A friend’s wife canceled their long-awaited wedding just 24 hours before the big day.

The couple began planning the wedding in January 2024, though their love story started much earlier, during their undergraduate years at the University of Arkansas. After nearly a decade of getting to know each other, they were finally ready to say "I do."

Both families, scattered across neighboring states, had already gathered and checked into nearby hotels, ready to celebrate the union.


Although the couple lived in the West, they wanted their wedding to have a strong Yoruba traditional vibe. They had their native attire custom-made and shipped by a logistics company to their home in Arkansas. However, just 72 hours before the wedding, they received devastating news—the shipping company had lost their parcel, which contained their wedding outfits.

The bride fainted upon hearing the news and was rushed to the hospital. While at the hospital, a family member heard about the situation and recommended Tenders World, a logistics and e-commerce firm. Miraculously, within 48 hours, Tenders World sourced the right materials, tailored the attires to perfection, and had them delivered to the U.S. just hours before the wedding.

Sometimes I just laugh when some of these guys are excited that their women don't demand from them and they think it's healthy. A woman who value you and see you as her support will demand from you reasonably else someone else is filling that space, all women like money, the one wey no ask anything from you is just pitying you as she don know say you no get or she just dy pretend to get the ring.

Did you upload a Postgraduate transcript? Do you think it's the right thing since are applying for the highest program of a PGC? Anyway, I did not upload any form of my secondary institution certificate as it requires a post-secondary transcript.

For my program I uploaded...NECO, CV, post grad transcript. I heard they will start reviewing applications from 15th oct and will issue first batch of acceptances by November 1st.

I applied for Winter 2025 which was considered January.

Hello the senior Guru in the house. I submitted an application to Holland College, but I was only given the instruction to upload my Degree Cert, Transcript, and Resume, I was wondering why I was not given the space to upload my SOP and maybe other writing samples. Or should I just upload my academic SOP in any other spaces given since they allowed two docs for each?

I am about to pay $100 for the Holland College Application fee, what are the chances of acceptance?

What if I am given an offer, would the old passport submitted to the school not contradict the new passport when out? would that raise an eyebrow during a visa application? additionally, I am almost at the surrounding of applying for programs at Humber College, but most of their courses that fall under my preferred course of interest, Communication are open for January 2024, but they had none for May 2024. Can I still apply for that as the school says they may process admission within 4-5 weeks? Can I really meet up??

If you are trying to use your naira card it won't work it has stopped working long ago, kindly download chipper app and used it.

I am am trying to initiate an application fee payment for Holland College using my First Bank master card, but it seems not going through, could any one advise me on an efficient mode of doing this with out a drop of sweat? And additionally, all through my registration steps before it transcend me to make payment, there was no space created for me to upload my academic transcript and other required document for graduate school admission.
