Let him open his comments box, so we can 'interact' with him. Or he doesn't want to know what Nigerians think.

Depilot:

First, to compare Babangida to Hitler is ridiculous and unfair. And second, if Babangida shouldn't be allowed to contest, please let us all know who should be allowed.
Again, learn more about all our politicians before picking the bad fruits amongst the good ones.

Politicians remain our major problem in this country and if you're smart you will understand that there isn't a single pleasant politician in this country. Focusing on just Babangida who is practically begging to come and correct things is not only foolish, but also senseless.
Even the new or Young politicians are worse in every way than the old ones.
Please believe me, currently I know more than 10 politicians that look like bunch of saint to you people, but to the guys within their circle, these people are nothing but criminals dressed in white attire; they are all straight up inferior in excellence, in quality, or in character, they clearly have nothing to offer us. They are not only ready, but also determined to suck our country dry. But yet Babangida is our target and our greatest enemy of all time.

Tell your daddy to open his comments box. We have a lot to say to our 'beloved' leader.

Kobojunkie:

If this were a popularity contest, he would have won by now.

But it isn't. This is NOT a popularity contest.

Please relevance or popularity DOES NOT replace good leadership. If he is the only candidate in the next election, does that mean that we should go and vote en masse just because we want to exercise our vote?
Politics / Re: Ibb Phone Number And Profile On Facebook by Sharonf(f): 1:24pm On Aug 17, 2010

Politics / Re: Milton Friedman On Slavery And Colonialism. A Must Watch For Africans by Sharonf(f): 12:04pm On Aug 15, 2010
Katsumoto:

To answer this question accurately, you have to compare the standard of living of Africans pre and post the colonial era. Africans were much better off before the colonials came. Yes Africa has made some gains from the Europeans but the Europeans have gained much more and are still gaining much more. European society benefitted from slavery and colonisation.

The Europeans left Africa when they left for there selfish reason. It is no wonder that most new African governments fell in the 60s and 70s after independence. Angola fought a civil war for several decades in which the world powers took sides with both sides in the conflict and bled the country. The same thing happened in Congo, Nigeria, Liberia, South Africa, etc.

Inventing the wheel or not inventing the wheel, the Europeans stole from Africa. It is another argument whether our lack of development would have improved our standard of living or not. But as for contact with Europeans, we are worse off. We may have been better off if they came to assist and not to loot. See the article below about Haiti as an example.

I think its pretty clear that gadogado thinks he is stup'ider than everyone else so theres no need trying to convince him otherwise.
