They do the work of cook, this is some people's career for crying out loud, they are paid for it.

They do laundry, some people's full time job.

They take care of children - Nannies are heavily paid in the west, it's a full time job.

All these in addition to holding down full time jobs and businesses.

If you doing all these alone for yourself, it's not easy not to talk about caring and cleaning after 2 and more.

This is a masterpiece. Brilliant performance from all the cast members. Didn't know Ben Affleck got this range — very convincing performance. Matt Damon and Adam Driver more than delivered. Jodie Comer did brilliantly.
The ending truly captures life in the 14th century, how disputes are settled and the reality of womenfolk in the past.

The perspective of the story broken into three parts according to the 3 main characters was brilliant. Each characters motivation and viewpoint was adequately explored.

The movie should have made more at the box office. I guess medieval history ain't as captivating as before.

These roles are taken seriously and failures by either party would be termed as irresponsibility.

But in recent times, we have seen an unprecedented shift and fluidity in these roles and how they are played. Women are now providers and sometimes even breadwinners while men have also been involved in running the home especially with child care. This has generated debates with some still holding on to the traditional role division.

To the reason for this post:
So, most men, at least on this platform, complain of women only wanting them because of what they can bring to the table. If the tables are turned, as a man, would you be a househusband while your wife provides?

Since when did your gender start valuing any contribution to your life that does not have a monetary aspect to it?

If it's to further a woman's education, is it not money the man will use?
If it's to open a business for her, is it not money the man will use?
If it's to invest in or grow her already standing business, is it not money he will still use?

What other contributions do you people mean when you say stuff like that kwanu?
Like I noted, DON'T kid yourself.

If a man puts you in his prayers daily OR gets you a Bible and Open Heavens, and tells you to use it daily to develop your spiritual life, I'm 100% sure you will never see any of this as a worthy contribution to your life.
