Noticed all five recipients were males. Next 5 will be females for fairness. |
Cineinfo:Paid.
|
westlius:Mr Westlius. Your money should be in your account now. Stay Blessed!
|
Initially, I had planned to select recipients randomly, but upon witnessing the overwhelming level of need here, I've decided to start from the very beginning. I will trust my instincts to identify individuals who appear to have an urgent and imperative need. So the selection will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis and also on urgency. Let's be honest, and we shouldn't start making up stories. While I may not have enough funds to assist everyone, the aim is to continue this initiative, and I encourage anyone who can to also join in and be an anonymous giver or continue to be one if you already are. However, going forward, the selection process will no longer be random. I will begin from the very first account number and work my way down. If your account number falls on pages 6, 7, or 8, I pray that you won't even require the money by the time I reach your page. |
superintendents:You should have yours too.
|
isah2006:You should have it by now
|
westlius:Yours is coming. |
For people that are sending DM to my email, you are not being overlooked. I will pick a minimum of 2 people from those that requested by email next week, God willing. |
Akalia:Baba me sef no know how to catch fish. I be very small person o. This is just an innovative way for me to help assist/help people. I know the money is not a lot but I also know it can go a long way for someone. It can be the money for that "fare" to that interview. It can be the money to buy that "medicine" for that parent etc. I pray you fish and get that BIG fish o and have plenty! |
superintendents:Sent. Stay Blessed!

superintendents:I will increase it to two people this week as it's first week. DM me First and Last name if you can't put it here. |

I have created this post to start an initiative of offering assistance to individuals who are unknown to me. Every week, I aim to send 10,000 Naira to a Nigerian stranger(I will pick an account number at random if there is more than one), as I understand the challenging situation in Nigeria. This small gesture is my way of giving back to my country, even though I am currently living abroad. I have the means to consistently afford this amount, even when facing unpaid bills, as it is less than £10. I hope to extend a helping hand to those in need back home. I find fulfillment in anonymous giving, acts that only God recognizes and rewards. Through this platform, I wish to continue being a blessing, in my own small way, to any Nigerian in need, regardless of tribe, language, or religion. I am not seeking any personal information from anyone, nor do I want this page to be a platform for scams. Only post an account number or send your account number as a DM. Once you receive the alert, come back here to mention the alert received so I am sure you have the funds. My desire is to offer genuine help and support to fellow Nigerians, spreading a spirit of compassion and unity. Together, we can make a difference and alleviate the burdens faced by those less fortunate in our beloved country. Let us come together and embrace the joy of giving without expecting anything in return. May we all find ways, no matter how small, to make a positive impact on the lives of others. |
One harsh truth that becomes evident as we get older is that, whether we like it or not, our achievements, net worth, education, and success can significantly impact our social standing and how others perceive us. More "successful" individuals might seek to associate with us if we are involved in activities that are perceived as "glamorous" or "excellent", while fewer people may want anything to do with us if we don't meet certain societal standards. For instance, if you are a superstar at your orgnaisation, your boss may treat you with more leniency, whereas if you are considered a non-achiever, your boss might treat you differently. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that the way society functions ideally should be based on equality and mutual respect. Unfortunately, the reality is that people/society tend to categorise and assign others to different classes. It's akin to George Orwell's famous phrase from his book "Animal Farm," where "all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." Nevertheless, it's essential to remember that these social constructs do not define our true worth. As individuals, we should be treated with equality and respect, regardless of our achievements or social standing. Ultimately, what truly matters is finding someone who appreciates and loves us for who we are, not solely for our future success or accomplishments. So, in the face of judgments from others, challenge yourself to stay true to your values and aspirations. Keep pushing forward, and I pray that you will find someone who cherishes you for being yourself, without being solely focused on external factors or societal expectations. |
dgee1:Absolutely,you can bro. |
Tech is amazing! I've spent previous 13 years(up to 2022) working as a Civil/Structural engineer, specialising in designing both domestic and commercial buildings. But you know what? My love for technology has always been there I've even taken the time to teach myself programming languages like Python and Ruby. And during the whole COVID situation, I decided to pursue an online MSc in Data Science. It was a challenge, but I made it through. By God's grace, I landed a job as a devOps Engineer last year, and currently, I hold the position of Senior DevOps Engineer at a cool FinTech company. I'm very proficient in Jenkins, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, and I'm no stranger to various AWS services. Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana. I now want to lay my hands on Google Cloud and VMWare, as they seem to be a must-have skill in today's job market (to be honest you can have a great career without GC and VMWare) and I'm up for the challenge. You know, in the grand scheme of things, there are no limits to the exploration of human knowledge and how it accentuates one's self actualistion. We can keep pushing the boundaries until our very last day. So, why not go for it and win! |
texazzpete:What about the coup, or should I say the removal of a democratically elected Ukrainian president by NATO, who was, of course, more inclined towards Russia? Since 2014, Ukraine has been engaging in ongoing bombings targeting ethnically Russian individuals in the Donbas region. As a superpower, Russia naturally opposes being contained by NATO's eastward encroachment or Ukraine signing a treaty with NATO that would allow them to maintain a naval fleet in the Black Sea. Such an arrangement would limit Russia's sea access to the east, jeopardizing its security in the Western region. The United States acknowledges this concern, as there was an agreement after the Cold War known as the "not even an inch" principle, which stipulates that NATO should not encroach towards Russia. However, the current reality is that several former Soviet states have become Western allies. I apologize, but it seems that all Russia desires is similar to what the US, UK, or Canada wants, namely security assurances and the ability to protect itself, rather than being contained by NATO. |
Fineman2:I am a day one follower of Chimamanda. Where is Kalamazoo College,MH on the list? |
thesicilian:Only thing is that Messi and Ronaldi are giving Federer/ Nadal vibes which is, refusing to fade away and now encroaching into the timeline of Mbappe and co. |
Once again, we see another obsessed man sex-shaming a woman. Many men went into marriages while still being involved with their girlfriends, but in this case, the woman still tried to have one last sex before settling down, now it's "total confusion". Meanwhile, a man will still be very confidently involved with his girlfriend both before and after the wedding. My aunt's husband, for example, left his wife in the UK to marry a lady in Nigeria.....and it was not a small, secret living room wedding either; they had a big Lagos party and he's also currently "happily married" to his wife. |
I had to pinch my self that I didn't post this topic and my user name is certainly not Op's user name as our story is similar. Got married young too and now have 3 children. Sometimes I feel really bad for wifey that she didn't really enjoy single life. She's in her beautiful early 30s now and we are 10 years married already, but then, we see some of her friends that enjoyed "single life" still trying to find someone at 33/34 and also very tired of being single. |
And hardcore Nigerian conservative Christians believe that their Christianity is incomplete without embarking on a pilgrimage there. |
tunwumi:It's not extraordinary lol,the bird is called a pheasant and very common around villages/rural areas in the UK. I guess what we are not use to is "extraordinary" sha. |
The whole nobody knows your song narrative is so cringey AF. There are many great artist across the world who are legendary and happen to sing within a particular genre that might not be your popular everyday radio play catchy songs, but they are equally respected as real musicians. The song of the year from the last concluded Grammy is "Just Like That" by Bonnie Raitt and I don't even know who the artist is. How many people knows Beck, but you won't see people from his country saying who knows you just because the song is not some 2:48 minutes same line repeating song like Chop my Money. |
Yomit71:That's why I said who legacy epp which means let him chop money. |
Huge stain on his legacy. He'll be very rich though and maybe who legacy epp. |
