I make use of XOS 2.2 (Chameleon) and can testify to some of these features... Great piece though |
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has urged candidates for the 2019 UTME to adhere strictly to the printing guidelines with regards to their examination slips. This is contained in the board’s weekly bulletin tagged ‘JAMBULLETIN’, by the Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, and issued in Lagos on Sunday. According to the bulletin, printing of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) notification slip is on-going, as the board has since made it ready for all candidates who registered for the examination. “The notification is to allow candidates know their examination schedules, which includes time, date and venue of the examination. “Candidates are therefore advised to take the printing order seriously in order for them to have an idea of the location of their centres, well ahead of the examination. “It is also to enable them prepare for all necessary logistics of being at their respective centres on time,” the bulletin stated. It added that the e-slips of the candidates had been placed on their JAMB profiles created at the point of registration. “For those who are unable to access their slips through their portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/ , the board has provided a step by step process of making the printing easy. “First, they should go to the official JAMB portal, www.jamb.org.ng/efacility /printexaminationslip. “Next, candidates would be required to enter their registration number, telephone number used in vending the pin at the point of registration or email in the appropriate column and follow the next command,” it said. Venddetta:I smell foul play in this robbery attack |
Drversatile:So sad |
What a tragic news ! Dr. Urueye Stephen aka Sarutobi, a House Officer at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, who graduated from the University of Lagos on Tuesday April 2nd, has died after he was stabbed by some robbers. According to reports, Stephen was walking along Idi Araba road where LUTH is situated when he was accosted by the robbers who stabbed him before carting away his properties found on him. His friend and former UNILAG SUG president, Adeyeye Olorunfemi, who took to Facebook to mourn him, wrote; And we lost Stephen. We lost this young Doctor who wants to save lives to insecurity. He died 24 hours after his graduation. After 8 years of struggle in the jungle called Nigeria. He was stabbed by armed robbers and died of stab wounds right in front of a government teaching hospital- LUTH. Stab wounds! The medical students said they have always complained about the frequent robbery attacks around and on the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba Campus but the Management keep turning deaf ears. You know ‘noisemakers’ like us like to protest. But you don’t want to protest because you don’t want to die. Events have shown us that you don’t have to partake in any protest before you die in Nigeria. Just be a Nigerian! We are all in this together. My heart is heavy! This is sad! #BlackFriday

Your spec bro, being curved or not isn't a major point of argument. Samsung Galaxy S10 for me looks great , it checklists most customer needed specs...other 'buts' are more personal and indifferent choices |
With Valentine's Day ongoing, a lot of personalities like Victoria Kimani, Lola Okoye, Hushpuppi have been making rounds on social media with either pictures or videos showing slightly controversial and festive moods Nollywood Actor, Tony Umez was also in the spirit of love as he shared this throw back photo of him locking lips with his wife and wrote: "Throw Back to 14 Feb. 2011 when our love was HOT. Fasttrack to 14 Feb. 2019, our love is MUCH MUCH HOTTER. To the woman who completes me, YOU ARE MY FOREVER VALENTINE. Love you to the MAX." While some say this was another PR stunt, others deem the photo inappropriate and uncalled for. What do you think?

So, who's going to be purchasing this phone? ![]() |
yusfatedeeprof:Right, not everybody sees the need for such large storage, especially for personal use. |
chukwugoziegi: they must have done a lot of technical work on the chip, haven't seen it in use though, but the phone would be fine... No be Samsung |
Welcome guys, in this post i would be disclosing one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2019, the Samsung Galaxy S10. I have been seeing pictures and videos everywhere on this new 'S' series, the most amazing feature that steals the show is the possibility of a 1 Terabyte storage chip the flagship may come with. For now, only models have been issued out, the official launch has been speculated to be in February 20, 2019. WHAT TO EXPECT 1. Variety: This Samsung model is most likely to come in three levels: - Samsung Galaxy S10E/Lite (5.8" display) - Samsung Galaxy S10 (6.1" display) - Samsung Galaxy S10+ (6.44" display) These different grades would likely vary in size, battery capacity and camera system with a high chance of the S10+ bearing a triple camera system and a proposed 4000mAh 2. Pricing All of these varieties definitely would come in very premium prices, ranging from about 250,000 - 400,000 naira. Kindly note that these are guesses and estimates, but at least you can have a budget view and know how not-so cheap these models are 3. Headphone Jack One recent trend of high-end smartphones is the absence of headphone jacks and usage of wireless ear pods. Surprisingly, these models come with a headphone jack and might be the last Samsung flagship to patronise the use of wired earpieces and the likes. 4. Other features The possibility of a 1TB storage chip sounds insane, it's obvious Samsung is putting a lot of investment to this new flagship and isn't ready to give it out for a budget-friendly price. Besides this, the model comes with an ultra-thin bezel and punch hole cameras More detailed features would be revealed once it's formally launched Note: These are possibilities, some of which are very certain. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 should be announced soon

