rvp2018: They must be drunk from all the festivities of the end year; I suggest you move budget making to mid-year You already have debt servicing exceed revenues; naira has issues; economy is sick; and instead of reducing the budget; they've doubled it? What magic will they use to finance it. You must be thinking out of your ass again. Foreign debt servicing is a measly 1.4 trillion. How and where did that exceed revenue? Or are you confusing Nigeria for Kenya. Kenya is a failed state, Nigeria is a developing one. Our Revenue has been increasing on yoy basis, yours has been decreasing since 2018. “For debt service, domestic debts (including Ways and Means) got N4.49 trillion; foreign debt was allocated N1.81 trillion; and sinking fund to retire maturing loans took N247.72 billion.“ |

I'm sure the equity team would have done themselves a huge favour tapping into your financial expertise and experience. There are more Nigerian banks in DRC than they are Kenyans. Nigerian banks make more money in DRC than Kenyan banks. Whatever it is you think you’re doing, Nigeria has done it with less noise. |

Kenya is ranked first globally for peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading volume and fifth worldwide for total cryptocurrency activity. Kenya is the leading African country amongst 10 countries globally in terms of cryptocurrency holdings and blockchain- related transactions. Lol..what an idiot. You actually believe you have more crypto trading volume than Nigeria?on what platform? Where’s your source? Or are you pulling statements and figure out of your azzs again? jl115: if you agree with that then you are just as ret@rded....the bro said the GDP doesn't count because the data only contains Q3 data..... When it's simply the GDP per capita of kenya vs Nigeria at October 2022 Oh my lord!! What we have is a projected GDP figures of 2022!!!. That takes into account data from Q1-Q3. Real GDP figures of any country is not yet out since Q4 data is projected and not Real!!! Why are you being ret@rded? It’s even stated on the IMF website you’re getting your figures from

jl115: that's is for once correct yes, however your argument is still ret@rded as fvck....since if you look at the growth figures Kenya will be even more ahead by the end of Q4 so that just further proves my point. Projected growth figure, nothing is written in stone yet. And if you’re conversant with the IMF system, you’ll know they have often times get their figures wrong, in fact nigeria exceeded the projected GDP growth rate from imf this year. Our GDP now stands at 504 billion dollars, and Kenya is 114 billion dollars which is down from the over 120 billion that was projected. And yes GDP per capita is the more realistic of the economy outlook and we have a higher per capita than Kenya. |
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Shaytun: 9:18pm On Dec 20, 2022 |
jl115: Dude please try to understand that GDP totals are cumulative.....meaning the figure is for October 2022....its cumulative untill October 2022....do you understand now?
Secondly I very very clearly said Nigeria has a higher GDP nominal per capita and a lower Gdp ppp per capita than Kenya No, actually the figure is cumulative until September 2022. It was just published in October, and it does not reflect the current reality of things. |

Shma2022: Do you guys really understand what you're talking about?
jl115 has given you data the most recent quarter --- OCTOBER ! Whatvelese do you need, or is quarterly analysis and definition is rocket science?
Data are calculated after every 3 Months; Thats what we call quarterly data presentation -- so the first 3 Month is Q1. Goes that way up to Q4 --- OCT, NOV, DEC.
Thus, if I am seeking the latest information about a company in 2022, I will refer them to the most recent quarter which would be Q3 of 2022. Exactly. There’s a difference between Q3 of 2022 and 2022. A lot could have happen to a company in 3 months. And since I’m in the last month of the last Quater, if I want to know about the latest information on a company, I’ll wait till they publish the Quarter figure. |

jl115: oh fvck it's another ido1t......smh
My bru the totals are cumulative up and till Q3 as in YTD, they aren't just Q3s GDP but the cumulative GDP of Nigeria Are you being intentionally dumb? There are 4 Quarters in a year, the figure you posted contains 3 quarters, the result of the last quarter we are in is not yet out, how then can you claim that’s nigeria figure for 2022? And even going by the IMF data, Nigeria gdp per capita is higher than that of Kenya(and no, I’m not talking about ppp). https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/profile/KENAnd even IMF is still adding a projected when talking about data from 2022.

Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Shaytun: 8:16pm On Dec 20, 2022 |
jl115: they calculate Gdp quarterly not yearly bru.. Every quarter we get updated figures.... Why is this difficult to understand? You are the one confusing yourself. The figure you posted stands for Q3 2022 not the whole year of 2022. Why are you finding this hard to understand? There’s a reason why every country GDP figure on most international data system is still reflecting the figures of 2021 not the half baked figures of 2022. |
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Shaytun: 3:47pm On Dec 20, 2022 |
jl115: it represents the GDP as it currently stands No, it represents the GDP as it’s currently stands at the end of the third quarter which is in September 2022. We are now in December in the fourth quarter, so therefore that figure does not represent the current reality of thing |

obaaderemi: R I P, you are not smart. If it's population why is Ethiopia not up close to Nigeria, or why's Angola not up there if it's oil?
Your GDP like I've maintained is less than $100bn. Which part of that is hard for you to understand?
How can Kenya have a bigger economy than Nigeria when you are stuck with tea as your biggest export? Your revenue target is already faltering under Ruto. You are borrowed up to your eyeballs and your debtor will start calling in their loans as from 2023. Your prognosis is scary, what with droughts and all? Try catching up with morroco first. Learn to crawl before you try flying. Kenya GDP should be around 90-91 Billion Dollars based on the analysis I did. They have added like 20B$ to their GDP in five years, not bad for a tiny EA country. |

rvp20182: Captive power is cheaper - because Dangote can import and burn coal. Yes there will be capex but it will eventually pay out.
Dangote is expensive because there is no real competition.
His gameplan is well know - reduce the price of cement to bare minimum - crush competition - gain market share - then jack up the price.
He can only do that in your Zoo - everywhere else he has struggled - because the playing field is more even.
Nigeria you need to be connected to buy basic stuff like dollars. Lmao, Dangote doesn’t have a competitor you say? BUA cement is bigger than any cement company in east Africa. Lafarge Nigeria is bigger than every company in Kenya bar safaricom. Stop being a dunce |

For banditry coming from outside as well as the border control, you have to be more careful because you may not fully know your enemies who are outside. which enemy? Non-state actor or state actor? The five major reason for banditry and kidnapping in nigeria are: Poverty Proliferation of Arms in the Sahel Instability in chad, Niger and Burkina Faso Climate change Inadequacy of our security agency Religion No state actor is behind the bandit and kidnappers in nigeria, everyone is just being an opportunist. Some of this candidate do not have any ideas, they just want to be the president.
