I already have a mutual fund account with Stanbic, will do as you have advised. Thanks.
GonFreecss1:
I do the mutual fund type, and yes you need a domiciliary account as that is where your interest will be sent. Minimum is 1,000 USD dollars then a subsequent 500 USD minimum anytime you like.

You can choose between Stanbic, FBN quest or United Capital. They will put you through. Just visit their site, email or call them.

Note Stanbic calls theirs the Dollar fund. Forgotten what Fbn calls theirs. But just talk to them they will understand what you want.
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by shiftbutton: 8:40pm On Dec 05, 2018
Please what's the process like for Eurobond fund? Do you need to have euro or USD domm account? What's the minimum investment required?

GonFreecss1:
1. About the Eurobond fund, you can do this with Stanbic IBTC asset management, FBN Quest asset management or even United Capital.

2. About real estate, you said my mind. Me and my family have had a nasty experience I have learnt a huge lesson from. The pain till date is still raw. Real Estate in Nigeria in my opinion is risky. From Omonile, to using government land, to them being overpriced, it's just not worth it to me.

BusinessRe: My Experience With A Bad Freelance Client (time And Money Wasted) by shiftbutton: 11:57am On Oct 22, 2018
If you write for someone who refuses to pay, just open a blog and post all the content there, as long as there is a duplicate, that content will not rank and if he is really an agency, it will hurt his credibility because the owners of the article will do a copyspace and find that content also exist.
That applies to all those who get scammed here on nairaland. If you write a content that the contractor does not want to pay for, then you have a right to use the content as your own. Writing niche is the most risky job not to pay for if you know how to punish the culprit.

I am tired of hearing, I wrote for Mr B and he refused to pay.

You want to hear my story about how bad it was to work with a bad freelance client

After working my ass off, I was finally ditched. I spent a lot of money to make sure I make this money, but it turned out to be a scam.

It was on a Monday morning. I work up very early and went straight to my computer.

As a freelancer, it’s a regular thing to check your freelancing platform to check the latest job posts. I log on to freelancer and I saw

“Article writers needed”

Without wasting time, I applied immediately.

In fact, I was among the top five people that applied for the job.

I knew I was going to get the job because the employer didn’t just need one, rather he wants many.

However, after 24 hours, I received a message from him.

“Hello Ikechukwu, your profile looks good to me. Here is my Skype ID live:m********s. Let's discuss this project on Skype".

I thought about it and I accepted to chat with him on Skype. Just wanted to bypass freelancer’s fee.

I opened my Skype and sent him a message. He replied to me with details of his project.

I found out he owns a company that outsources writing jobs i.e. he gets the writing work then gives it out
He said I will work 3 hours for 500 words; he will pay $15 per article
Wow, was a mouth-watering offer (I said on my mind). Converting to Nigerian Naira (NGN), I will earn 5000 Nigerian Naira every 3 hours. That means I would earn 25000 NGN per day.

My heart melted when he said he pays weekly ( I thought it's going to be a monthly payment type of job.

He asked me “when do you want to start”

I replied “on Thursday”

It was not easy for me to start on Thursday. I have exams to take care of but the moment I remember that I could be a millionaire in 2 months, I just had to concentrate on the job (it didn’t affect my exams though)

The D-day is here. Thursday 8 am, am in front of my laptop ready to kick-off this work.

So, I opened my Skype, he was already online. I told him to send me a topic for my first article (since it’s a real-time work). Rather he sent me an agreement and I had to sign it without even considering how it will affect me.

Work just started.
5 articles per day aren’t bread and butter. He rushed the hell out of me. But, I was able to provide at least 2 articles per day.

You know the funny thing? I encountered a very deadly topic. I said deadly because I don’t think any writer could accept to write that. But I took the morale to tell him I can’t write on that because there isn’t any information online to help me write it.

On the 5th day, the sad news emerged. He ditched me after I wrote many articles that amount up to $130.

He never replied my chats on Skype. Last seen on Skype, “Days ago”. I tried giving him a call but I discovered he just blocked me.

I felt really bad.

Time, money and other resources wasted.

That was how I was scammed to do a hectic job and wasn’t paid.

“Life goes on,” I said to myself.

That was my experience with a bad freelance client

Here is what I learnt (and a lesson for you too)

1. It’s always good to collect upfront before you start a job. Don’t forget to announce that you will give 100% money back guarantee.

2. Keep your freelancing business on your preferred freelance platform. Platforms like Fiverr or People per hour do collect 20% of your earning. You shouldn’t worry about this because they have to eat too.

3. Be very sure you are going to receive your money. Define your payments platform on time.
These are my lessons.

However, if you are already a freelancer or you are about to go into the business, you have to bear this in mind

“You are your own boss”

You charge people for the services or products you offer to them.

Don’t allow them to treat you as if you work for them.

You don’t work for them; you work with them to solve their own problem.

