A woman is gone forever. Her life was taken away violently by a mob. There was no due process of any sort involved in the taking away of the life of Deborah Samuels. You cannot excuse the murder of this woman because 'at least there was an allegation'.

Your first few lines show the proper procedure: After an investigation, if it is indeed found that Miss Samuels made offensive remarks, she should be called upon to retract her comments and apologize for them. If she complies, problem solved. If she doesn't then there are still lines of action available under Nigeria's laws.

If Deborah Samuels chooses not to retract her comments and apologize, the next legal option is she can be sued by Nigerian Moslems. It is telling that you bypassed this option completely and moved to the enforcement of Islamic capital punishment - for blasphemy.

Nigerian federal law simply doesn't allow you to do this.

I live in the core North, christians & Muslims share perimeter fences together. The most important thing is: Respect for one another!
