OmoAjowa7:Why I took u up is because of ur comment that made it seem like Buhari wl be voted in SOLELY because he is an incumbent! That is ridiculous! That ur permutation about Jonah being vice before becomin president, am sorry to say is all pedestrian hogwash! No doubt contesting against an incumbent anywhere is not a walk in the park and some reasonable level of performance is needed to keep ur seat not just being an incumbent like u posited in ur initial comment! That's like saying that the economy will remain and evn get worse under pmb watch after four years and Nigerians in their numbers wl stil troop to still vote him BECAUSE he is an incumbent! Doesnt make sense. Buharis performance shd either speak for him or he goes back to Daura. Thestandwithbuhari is never unconditional! |
OmoAjowa7:And Jonah wasnt because he was a jumping president? You folks make so much of this incumbency thing when it has been demystified! |
TippyTop:Just like you and ur cotravellers of naysayers never believed that a Jona will be booted out, right? You keep peddling this your hollow opinion everytime thinking we should kiss ur feet because you are so smart to see what everyone else ddnt see! Sage right? Hmm...smh Son, there was a time when voting out an incumbent governor was unimaginable but it is so commonplace now. The booting out of Jonah has set the ball rolling in that sphere and if you think the SW. or the North will vote for PMB with abysmal performance, think again! Maybe the North will (i doubt) but you can bet with anything that the SW wont! So chill and let Buhari's performance speak for him instead of always pontificating in the negative! The standwithbuhari is conditional! |
hayfloze:Thought u already had a papal setup olredy, anywy, get a paypal cos Naija PP cant receive payment. I mean setup a US or UAE paypal acct that can receive pay then when u get paid, u can then sell ur funds to a Nigerian exchanger! |
hayfloze:Since you can receive ur fiverr funds on paypal, why not sell it to a Nigerian exchanger...check online for exchangers! |
Bolustic:Couldnt have said it any better...This is what I told Izonpikin yesterday! Nigeria and her Messianic and Magic Bullet Syndrome! |
Izonpikin:Since u support the NDA/militants blowing up pipelines albeit partially, the question is. how does that bring about the restructuring of the Niger Delta? |
Izonpikin:This is where folks like u get it wrong! Ask urself who suffers the most from every pipeline bombed? When some of u talk about this ND thing like it started. immediately PMB came onboard when u have a billionaire militants parading themselves as the voice of the ND. Its a shame! This is a case of the blind leading the seeing! Lets not talk about how much has been pumped into the ND siphoned by Sons n daughters of the ND, lets talk this restructuring that some of u talk about like its some magic bullet that will automatically change everything. Mr, not with the kind of leaders the SouthSouth is cursed with, I dare say NO! We are a region/nation of believers in Messiahs and magic bullets-the latest being restructuring! Dnt get me wrong, am a cautious believer in such instruments but u can only get the best of every instrument in the hands of a skillful user! Folks from the SS see Abuja or Lagos n shout "see what the did with our oyel money" but forget that Lagos or Abuja was a creation of purposeful leadership which is grossly deficient in the SS. Hate or like Tinubu but u cant deny the key role he played and still plays in. the kind of leadership Lagos enjoy! If without restructuring, Lagos is what it is add restructuring and we would have our own dubai. There was a time the magic bullet for the ND was NDdC, then all the different increase in percentages in oil derivation, then ND ministry, then PIB, now the magic wand is restructuring! Ok oo! |
anonimi:Oga u do ur job better with pix...oya go check ur archive! |
Flets:Is ds ur latest twist to ur narrative? You ddnt peddle this yesterday when the media was awash with PDP leading! I guess u wdnt be spinnning this hooey if the obvious wasnt the case....Son, deal with it! Edo indigenes have made their votes count without the usual large scale violence and it rings loud and clear except u are deaf. The only selling point for PDP is the economic hardship and it failed woefully in selling their candidate! Where r u escaping to? Anywy cameroun is not far! Escape ko Nescafe ni! |
Proudlyngwa:Why hidden? hmm...yeah we keep making this comments cos we want that Nairaland of old back! |
I quite agree with y @proudlyngwa Nland is now so much bigger than Seun and he has to do something to curtail all the madness that flies around here cos it wl only take one very careless treasonable comment that wl catch the powers that be attention to get him in trouble! Seun shd put measures in place to make people hv civil conversations-agree to disagree! There was a time when Nairaland was a place where u come in and learn something but this days just reading through comments insults ones intelligence! I suggest limiting access to certain places for people who register monikers by the second jst to either spam or peddle slur until the person post a certain number of HIGH QUALITY posts in a place meant for them. 2. Any current member banned will have to go through a similar process (less stringent though i.e if 1 above will have to make 20 quality posts, a current member banned will make like 10 to be readmitted) 3. Seun can also Create a space where those low quality posts wc involves slurs et al can be made and any comment outside this zone gets one an immediate ban. This shd be done if he still wants to admit everybody. This chases the spammers/trolls out of this place because you wont register a new moniker today and start spamming everywhere with "who Tonto epp?" on a topical issue and keeps current members civil cos they wouldn't want to go join the queue to be vetted. This is good for business because in the long run we will have a clean forum that advertisers will want to advertise to not one where u read comments that the poster is entitled to but is not entitled to be on a forum. P.S: Get that share button, dnt see its use! |