EducationGet Trained On 3D Modeling And Animation For Residents Of Ikota, VGC And Ajah by shiftbutton(op): 1:44am On Jun 02, 2018
With the world moving towards Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and animation, 3D Modeling and Animation is the future trend. Only those trained in such skills can quickly take advantage of what the future offers.

3D animation is no longer limited to those in the sciences and engineering profession. Even those who make clothes, furniture, interior decoy, bake cakes and other pastries soon find out that 3D modeling is a non destructive way of testing various designs.

Equip yourself and kids for such a future by taking advantage of this flexible training program.

Home lessons also available.

Note: For proximity, this is presently only targeted at those who reside around VGC, Ikoja, Ajah, Lekki Homes 2, Abraham Adesanya and environs.

Target age group for this particular message is for those under 20 years, preferably those who just finished secondary school or are in senior secondary.

A separate message will be out for undergraduate students.

For interested applicants, drop your email here and I will send you the details asap.

I will probably get back to you on this once I can sort out the ads and landing page and start converting. Money to advertise is not really the problem in this game that much but ensuring that your money does not go down the drain.

BusinessRe: Do You Know Any Person Who Has Really Succeeded With CPA Marketing? by shiftbutton(op): 12:16pm On Mar 23, 2018
Okay fair enough... which do you suggest I stick to then?
Dilama:
All u need do is stick to one affiliate. For example clickbank and learn the nitty gritty of it. You will surely discover where u are going wrong. But spreading your tent wen u haven't made real success in one will limit your chances of knowing where u are going wrong. So choose the best that u tink u might be able to succeed with and focus solely on that one. Don't be carried away by others and with no time, u will surely get it right
BusinessRe: Do You Know Any Person Who Has Really Succeeded With CPA Marketing? by shiftbutton(op): 12:16pm On Mar 23, 2018

I have $37 unused for about 3 years in my bing account. Can we do a deal?
BusinessRe: Do You Know Any Person Who Has Really Succeeded With CPA Marketing? by shiftbutton(op): 11:36am On Mar 22, 2018
If I had 500k to spare on this venture, I would have expanded my bings ads and hopefully before the money runs out I would have found out what works and what does not.
Thanks for the offer anyway.
Just an advice, use simple gadgets first for your channel and focus on the most important thing which is generating traffic which you will realize is far more difficult than actually producing a video.

Immaculatesnow:
if you are in lagos then you are serious to earn from afilate marketing then partner with me, I run a youtube channel named SIMBAZ and i looking for funds to buy better video equipments and better tools to increase my income from ads and affilate income, i need 500,000 naira as investment, in return i will pay you 40,000 monthly which is 8 percent of your investment monthly for the next 5 years under contract), plus i will use all your affilate networks to genrate yo extra income on a 50/50 split between us, if you like this deal then head on to youtube to check out my channel named SIMBAZ, and call my number in my profile.
BusinessRe: Do You Know Any Person Who Has Really Succeeded With CPA Marketing? by shiftbutton(op): 10:57am On Mar 21, 2018
Then I will be as guilty as those who sell ebooks with claims to making money without really making money.
My conscience wont allow that.

I get your trying to help though. Thanks

AgentNnamdi:
CPA is harder to make money on. Although it pays higher than other affiliate channels. Your subscriber must do some tasks for you to earn; this makes it somehow difficult. All those people selling tutorials make a lot from the sales rather than what is in the contents.

So far you have tried affiliate marketing, why can't you write your own E-book and start selling. It pays more.
BusinessDo You Know Any Person Who Has Really Succeeded With CPA Marketing? by shiftbutton(op): 9:46am On Mar 21, 2018
I have tried everything I have read about affiliate marketing. I have accounts on Clickbank, Amazon Associate, Adworkmedia, CPAgrip, MGcash etc and guess how much I have made from them... $0,000,000. I have watched video upon videos on these topics, read books yet nothing really to show for it, yet something tells me that they can't all be lying. I am so much at my wits end.

My online journey has not being a total failure though, I have had some small success with fiverr but the lure of affiliate marketing model excites me but I do not know where I am going wrong. I have tried free traffic, paid traffic, ads...
I don't know again... Perhaps its time to go back to the basics, does any one know of a real person that really made his money from CPA marketing and not Yahoo yahoo masked as CPA?

What are the effective methods that really work?

August Ames

Next to pass on was another Canadian actress August Ames, real name Mercedes Grabowski, she was found hanging in a public park, 20 minutes from her home where she lived with husband Kevin Moore, in California on the 9th of December, 2017 with a suicide note apologizing to her parents. Only 23 years of age, she had only a few days earlier been subjected to severe criticism on Twitter and harshly trolled for hours by her angry followers who were furious over her refusal to complete a scene with a man she discovered was gay. Many of these fans, who eventually pushed her to her death, had accused her of being homophobic. Before her unfortunate death, She was married to adult film director Kevin Moore. She is reputed to have performed in more than 270 X-rated movies within a 3 year period.
