I'm aware of this. I always shake my head when I see some black people talk down on blacks and say Africa has always been cursed. Some even go to the extent and say we were the caused race from Genesis(the curse if Ham story). Please know your history. There are books that told story of Pre-slavery Africa. Our ancestors smelted iron, yarned cotton, traded with other states, developed art and craft of world superiority, kings comanded large militaries in Africa well before Europeans. These are things that were done in other civilizations as well. Attached is a picture of European style castles in Ethopia. Their kings slept in castle just like the European ones did.

babzo:If you know anything about your Yankee, you'll know about all the atrocities and police brutality that minorities go through and several homicides in which the culprits were not indicted because of no evidence even though it existed, all because of a corrupt prosecutor colluding with police to destroy or suppress evidence. I give it to AMERIKKA that they have a law enforcement that seem to work but they have serious deficiencies and I can't be bothered to start mentioning cases. Do you know how many thousands of people rotting in US jails for doing nothing? |
babzo:I can't stopping laughing out loud |
TAO11:If we are talking history and the root of Judaism and Christianity, yes, your are right, but if you know about the 1st crusade and all the religious wars in Europe. It was a mandate of Islam to penetrate into Christian Europe. The 1st crusade that saw an European Christian expedition to slaughter the ruling caliphate of Jerusalem was a Christianity vs Islam war. The same thing with the end of the Byzantine empire(Christian) that led to the domination of the ISLAMIC ottoman empire. On a final note its like saying Potato is very IRISH and someone saying no because its origin is Brazilian, that doesn't change the fact of today's reality that it was made famous by Ireland. |
HigherEd:The idiot Jihadist don't see it that way. They see it as western (Judeo Christian) vs Eastern (Islam) fight. Even though the N.Zealand attacker was an atheist to them, he still represents western Christians. |
He attempted to industrialize Nigeria but the powers, that be, greed and partisan politics decapitated his efforts. |
God is not interested in your trousers, whether you keep your nails or not, whether you grow your beard or not, these are all ancient human tradition that infiltrated true relationship with God. I've always pitied those that are can't break free from these bondages because they've been instructed that way from their younger years. |
I think by cheap they are converting Naira to Pounds/Dollars/Euro. Lagos is by no means cheap for the average Nigerian. |
To be honest, where did these people get the money to buy cars that worth over 50million naira each. |
I'm a basketball fan but as an African, I still don't know why Africa cannot run a good and efficient basketball league and why the NBA needs to come to Africa to run a basketball league. |
Onyi22:Funny how she Op used lazy and broke together but didn't include hardworking in Davido's description. ![]() |
He was never that good. He never even played 2 full seasons at Madrid |
raptex:Non white anyway. |
America does not know anything than to jail black people for misdeamenor while majority of people that milk the country dry through insider trading and phony hedge funds are celebrated. I've lways pitied black Americans, they are stuck in a country that have failed to fully/really adopt them whilst still being treated differently to Americans of European ancestry. Blacks have a longer history of settling than most Europeans that migrated in mid 19th century. DMX, Wesley Snipes, Meek, 6ix9ine, Mayweather and many more. |
Oyimeoyimemua:Thank you. I don't know why a lot of Nigerian girls think fornication is the passport to Marriage. |
People have power and resilience in the country. I pray for the day when our resilience will be channelled into more efficient and productive outcomes that are of world class standards. |
Congrats king & long live the King. Do we still have Kingdoms in the true sense of "Kingdoms". His ancestors truly ruled the empire and not local/state governments now ruling. Is Nigerian monarchy not simply ceremonial nowadays and at most has have some sort of sovereignty that is popular with the locals and don't really wield any real executive/legislative/administrative power? |
List of players whose career was ruined/attempted to ruin by Mourinho: Mateza Kezman Juri Jarosik Matic Mikel Mikel Mikel Bosingwa Oscar Shevcenkho De Bruyne Kalou Victor Moses Lukaku Pogba Balotelli |
The urinating in public - BAD The don't wear boxers/clothes that show your private, tell that to most ladies who now dressed almost nude. |
gbosaa:Loool and lool. These practices are not rare at all. What about the starbucksGate or the guy that got shot in his flat 3 months ago because the lady thought he broke his way into HIS own flat. |
Sensible economics talk. In fact, I can read about macroeconomics and industrialisation all day but its a shame that the Nigerian government cabal will not allow any of these ideas to transpire. Absolutely for a 200million population, we are mightily underachieving. |
