It seems like some individuals enjoy arguing just for the sake of it. Logically and in every other sense, Nigeria's reported unemployment rate being 4% is impossible. Even though the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) presented this figure, it's hard to accept it as true, and I think most rational people would agree. Supporting the ruling APC doesn't mean blindly endorsing every statement or overlooking obvious flaws from the government or it's agencies.. Critiquing these matters is essential, but I anticipate that you might use my words to continue your sentimental amala turning. Nonetheless, I won't engage in further replies.
I’m not going to engage in an argument that leads no where.

Your argument is from an emotional stand point, I’m arguing from a data perspective.

My Good advice to you is to read the report and understand it before trying to make sense of it, otherwise all you are saying here is meaningless ranting.

Well...it depends on what they termed unemployment.

Cos if you believe the unemployed citizens in UK is higher than that of Nigeria...

Then there is nothing to talk about
Except hard data does not care about anyone feelings or emotions.

By international measure unemployment is termed those who works zero hours weekly.

What's that methodology bros?

In most developed countries, they tabulate the number of people collecting Govt unemployment benefits, and they do a survey of tens of thousands of households.

We have already failed on the first methodology. On the second methodology, if the census takers don't chop the money and fake the results, our youths will tell them they are employed while making small chops

I guess these girls making small chops and making N10k per month are employed then
How exactly did we fail the first methodology?

Don’t you see how ridiculous you sound? You alleged you don’t know the methodology that was used and in the same breath said the methodology used by NBS is a failure.

Never seen a more contradicting statement in my entire life.

I already knew about this.
My question is do you believe we have 4% unemployed population?
You are asking the Wrong Questions.

The Question you should be asking is why do we have such a high number of people categorised as informally employed.

Nigeria vs UK is very funny.

The brain behind this rubbish is definitely suffering from an undisclosed but deadly brain issue
They shouldn’t adopt a methodology that is being used worldwide?

Hearing report that the head of Wagner Evgenyi Prigozhin has been killed by Russia military command.

If the news is confirmed to be true, it will support my earlier postulation that Wagner and Russia goals in the Sahel are not the same.

It's just a coincidence that the interest of ECOWAS, the United States and France overlap.

For the United States it's to preserve her $350 million drone bases in Agadez and Niamey.

For ECOWAS it's to put an end to the proliferation of coup 'd'etats in the region.

For France it's the continuous exploitation of resources like Uranium and political influence. For that Paris needs a permanent foothold in the region.

Copied
Something that is simple as ABC to any reasonable folks.

It was because of ecowas not taking a hardline stance that coups were occurring in succession in just 4 years.

If the coup in Niger is allowed to stand, then expect another coup in the region in the not so distant future.

False and we’ve already proven you wrong multiple times why are you acting like a broken record? Because much of your argument desperately depends on it?

So I’m guessing you were banking on us not bothering to actually read through the article and just hoping we’d take your word for it? grin

Because I read through the article thoroughly and it says nothing that supports your argument or disproves ours.

ECOWAS Commission President Omar Alieu Touray told last month that they were considering two options: a brigade of 5,000 troops at an annual cost of $2.3 billion or the deployment of troops on demand at an annual cost of $360 million.

Thursday's statement did not spell out how the force would be funded, which countries would participate or how many troops and what hardware they could contribute.

Nothing was said on notifying the US and(or) begging for assistance. Releasing a statement outlining the possibilities and estimated costs has nothing to do with the inability to project or begging. That’s standard transparency when it comes to military planning which can be observed from every country.

If your goal was to waste my time congratulations clown; but don’t try this $hit on us again we got no problems continuing to light your @ss on fire. wink
I was about to respond to the clown😁.

I don’t know what gave him the insinuation that we were not going to read through his link, probably thought he was arguing with dumb folks like himself.

Except you are lying and Reuters didn’t say any of that.

When I ask for source, it means you provide me with the link to the story.

You are not talking to kindergarten kids here, provide a link to the story or just accept you are bare face liar.

For proper context, the richest man in Africa is a Nigerian and the second richest man is a South African, Johann Rupert. The personal income tax Rupert paid, as individual, to the South African government in 2022 was more than the entire tax collected by the 36 states of Nigeria in 2021.

Na, this country poor men.

Read the post you just replied , you'll see ECOWAS even today begging for the US and UN to finance their 1 million a day expenditure to carry out a Mission in Niger...

I've already given you evidence from Liberia where all the vehicle used by Ecomog came from the UN
Any source to back this your purported claim of 1 million dollar a day?

A brilliant move.

Can be short termism though. As long as the when and how the liquidity is injected into the market is kept secret
Exactly.

Create panic and force those shorting the Naira to dump their asset, nothing justifies a 25% premium decrease in Naira value in the parallel market in just 2 weeks, when there’s no effect of the demand on our economy.

I hope the Naira find its fundamental value quickly. Because I know our people, always looking for a way to game the system 😁

Secured a loan on a future crude oil payment.

Waiting for more details to be able to scrutinise the deal more, but it’s definitely a great move, send the right signal to the market. Bad news for those hoarding dollars.

Lawd!!

I just dey see the video. Mehhn, these terrorists are very well armed. Look at what the have on their hands. These people are well sponsored by politicians of this country. I remember when buhari said they have names of the sponsors. What did he do with it? Everything was swept under the carpet. This is why Nigeria may never get well again..cos every system is heavily compromised. I have listened to a voice note of a soldier fighting terrorist, complaining bitterly that their agenda is being compromised. I actually know a young guy in the lagos that joined the Nigerian army fews ago...and he was killed this year.

Read David said that Nigerian media houses has 10x the infos at his disposal but they will never release it cos they are heavily compromised as well.
Lmao.

Because of a video that has been circulating online and the terrorist themselves posted?

Chai….omo who do you na this thing mehn.
