So the first 4 hours was still childs play, second doze came by 5pm of which hubby was not home so it was nurse kaffy4bill that took me to the hospital. So when I got there I was given second doze and gbam, the story change. The contraction no be here, went from 3cm to 6cm within 4 hours and 8cm within the next one hour so I was taken to delivery room. Gbam them break my water and within 10 minites, they said 10cm oya push, na so push no push o, said u r good to go, push like u want to poo, push no come o, said madam don't waste the contractions I said I don't know how and when to push that they should help me oooo, they said I can only push by myself, after like 4 pushes, my baby popped out weighing 3.8kg. See tear of life. To God be the Glory. Sorry for the long story. |
First of all, let me say a wonderful and big thank you to God, I couldn't have done it without him. Then let me say a resounding thank you to nurse kaffy4bill,she did tremendously good. So the thing started on Friday night, I didn't go to work on Friday, I was dancing ni o, and gbam the contraction started. Was in so much pain I was crying, hubby had put box in d parlour but I was like wait, when it was 10:30 I said it had gone. So i went to sleep Then sat was antenatal day and before I left, I say make I kpekus o. Got to hospital, did class, even led the exercise session. Then went in to see the doctor, he did VE and said madam you r not going home that I was 2cm already. I said gbam it haff happen. So he said they will induce me to make it fastercos the baby's head was like down down already, he gave me a tablet and told me the next will be in 4 hours. Then he gave me castor oil too. @Cutielucy, the ice thingy ehn, e sweet ghan, when some people see me eating it, they start shouting haaa it's not good for the baby, I just roll my eyes and say story for the gods. You know how nigerians can say everything is not food for the baby As if they are doctor, even men whey never carry belle before. Team mates have people been asking you, sister, you never drop? It's so annoying now ehn that everywhere I go they say madam u never drop, mscheew as if na them put am there. |
mydreams25:Yesso, 5 out of the 12 of us and the interesting part of it was that we were still together till about 2pm o. It was a miracle. I saw the nurse today and when she saw me she said "you had better organise another tour to the labour room". It was an amazing day for all. |
Sincerely speaking leave your BIL and work on your husband winning over to your side. It takes strategy, you can't talk to him about the issue when he or you is angry, find a perfect time when he is happy or in a good mood. He is the one that will defend you. If you face his brother, believe me na you go suffer am later cos you will be seen as a bad wife. Face your husband, let him feel the heat you are feeling but in a strategic way, you can reserve yourself, keep mute, let him see you are not happy, make him ask you what is wrong. You know the man you married and should have a way of getting his heart. |
Hello people. The house has been so quiet today, hope everyone is fine? Is 2.8kg ok at 36 weeks plus 1 day. Fellow team June mates where r you o. Let's encourage eachother as we get closer and please is anyone else eating ice block like me? And lemme share this with my fellow people here jare. During my last antenatal, I told the nurse taking us classes that I wanted to enter the delivery room just to see how the place is, prepare myself o, so other mamas also agreed, we were about 12 that did the class and guess what, after the visit to the labour room, 5 people gave birth that day and all of them showed no sign of labour before o. Even the lady that was gisting with me. God is wonderful. |

Please senior mama's I have a serious question, is it normal to be having like menstrual pain and I am in my 34th week, also my pelvic area hurts badly I can't walk well or turn well when lying down. Is this also part of the package? E saanu mi o. Teammates do u feel the same or na only me waka come? |
@sayoberry, it is well with you and your family. God grant your mom eternal rest. |
I live at ketu axis in Lagos state, electricity has been horrible from the day I moved to this area, about a year ago. We have not had light for 4 straight days now, days we have light, it's always not more than 2 hours per day. The whole neighbourhood runs on generator. This is very bad and frustrating. the only thing I plead from buhari is atleast 12 hours of light per day, gradually we will get to 24 hours but for now just 12 hours is all I ask, is that too much from our leaders? |
Bia @sheweezy, why my name no dey here...#rolls eyes# congratz @ cutekonkolo
() @cutekonkolo, congratulations and kisses to Lo. @teamjune mamas, please m i the only one feeling heavy and slow lately, I can't even walk fast like before or stand up or sleep anyhow. God is our muscle |
belabouche123:My classmate, we are in the same shoes, i have been having the same pain, not serious also but like mild menstrual cramps. i asked some doctors and was told it is normal, body preparing for the real thing. It will surely end in praise for us all in Jesus Name. |