lilbest4:This is one of the greatest lies that have been circulated about slavery. 10 million people across several African countries were not sold by their forefathers. Like every society back then, there were wars between kingdoms and yes some of the captives were sold but I'lll be shocked if the numbers were up to 10%.The white people used force by kidnapping and abducting in most cases. Kings across Africa wrote letters to England to desist from enslaving their people but they refused to listen. Again, the black transatlantic slavery was so different from any slavery in history because the it took place when the world was quite modern.Christianity was in full motion then and the nation's that enslaved Africans were Christian nations, two, the transtlntic slave trade was fueled by the notion that Africans were subhuman and inferior, every slave raid before then was basically due to I get power pass you and I'll enslave you. Three, when slavery was fought against in early 19th century, white entrepreneurs such as US south farmers and plantation owners fought against it. Even after slavery, they still won't allow the descendants to become full American. They killed Abraham Lincoln on top sef due to his Reconstruction policy and laws under Jim Crow eliminated any social or economical progress blacks could make. Not until 1960s were blacks allowed to go to school, vote, use public facilities in the whole of USA. Please the fate of blacks in the western world for the past 400 years is not due to the fact that some few people were sold by "forefathers" but because of greedy people who knew they could get away by using blacks to develop their cotton plantation and other cash crops which was the most lucrative economic activity of that time. |
africandollar:I agree with all you said except that its a curse for being black. Its stupidity on her part. Why do we forgive her stupidity and bigotry and say its a curse on your part. Racial issue is a whole topic on its own. Some white people now relate as progressive and tolerant which basically means they've educated themselves and open to understanding what generally had a blanket aspersion over it. Some have relinquished the myth that promotes white privilege and some white people still believe the black man is under his feet. |
sweetmelanin:Please tell them to stop assuming. I know at least 100 Nigerians in the UK, maybe one/two does cleaning. The rest are Doctors Academic researchers, Bankers, Construction Managers, Engineer, Pharmaceutical executive. Those days are over when Nigerians do "odd" jobs that's the generation before, the current generation are armed with skills and quifications in a system where qualified people are valued. I get at least 10 calls a day for a new job whenever I put my CV online. |
If this premiere was in Nigeria, you'll just be seeing people in sleepers and t-shirt around the place. |
This thief man should not be talking. As soon as I saw Gbenga Daniel on Atiku's team, I lost all respect for their campaign and now recognise their mission as an ultimate looters mission to finally doom the destiny of Nigeria. With all my distrust for the Buhari's administration, I still think they'll be better for Nigeria than an administration where Gbenga Daniel could end up been a Minister. |
lilbest4:Many atimes, journalists do ask questions repeatedly. Trump equally insulted a lot of them too that day. He shouted on April Ryan to sit down like a 5yr old. He also accussed another black reporter of being rascist because she asked him of referring to himself as a Nationalist. |
olujastro:No, you must have taken a different helicopter and not the one the couple died in. ![]() |
grandstar:Nah, a bigger form of wealth is access to credit capital. If you have £10,000 that yields a return of 10% yearly on base and monthly interest. This amounts to a total of £11,047 at year end. If you buy a car worth £10,000 with that same £10,000. Amount left at year end is £0. If you use credit to finance the car with an interest only payment of 2% (example) per annum and keep your money invested at 10% per annum. You have £10849 left after paying car interest at the end of the year (provided 10% interest per annum return which equals 10/100/12 per month) while investment interest and base compounds. Again this is for businessmen and investors and not salary earner. Salary earner is advised to pay cash if he can and only acquire credit when it is guarantee that he'll pay back. No matter how wealthy real billionaires are in the western world, credit money makes you more money as you can pay the debt off with your investment returns and still have money left to invest with, so why kill the earning power of your capital for a depreciating luxury item. |
yinkus6750:We are talking of a billionaire businessman here with different investments. Sudden announcement could send markets to go crazy. His company, King Power runs duty free across airports in Thailand. |
White people commercialised something that's inherently looks evil and make it look like fun but we look down on our own dieties and customs. If someone mention Sango or Ogun, people will start shouting blood of Jesus but we wear ghouls and witches custome. |
I get the whole billionaires & capitalist are more powerful and control the economy but I still think one or two policy change implemented by Buhari that does not favour Dangote's business will bankrupt him. |