Hello guys, welcome to another tech review, this post is dedicated to the newly unveiled foldable smartphones and why i think they are not ready yet. Of recent, certain companies like Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola have publicly presented their new face of smartphone technology, as well as LG, Oppo and some other companies yet to unveil theirs. These companies recently embarked on foldable smartphones to revolutionize traditional smartphone designs, notches and bezels. This new tech is super innovative and yet to gain full acceptance, and as it stands it has so many flaws and shortcomings, which include : 1. Insufficient technological support As you can see in the pictures below, some of the foldable smartphones do not fold completely and leaves off a solid hinge on folding instead of a flat thin folded layer. This issues arise due to the fact that today's tech hasn't made provision for very foldable LED display screens 2. Software From some videos on YouTube on the Xiaomi foldable smartphone, the folding process is seen to be filled with flaws in the later parts of the video as you either get glitches or unnecessary animations on the screen while folding the phone. Also, the delay and response time of these phones on every fold and unfolding is a major let down https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ4m0ISWEPs 3. Use Case This simply has to do with the reason why one should use a foldable smartphone. Besides, the thrill of having to switch from a tablet look to a typical smartphone look all in a single step of folding and unfolding, there isn't much reason to own a foldable smartphone. The idea of foldable smartphones is new age tech, we probably might not see much of it in Nigeria. At least it tells us companies are thinking big and the smartphone world is set to transform from what it used to be. Let me and fellow nairalanders know what you think about this new trend, is it a YAY or a NAY ? and do we need them in Nigeria?

MannaFromHeaven:Of course... But if she goes out almost naked, does that make things better for herself as a lady... Forget the rape panorama, decency is golden |
PS: The lady is a Nigerian, and it happened in a public bus in Lagos |
963AvatarSpirit:True....they would say dressing doesn't matter... But really, let's be realistic, this lady's breast are just falling out of her dress, no bras, nothing. Men should learn to control themselves as well and understand boundaries, but some ladies need to know how to dress |
A male Twitter user noticed the breast of a female passenger spilling out of her dress in a bus in Lagos and he took a photo and shared online. The poster has been called out by some for taking her photo and sharing it with her face on display, while some have defended the poster, saying if the woman can step out half-dressed then she shouldn’t complain about being shamed for it. See uncovered photos and Twitter comments here: https://earlybaze.com.ng/2019/01/23/womans-breast-spills-out-of-her-dress-in-a-public-bus-in-lagos-and-man-takes-her-photo-and-shares-online/

seunfly:Unfortunately, TECNO commands more trust than Oukitel C12 in Nigeria. These simple details determine the price...just like you going to a boutique and a small shop to get a cloth, more often than not, u don't get them for the same price... There are TECNO offices abundant in Nigeria in case of warranty issues and faults, but what happens to a Oukitel C12 phone when some things pop up...everything is influenced by demand... |
bravesoul247:It saddens me to say phones aren't getting cheaper...everything's about preference... M mainly looking out for quality specs...if you not in search of barrier breaking specs....then i guess this phone isn't budget friendly for you |
bravesoul247:You obviously ignored the specs... Do your findings on phones with above average specs and get their prices...my consideration of a budget friendly phone is one that gives a fair and not-so high price for specs...search for a phone with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 4000mAh battery, Android 8.1 and those camera specs listed, then reply me the name and price if it falls below the range for infinix hot S3X... |
seunfly:Lol, most phones coming out are way more expensive sadly... |
xprez:JUMIA should be better i guess...or maybe i just don't know much about Konga |
TarOrfeek:Not all are stupid though |
TarOrfeek:Lol |
ONE PLUS 6T REVIEWS With the tech world improving, a lot of high end smartphones keep popping everywhere with mouth watering features. Most Nigerians are familiar with these smart phones in the likes of iPhone, Samsung and the rest, but not many can relate to the ONE PLUS 6T. Considered as one of the fastest phones of 2018, the ONE PLUS 6T was launched in Nigeria last year with an amazing Android 9.0 OS, leveraging it above most phones using either an 8.0 or 8.1 OS version. Massively shoving off iPhone X in a couple of specs, it has a larger and better display with a quality camera provision, best part is it isn't as ultra-priced as the recent iPhone flagships KEY FEATURES: - 6.4 inch display - Tear drop notch and facial recognition - In-display fingerprint scanner - Android 9.0 - 6GB/8GB RAM - 128/256 GB ROM - 16MP (Front Camera) - Dual 16MP + 20MP (Rear Camera) - 3,700 mAh + Fast Charging Unlike most manufacturers that try to imitate other companies and end up launching a below standard model, ONEPLUS 6T successfully appealed to the wants of the masses making up for camera and storage. The only shortcoming for me is it's lack of a headphone jack, and not-so large battery capacity. SUMMARY: If you have the budget for a high end smartphone and can't still cope with the ultra prices from the latest iPhone and Samsung flagships, this is the phone for you. It beats a number of these flagships in some key features and comes for a range of about 220,000 - 250,000 naira. PS: This phone was voted by popular YouTube unboxer, Marques BrownLee as the best smartphone of 2018. The flagship motto is "Unlock Your Speed". Interested parties can link me up to purchase a OnePlus 6T

Parollawd:The twist to this is that the movement woyld have supporters |
Kidaholic:I don't understand myself too, the lady is so confused |
Nollywood actress, Chika Ike has recently released bikini photos of herself, showing her voluptuous shape and making massive rounds on social media. While this photo has caused some to adore her youthful looking body, others have been skeptical believing she had involved herself in surgery and body work.