rexhafiz:God bless u ojare...anything outside what u said in a system like Nigeria wont work! If I tell the world that ur boxers is torn, i must make sure mine is not smelling! So all the Buratais n Fashy n Tinubus et al shd wait for their day too... |
cindyrocks:There's something folks like you that always come with this hooey anytime a corruption case is brought up dont get! Folks like u believe we should open up ALL the prisons and let ALL the prisoners go because we cant catch ALL the thieves out there. This is the height of inanity! Why it always a case of witch hunting when a govt person is caught with their hands in the till, and it never is when its a common man that steals a goat? Nigerians like u make me laf! Simple questions: Did folks like Diezani give u a share of her loot? N u will sell ur destiny n dt of ur kids for her even though I am so sure u got not a penny from it! SMH for u o! The likes of Diezani n dasuki never saw ds coming and so it will be when karma comes full circle for the likes of smart thieves like Tinubu et al! So chill cos u cant imagine wat wl happen WHEN power slips out of the hands of APC to some other party's! If only this whole witchhunting, yes I said witchhunting, was sustained from OBJ>Yaradua>GEJ till now, we wont b in ds mess we find ourselves. U n I cant fyt political thieves so lets pray that they keep fyting themselves like this that way govt becomes not corruption free but more sane! |
PassingShot:An economy this bad + Bokoharam on rampage....hmm..we have every reason to thank God |
GMbuharii:Its funny how some of u always try to turn a narrative around to suit ur victim-mentality! Its even more laughable when some of you talk about the "plight" of the Niger Delta as if it started immediately after PMB assumed office! Even when cold hard facts and figures stares you in the face...we will keep reminding u of these facts below until folks like u get it and begin to ask the right questions. 1. What were the governors from 1999 till date doin with all the huge monthly allocation pumped into the region? e.g What business has a state like Bayelsa got owing salaries? 2. What about the budgetary provision in the Niger Delta controlled by Niger Deltans been used for? Can u point to projects in the ND that is at par with the monies this ministry gets? 3. What does NDDC do apart from sharing community development & empowerment money" to "community leaders" and share the rest while folks like u come online to litter a platform like this with inanities. 4. Lets not forget the big one-13% Oil derivation from sales of Oil. Is there a corresponding increase in development in this region as a result of this revenue earner for the ND region? The words of Kachikuwu holds true for me that folks like u shd go and ask where u see a $5 billion development in place not to talk of the $40billion he said has been pumped into that region for 12years. You folks can keep deceivin urselves, even if the whole budget of this year is dumped in the ND, with your kind of dull and non-creative leaders with sticky fingers you have in place akin only to those in the North, it will go down the drain like others. Lagos that some of you drool about is founded on transparent and creative leadership! That is why they are where they are-tell me one leader in the SS that is in the clout of a fashola or an Ambode not to talk of a Tinubu whose business is grooming purposeful leaders (who are not perfect, mind you, like he is not) but they work! Does Lagos get as much? When some of u ask for restructuring/regionalism which is a beautiful instrument but NEVER a magical bullet that over night transforms any state without PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP. Any tout with a "General" before their names is now a leader in the ND-shame! That is how the likes of Asari, Tompolo and co enriched themselves in your name and u still ranting on Nairaland! Lagos is a model for "regionalism" that works without restructuring/regionalism been put in place. If Lagos achieved this much without regionalism (others like Ogun are following suit), then u can't imagine what Lagos will become with it! Make ur region work and all this victim mentality ends! |
lol....nairalanders can conjure the most unimaginable hooey sha...una weldone..but OP hope u have a PVC to vote or is it just the unnecessary online rant that some u folks have turned to an art? |
donnie:I will urge you to go read this book "The Purpose and Power of Woman" by Myles Munroe, It will bless you and broaden your understanding on the place of the woman in everything! |
MadamExcellency:Oh yeah....its always still this stale card of tryin to change a narrative from what is to what you "think" it is for you and your cotravellers! I guess Buhari dealt so much with Fayose that he had to impose the same sherriff he is now speakin from both sides of his mouth about-the same sheriff that was the best thing in PDP since slice bread for fayose! Abeg lets hear word! |
HolyHero:With the way Bombs are been rained on ISIS from the likes of Russia et al with corresponding ground offensive on their positions, you will think that we will wake up one morning and they will be all gone! Turn on ur TV to world media, are they still there? I bet they are! Terrorism is a never ending cycle....we might suppress it..hmm..it will surely manifest in another form: Taliban>Alqaeda>ISIS>only God knows what! Our military are doing a good job technically defeating BH but for as long as the environment that breeds such acts still abound, we can only degrajde and suppress but eliminating it takes much more than bullets and fighter jets! |
