Keep crying and wailing while Asiwaju keep soaring higher
Your people were mocking our president few days ago thinking their evil and negative energy would prevail over him or their propaganda is a sign of international rejection to our darling president but God keep humiliating and keep them in negative dot in a circle confinement
Everything he typed is actually true. How is Asiwaju soaring higher helping the country?

Not everyone that speaks against the shit our so called leaders do that both you and I know is an opposition. Even Asiwaju ardent supporters have spoken against many of his unfavorable policies since he assumed power.
PoliticsRe: NASS Members Salary Cannot Take Them Home - Hon. Benjamin Kalu by Sheuns(m): 9:48am On Feb 27, 2024
Why has none of these lawmakers come out to tell us the amount the salary is and the amount the allowances are? It appears they all became the same ones elected into those positions irrespective of party affiliation.

A civil servant’s salary and allowance and easily be known based on their grade levels.

They’re not owned by the federal government. It’s an organization.

What does the poster mean by they don’t have money to transport themselves back to Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: Tinubu To Visit Qatar In March by Sheuns(m):
“Don’t believe a rumor until it is officially denied. “
If we ask these guys and their supporters what benefits come with these travels, they’ll say FDI, investors etc.

Why not use these money wasted on travels to buy tractors and other mechanized farming equipment to assist farmers.

What investments do they want to attract from Qatar that has the same oil we have as their main source of revenue? Do they want them to come build refineries here or what?
PoliticsRe: "We Are Busy": Qatar Turns Down Tinubu’s Request To Visit For Business Talks. by Sheuns(m): 7:01pm On Feb 24, 2024
Why must we travel up and down just to attract investors?

What’s wrong in using those millions of dollars used to travel about to support home grown businesses and factories.

We keep doing one thing same way and expect different result. Same cycle, same outcomes.

PoliticsRe: CBN Pegs Rate For Import Duty Payment by Sheuns(m): 11:03pm On Feb 23, 2024
Why is the custom’s charging import duty in USD? If it is charged in Naira there wouldn’t be a need to adjust and readjust exchange rates.

Peg import duties in Naira and let importers seek Naira to pay. Not changing exchange rate all the time.

Other countries I know of charge import duties in their local currencies and not pegging exchange rate at USD.

BusinessRe: Lagos To Convert Computer Village, Ikeja To Residential Area by Sheuns(m): 8:02pm On Feb 21, 2024
AK481:
Once opon a time there was a yaba market ,that was doing so well and had the biggest line of clothing business ,the levy and tax paid made it one of the richest LG not just in lagos but Nigeria .

But one thing made the government of lagos sad , too sad. It was controlled by igbos ,the igbos who are typically traders .

They closed the market, built a gigantic mall and gave it to a yoruba man to lease or rent ,but first let the yorubas be the priority to rent to.

Today, the mall is being rented by snakes and lizard ,only the down floor have spar.

So where did the igbos go, well they still remained in a corner there, making their monies .

This ikeja computer village is another example .it will fail .
Means you’ve never been to Tejuoso. It’s filled up. And it contains majority of Igbos. The clothing and textiles market is bigger than what it was at Tejuoso. Do well to research and have facts before commenting.
PoliticsRe: Oyebanji To LG Bosses: Monthly Security Council Meetings Now Mandatory by Sheuns(m): 5:39pm On Feb 21, 2024
Are local govt chairmen employed by the state governors? The way governors boss them around is concerning. Until INEC takes control of LGA elections, these governors will see the LG chairmen as their appointees.

What the Igbo man saw as far back as 1966 is what they are just seeing today

Make I follow you shout....we die here!!!!
I’m sure every tribe knows we have to break apart. Hypocrisy and the oil that was found in the south south was what entered their eyes. Now that the oil is no longer as good as it was and they claim to have found some in their regions, they want to break apart. Coupled with the fact that they’ve succeeded in destabilizing the entire country.

What a shame.

NaijaSumigan:
These thieves are the enemy of Nigeria. Until they all are gathered in a building and killed, Nigeria won't work.

Many of these politicians have several millions and billions stolen and kept in their various accounts, yet they claim economy isn't fine.

Tomorrow, they will still steal again. They all are grown up fools... Imagine at such age and position, stealing funds that are meant to develop the Country.

