Ok thanks, I will keep the drug in mind. My baby is getting better but throughout yesterday he was just restless and fussy, but since last night he has been calm. I haven't gone to see the doctor yet...cash restrains but will go this weekend cos I have lot of complains, his diaper rash is not going, to me it's getting worse and with blisters. I am using a zinc oxide and white petroleum based cream like sudocream but it's another brand and it's seems not to be working.

About the diaper rash, I think u should change his diaper, probably he is reacting to the one he is using at the moment and also don't let diaper stay too long in his bum bum, once it's very wet or once he poos, change immediately. My baby never had diaper rash and I don't use any rash cream or even valentine or powder, I only rub coconut oil there in the mrg after bathe. But I change his diaper on time.

@proudmum, there is no big deal about being induced, I was and within few hours, earlier than the doctors expectations sef. My prince came out. It will be easier for you by the Grace of God.

Hello mamas, pls oo. Yesterday makes it 7wks i had my angel. Was having menstrual cramps and later saw scanty flow of blood, by midnight, i was having serious abdominal discomfort.
On waking up dis morning, i started stooling with blood(about 5times) and havent been able to eat all day.
Menstrual flow is now heavy.

I saw my period 5 weeks after delivery and it was very heavy. I asked my doctor and he said it was normal that people differ and that's how my own system is and he said the funny thing is I may or may not see it next month and it will regulate itself.

Thank you all for the responses, was confused about the vaccines, saw 3 on the card I was given at health center, my hospital gives only 2 and a doctor told me 4 is to be given. Will go to the health center to get it.
As for the tips, the last time I fed him, I noticed there was small blood, is it safe to keep giving him cos when he burped, there was small blood that came out from his mouth. Should I just express or keep allowing him to suck

Sabi mamas good afternoon. Please help me what can I do about my sore and bruised nipples, even nipple cream is not working. Whenever my LO puts his mouth gbam, it rings in my brain till he is done sucking.

Please how do I make baby sleep or play by himself sometimes, he always want to be rocked to sleep, he does not like backing at all, he will start screaming once I back him. Then must I carry him Everytime he cries once I have fed him, changed his diaper and dome all necessary.

According to grandmas they say it is inuwo in yoruba meaning colic in English. When I took him to the hospital, the doctor said he will outgrow it and we should not administer any drug. So i v left him. I also notice it is reducing sha. My Lo poos alot o, dont even know if it is after every feed but I observed it's quite a lot and was told it's normal. The quantity of the poo is always small, except maybe once or twice a day that it is much.
I dont think we should worry much about these things.

My son is a month old too and he does the same while he sleeps. He stretches alot while sleeping and even when awake.

D rashes may be due to him achieving a milestone,I use agnesia powder nd it works 4 my 2 children if its original.abt d hair even me wan do afro bt eela chop d hair finish.I had implant contraceptive fixd,d 1st 3 mnths was hellish as I bled seriously bt its almost 9 mnths nw nd am very okay as it has settled.I think its beta 2 do test first

Ftm with tons of questions please senior mamas, no vex.
First is please which shampoo can be used and do i have to do all of the hair special care for my son, although I plan to do afro for him till he is 1 cos he is very hairy.
Second is I noticed some rashes on my son's face, I felt it can't be heat rashes cos its only on his face and that's the part of his body that is never covered. I feel it's a reaction but I don't know to what, he uses coconut oil as cream and Johnson soap to bathe.
Lastly, please which family method has the lesser side effect?

Teammate mi, one of the things that helped me then, i don't know if it worked sha but I had strong contractions after and it was based on nurse kaffy4bill's advice, if u can't walk or kpekus, sure u can dance. Just play music and dance gidi ghan. Pele dear.

pls mamas I nid help. my baby shakes and jerks a lot when she sleeps expecially her legs and hands. it started after delivery I have reported to d hospital they gave me antibiotics bt she still shakes and sleeps a lot. the jerking is uncontrollable except u hold her. they said I killed rat wen I was pregnant. pls mamas I cry when I see her do i. has any one experienced dis before.

Team mate, my baby jerks too though not too much, my mum also believes it is cos I took too much cold water while pregnant. Like our experienced mom's have said, they will get over it, it will stop.
My baby even makes this noise as he's stretching while tossing and turning also like one very fat baby. But I believe they will overgrow alot of things.

I think you should complain to your doctor. I had vaginal discharge almost truout pregnancy, sometimes smelly but never itchy, was told it was candida something, I was given cream( clitorimazole) at early stage and at 3rd trim I was given drugs to insert.
I can relate with the discomfort you r feeling, to help again, always ensure you r dry at all times, meaning get a panty liner u can wear so your panties don't get wet, change the liner often. Don't wear too tight clothes, easy on jeans and other tight trousers, sleep without panties for fresh air. Hope these helps.

Make I fear the juniors here, the cut cut thing no be small o. The pain ehn, my baby weighed 3.8kg, my cut was from front to back and sowing it was not funny at all. But above all, the pains and every comes a bundle of joy which makes all the tears worth it. The first 2 days will be painful, walking, sitting and all but before you know it, the pain is gone.

Please i need experienced peoples advice on how to manage the conflict between doctors advice as against parental guidance for new born babies.
I am a first time mom and i have been hearing too many conflicting things. During antenatal, we were taught several things from how to treat episiotomy by sitting on WARM water and not hot or steamy water but getting home after delivery, grandmas have a different say, they say its hot water.
More So is the issue of use of drugs, doctors say don't use any drug but parents say use a lot of things.
the most annoying one is when doctors say we shouldn't give water at all if we are doing exclusive but parents believe so much in intake of water.
How does one cope in these scenarios without compromising the child's safety and also not sounding rude or disobedient.

Good evening mamas. Please I am a first time mum and worried. My prince arrived late night on Saturday and up till now I am not lactating. I am kinda worried cos he's loosing weight, he has not posted more than once since birth and he sleeps alot. Although I v given him nan 1and still put him to the breast.