OP as much as I commend you for bringing up this breakdown but on a forun like nairaland where some folks will feast on anything even when it is wrapped with faeces....hmmm....they will soon tell u that how much were u paid for this or this is damage control from an Apc apologist! |
Toks2008:Like someone said earlier in ur thread (eventhough i read it through), you are been vague about whether you want to call masturbation a sin or not and at the same time you are quick to tell believers who think otherwise to "shut up" cos there is not a scripture that mentions masturbation explicitly! I want to believe you are a "Christian" except you say otherwise cos u copiously "buttressed" your points with "scripturally backing"! 1. Have you by chance read 1Cor 10:31? Please do, cos for me that portion of scripture clarifies explicitly what is SIN no matter what anyone says! This qstn answers the "self-justifying qstns" some folks ask to have a "go-ahead" on what their conscience denies! Back to ur confusing proposition: From that scripture If you can honestly say that you give God glory when you self-service, then I leave you to ur conscience. 2. If you are a christian (christ-like), and you are conscious of Gods all seeing eyes (remember you are His temple) when committing the act, and when you are done, you have NO element of guilt, then like the first, i leave u wt ur conscience (that's if you have one -cos the bible makes us understand that some have conscience that is dead)! When it comes to SIN there is no grey, its all in black and white! Paint it how u may, try to be politically correct, the bible still calls it SIN! |
ceekak:Except the OP is jst sincerely naive or purposefully mischievous, I blame those who bring matters like this to a forum like this that is unfortunately, gradually going to the dogs because its bn taken over by folks who are allergic to civil conversation. |
incredible70:Lol...why do u sound so pained? Was ur brother one of those SLAUGHTERED by the Nigerian Army? I guess u miss the part where it was said that they attacked pipeline repair personnel-cultists don graduate to....... (fill the blank space and cure ur obvious ignorance) |
wirinet:I tire for all this clowns...even when cold hard facts stares them in the face, they still wont stop spewing gibberish! |
CHIJIOKE1314:For the umpteenth time how did the 36 state govs become Amaechi-led faction? Why u trying to change factual narrative to suit your obvious prejudice: Read: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/09/govs-drag-jonathan-to-court/ |
Drabeey:Nigerians like to hear "sweet nothings" just like Samson Siasia sayin they wont come back to Nigeria without bronze. What if they dnt? This same Nigerians wl call for their heads like they did in the past! This man spoke within the context of the law that any election that doesnt meet set standards will be declared inconclusive becos political actors have always taken advantage of that loophole to as a matter of "do or die" clinch the post and then tell their opponents to go to court where they kno they wl hv some level of influence becos they are now in charge. He is ryt that the political atmosphere has changed cos the two parties at the top are very strong, they wl fyt dirty and it wl not b in good faith to declare an election conclusive when its not jst to get good grades from some mischievous folks on both sides of the divide....if only we have people that read in between the lines and not jst the sensationalism of headlines! |
midehi2:Yeah he almost did but those Navy seals did a number on the pirates! |
kenonze:Go watch that movie by Tom Hanks so u know how its done-"Captain Philips" |
halfricanadian:Nope lady, Nobody is talkin about treating a lady right or cheating from that pic and the thread topic-u r changing the narrative here! The issue here is about ladies who wont even entertain/allow an environment that could foster a relationship wittingly or not by their attitude! An example would suffice: Ds guy saw ds gurl in church, asked for her number. He called her a couple of times: Most times she doesn't pick, d few times she picked, she sounded like it was her landlord that called to ask for an overdue rent. Even though the guy tries to be all fun, she keeps killing his spirits! He tries to chat wt her myb she wl b more expressive but all he got was ds interrogation style response of fine, ok, yes, uhumm... Maybe she doesnt like him....maybe its ds "chilidish forming", but at 29?....hmm..but he likes her and his intentions are pure. He gets tired of trying to break ds wall around her and moves on...meets someone else who "listens" and gets hooked! This is what we talking about here! In simple terms what that pic is saying is LADIES SHOULD HEAR MEN OUT then sift the wheat from the chaff cos u just might never know when u watch something beautiful that could have been slip right under ur nose! Simple! I guess d next line of consolation for the ladies would be "it wasn't meant to be"! |
shukuokukobambl:Lol.. Israelis who LOVE Iran? Does that make sense? |
Ursino:Men are u kno but its way much easier to get a woman to do somthin that stupid than a man would! You still dnt believe me? Put on ur TV and hook up to any of this televangelist, (both the fake and the real) do a random count of the women in the congregation and u wl get my point! women are MOST(9/10) times more. I wont b surprised if a sizeable number of the men were dragged there by the women! Remember even in the bible the woman was first deceived and the devil left the woman to finish the job of deception! |
