I'm aware of this. I always shake my head when I see some black people talk down on blacks and say Africa has always been cursed. Some even go to the extent and say we were the caused race from Genesis(the curse if Ham story). Please know your history. There are books that told story of Pre-slavery Africa.
Our ancestors smelted iron, yarned cotton, traded with other states, developed art and craft of world superiority, kings comanded large militaries in Africa well before Europeans. These are things that were done in other civilizations as well.

Attached is a picture of European style castles in Ethopia. Their kings slept in castle just like the European ones did.

If we are talking history and the root of Judaism and Christianity, yes, your are right, but if you know about the 1st crusade and all the religious wars in Europe. It was a mandate of Islam to penetrate into Christian Europe. The 1st crusade that saw an European Christian expedition to slaughter the ruling caliphate of Jerusalem was a Christianity vs Islam war.

The same thing with the end of the Byzantine empire(Christian) that led to the domination of the ISLAMIC ottoman empire.

Racial issue is a whole topic on its own. Please tell them to stop assuming. I know at least 100 Nigerians in the UK, maybe one/two does cleaning. The rest are Doctors Academic researchers, Bankers, Construction Managers, Engineer, Pharmaceutical executive. Those days are over when Nigerians do "odd" jobs that's the generation before, the current generation are armed with skills and quifications in a system where qualified people are valued. I get at least 10 calls a day for a new job whenever I put my CV online.
