning. I'll sha re-enter when I see opportunity
Your exit game is better than mine, I sold everything yesterday at 240 and use all the proceeds to load more Dangcem
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 1:04pm On Apr 21
I sold yesterday at 240
yMcy56:
But you sold below 200 if I'm right......and the current price is @242...
Meaning, you.may have met your target when you sold but that target was another person's entry price because of value they've again discovered in the Stock NAHCO.....

I can read Oga Emma saying he picked some tashere NAHCO today again....
People invest for different reasons...

Spot on
ositadima1:
I think you completely missed the point. I don’t know why you sold Nascon, it never showed signs of weakness. You probably sold based on price fluctuations, which is contrary to an investor’s discipline.

Now, Dangote Sugar had clear signs of worsening financials, which I pointed out. Selling at 80 and buying back at whatever price it settles at when value returns would put you in a better position.

Anyway, to each their own. Also, it was someone else who posted their portfolio asking whether they should sell (or was it you).
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 4:17pm On Apr 08
All things being equal, people will queue to buy Zenith Bank at 200+ this time next year, if not sooner.

Not a buy recommendation. Due diligence plz.