You can see something is wrong with their heads... Fools and very lazy sets of politicians... They see politics as a means to amass wealth... Lazy bastards
They are lazy and foolish as you’ve said. Why would people keep looting and stealing money meant for millions of people that entrust you to make good decisions for them.

An average black man is greedy. Greed is the main reason Africa as a continent isn’t progressing when compared to others.

PoliticsRe: Civil Servants Our Major Problem by Sheuns(m): 3:20pm On Feb 20, 2024
Why can’t the government put stringent laws in place that’ll punish these erring civil servants?

You know why? The governor, President that’s supposed to effect such laws is also culpable. Our leaders are bigger thieves.
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Business With Dollar If You Are Not Importer by Sheuns(m): 3:15pm On Feb 20, 2024
The person that sells yam that is home grown needs to buy shoes that may be imported or the materials used in making the shoes are imported.

When he gets to the market to buy a new shoe he realizes the price is higher than what it was last time. The only way he can afford to buy the shoe or other things that he needs that are imported is by adding some amount to the yams he sells to break even.

It’s called ripple effect.

nairalanda1:
Yeah, and where is the money to keep funding subsides, even the one we pay self cannot cover any roof of any house, using your analogy (Electricity subsidies cannot fund or cover anything much)

We have reached point zero. And I hold this APC government and the past APC government responsible, because they came in with ideas about diversification and raising non oil revenue...and they did not do that.
Payment of subsidies isn’t a bad thing. The main problem the government has with subsidy payments is the corruption in the process. They should tackle the corruption in the subsidy scheme and know what amount of petrol they’re paying subsidy on.

Punishing millions of Nigerians for a few people that the government knows are the culprits is insanity. It shows that both the present and past administrations do not have the balls to look the culprits in the face and deal with them.

I don’t know what version of Quran or Hadith these guys read. Even Saudi doesn’t preach all these infidels stuff.

Instead of preaching love and tolerance which is the bane of Islam, these guys keep preaching “we vs them” even for people that just go about their businesses.

DeLaRue:
Saying Tinubu knew what he was going to meet in government is ridiculous.

So, Tinubu knew Nigeria had only $3.7billion in its foreign reserve, not the $37 billion that the Buhari government led the country to believe.

Did Tinubu know that Emefiele, Buhari's assistant Tunde, and the Aso Rock gang stole billions of dollars and trillions of Naira?

Did Tinubu know that the Buhari government has sold most of the country's future oil production, collected the dollars and spent/stole it all?

Did Tinubu know that the past government was effectively handing over a virtually bankrupt country to him.

Why should Tinubu not blame the past government.
Don’t make excuses for a man that said he knows Nigeria’s problem and can solve them all.

He has said these time over. For someone that has never been in Federal position since he left governor office to say such is actually very myopic.

If Atiku or Osibanjo say they know Nigeria’s problems I’ll believe them more because they’ve seen how things run first hand.

Tinubu must fulfill his promises of fixing Nigeria and his people need to stop making excuses for him.

I still remember a lot of things he said during campaigns. He asked Nigerians not to pity him or give him a second chance should he fail.
PoliticsRe: UK Based Comedian, Seyi Law Says He Will Vote Tinubu Again If Given The Chance by Sheuns(m): 3:34am On Feb 19, 2024
The blames are now on governors.

This misinformation of increased revenue is silly. Increased revenue with hyperinflation translates to nothing. State governors don’t control the economy.
PoliticsRe: Sap Failed. Will Tinubu's 'reforms' Succeed - The Cable by Sheuns(m): 2:33pm On Feb 17, 2024
As long as we continue to follow everything IMF, world bank and so called renowned economists keep telling us to do without having to think of these will actually work for us , we’ll continue rubbing in circles.

All the economic experts that advocated for subsidy removal and floating of the Naira have all lost their voices now.

Makinde and Dapo Abiodun, what are you guys doing?

Build independent power stations and ensure top notch security. Then go out and attract more investors.

Goods are relatively cheaper to manufacture here now with the crazy Naira devaluation. These guys can come in, produce and export to other African countries from here.

Please turn our woes to our competitive advantage.

Learn from China
Learn what from China?

Did Chinese tell you they are interested in only foreign investors? Check out most investments done in China and you’ll find out about 3% is FDI the rest are local.

Government must encourage local investments. That’s the best way to go. FDI will come and take all their profits with them.
