Many of the people getting rejects now, some of them didnt read through threads, they would just come after being delayed and say " i have been a silent follower, etc" ...also the ones who got scammed by agents. Knowledge is power..that course you want to study, someone in the past threads might have gotten admission into the best school for it... its your advantage.... Just try! |

enility: Gurus in the house happy new year, everyone that has applied for a student visa can be called a guru because he/she is exposed. I have a request to make here. I am in my finals studying at the Lagos State university and I want to leave this country called Nigeria. If ASUU calls off strike I know my school won't take time before we write our final exams. By the grace of God I don't have issues with result. Lemme not digress, the request I want to make is this, can someone here mentor me on steps of writing required exams for MSc in any foreign country where I can have access to scholarships? I have read a lot of threads, please I need a mentor who can provide me with his/her number. Then I can be tutored. I want to leave this country before 2020 January. Thanks in anticipation you havent read the infotmations on threads..you only opened them. Start reading from page from of this thread...and read chapter 13 and then 12. By the time you finish up, everyone would think you have gone for your own visa interview. There is strike so you have the time to read...no one can give you all the information in even a whole thread. All the best |

What happens if I cannot provide the last examination result from my secondary school. I am not referring to WAEC result. I can provide the scratch card. I really do not understand why they require the secondary school result since I am applying to a masters program and not undergraduate. Please if you have done WES evaluation before please enlighten me on how you fulfilled this particular requirement (high school examination result). I'm analyzing it as that sense of pride and a need to climb cadres and outshine which is naturally inherent in all women.
You may be a good person, a great friend, and that would even make them push you farther away because finally, they have something you don't. Levels don change and the change has to be felt.
If you have questionable character and bad habits, they'll still push you away.

Mazzykay: My visa interview was for 6:45 today, I got to the embassy around 6:00 and after everything we moved into the building around 7:10 or so....
Vo: Good morning sir Me: Good morning, how are you sir? (Didn't answer) Vo: so why are you going to the US? Me: to pursue my bachelors degree in digital communication & multimedia Vo: how many schools did you apply to? Me: two ( I named them) Vo: so why did you choose southwest Minnesota over Harrisburg? Me: southwest Minnesota already admitted me while I'm still on a waiting list for Harrisburg university Vo: how did you find out about the school and Why southwest Minnesota state University? Me: well my high school colleague got admitted there and her name is ...... she told me about the numerous opportunity I would get from the sch and when she told me I begin my research on the school and I found out it was the best for me, smsu don't charge out of state tuition, that means I get to pay the same amount with a Minnesota resident..smsu is also accredited by the North Central association of colleges and it's part of the universities in America with the highest ranking and it's cheap which makes it easier for my mom to fund my education Vo: okay did you sit for any exam? Me: Yeah, SAT Vo: what was your score? Me: 1150 Vo: what your highest level of education Me: high school and I'm having my WAEC result here with me Vo: when did you graduated from High school? Me : 2013 Vo: 2013? Me: Yes Vo: so what have you been doing? Me: I went into apprenticeship of computer training which lasted for about a year and went into an apprenticeship of cinematography Vo: okay, who's your sponsor? Me: my mom Vo: what does your mom do? Me: she's a building contractor, she also supplies building materials to private companies and the government Vo: okay unfortunately you're not eligible for a visa at this time.....
Guys I know I'm not perfect but what do you think happened I don't understand, this is my first attempt tho.....I'm planning on reapplying again i feel so convinced you didnt read up to 100pages of chapter 13... you people should always read back , you could have used another word in place of aprenticeship, there are numerous oppurtunities in all schools...why not mention what makes yours standout? the highschool.mate is even so unncesarary... even though you have been out of school for long... if you had read numerous transcripts you would have been able to answer questions professionally like a graduate student.... please load chapter 13 and 12...read.. make screenshots..and refire! |

It has a population of 128,421 people, with a median age of 29 years. It consists majorly of whites, Hispanic and blacks. It is popularly regarded as a college city and hosts both the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University. It is also known for its music and art VO: Why don't you want to study this course in your country? Me: The health informatics program is quite young in Nigeria and just a handful of universities offer the course at the moment. Studying in the US will provide more quality education through research and practical knowledge as much as possible, so it is quite an obvious choice for me. please try to reread old transcripts.... i am not trying to be a bad belle o.. they will mostly ask why usa...instead of denton, plus you should talk about weaknesses you find in the universities offering the course, instead of saying you want to study abroad because the universities offering the course are few in nigeria..... cos does it being few mean the lecturers are substandard and lack knowledge? .... it may not work... |

Nutshell44: Travel transcript. So I couldn’t literally sleep that night,my dad took me to the airport around 6am for a 12pm flight. Got to the airport around 7am. Waited till 8:30 for check in to start. I checked in around 8:40. Then went straight to immigration counters for clearance. Then boarded the Emirates aircraft at exactly 11:05. The plane left by 12:05. It was a long journey to Dubai first. Almost 8 hours. Got to Dubai around 11pm Dubai time. I don’t want to criticize muritala Muhammed airprort, but you people need to see Dubai International Airport DXB. I was astonished by everything I saw. They have a system that works. Layover was for 3 hours. Then we boarded the next plane around 2:35. From Dubai to Jfk. A 14 hour 45 minutes flight. That flight was so long. 14 hours nobi beans oo. But the in-flight entertainment was so suberp that u will be occupied throughout the flight. Lots of latest films and music. I even watched arsenal vs bbournemouth aboard. That experience is one in a lifetime. Good food ,hostess were no nice. Got to Jfk around 8:45 USA time. Then went straight to port of entry line. Poe: hello. Why are you here. Me: for my studies Poe: lemme have ur i20 and admission letter. (Hands it. She checks) Okay. Have it. Where are you going to be staying now. It’s almost Xmas. Me: I have a friend in New York. Poe: ok. Stamps passport. Welcome to the United States Then I went to claim my bag and my guy was waiting already. Mehn the way I felt at that moment I saw him has no name. That feeling is nameless. But one mad brezz first blow me as I stepped out. I was like yes. This is USA. It was so cold. 2 degrees. This country is so beautiful. Then you start to wonder what’s wrong with Nigeria. Funniest part is that. Our leaders come here and they see how things are done, yet they still act like bunch of fools. It’s so annoying. I hope Nigeria will be better someday. But it is better to be praying for Nigeria from another county you are so lucky...chai... i pray mine comes too... may you be more succesful than you think of there...amen..... enjoy yourself brother!! |
