This morning, the latest flagship of Xiaomi’s sub-brand, the Redmi K30S Ultra went on sale. Immediately after that, Zeng Xuezhong, vice president of Xiaomi and president of the smartphone department issued a statement, announcing a new record. In all platforms, the sales exceeded 100,000 units in one minute.

The poster shows that all platforms here include the Xiaomi stores and the official platforms of JD.com, Tmall and Suning.

Since November 1 is the first day of Double Eleven, the Redmi K30S Ultra is available at a discounted price of 2,299 yuan ($343) instead of 2,599 yuan ($388). Thus, we are dealing with the lowest-priced flagship of the Snapdragon 865 so far.

Many claim that the Redmi K30S is not much popular. And this is quite surprising. But there is a certain reason behind this. As Xiaomi Pan Jiutang said, this handset is in a short supply. So not all users can get their hands on it. As a result, the phone decreases demand.

Anyway, the second batch of the Redmi K30S Ultra smartphones will arrive on November 4.

A Christian crowdfunding site has raised more than $520,000 to help cover legal fees for Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse.

The GiveSendGo site, created shortly after Rittenhouse shot three Black Lives Matter protesters in the Wisconsin city on Aug. 25, killing two, is sponsored by a group called “Friends of the Rittenhouse family,” which is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

The group set an initial goal of $500,00 but had surpassed that by Monday, with nearly $523,000 in contributions.

“Now, Kyle is being unfairly charged with murder 1, by a DA who seems determined to capitalize on the political angle of the situation,” the page reads. “The situation was clearly self-defense, and Kyle and his family will undoubtedly need money to pay for the legal fees.”

“Let’s give back to someone who bravely tried to defend his community.”

Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested at his home in Antioch, Illinois, the day after the Kenosha shooting.

The teen was with a group of armed militia members who said they sought to protect Kenosha businesses from looters amid Black Lives Matter protests in the city following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man shot by white cops.
Video footage from the scene shows protesters approach Rittenhouse, including Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, who is seen hurling a bag at the teen.

Rittenhouse opened fire and shot Rosenbaum dead.

He is seen fleeing, holding an AR-15-style rifle, as other protesters try to chase him down.

At one point, the teen stumbles and one of the demonstrators, later identified as 26-year-old Anthony Huber, attempts to hit him with a skateboard. Rittenhouse shoots and kills him.

A second man, Gaige Grosskreuts, then walks up to Rittenhouse with a handgun in his hand, and is shot in the arm.

The teen then gets up and walks toward several police vehicles with his hands up — but the vehicles move past him and he went home to Illinois, where he was arrested.

Rittenhouse is being held on murder charges and is fighting extradition to Wisconsin, where he would stand trial.

I've been a Muslim all my life may be because I was brought up in a Muslim family but alhamdulilah robill alameen this is the year I actually choose Islam for myself. It's as if I was just born when I read the Quran some weeks ago and I realized it still works and it doesn't change with time and it's the solution to our way of life. No matter the bashing, no matter the hate words just hold on to Allah. Rasoolulah sola lahu aleihi wa Salam predicted how the Muslims would be treated towards the end of time so the islamophobia we Muslims are experiencing now was excepted. We should not forget that this world is a prison for the believer. I won't act like because I'm on the right path now by the will of Allah, I'm now better than the non Muslims, I can still easily relate to how they think, it's still fresh in my memory. I not forcing anybody to Islam, I'll just say we should all get to know our creator. The truth is clear. The Quran has been preserved by God for 14 centuries to serve as a guide to humanity, that's why there are no versions of the Quran unlike other religious texts. Read the Quran as a seeker of truth not as a critic and pray to your creator the God of Adam, Noah, Moses and Jesus guide you. Insha Allah you'll find the truth. May Almighty Allah guide the sincere seekers of truth. Ameen

I just got a redmi 8 last week, the 3GB + 32 GB version. I decided to transfer a file to it yesterday from a laptop but when I checked the phone internal storage on system,it only showed 20GB. Is it normal??
