rieme26: Good day all, just want to know if i am doing the right thing. I am trying to start the ECA. So I picked WES and decided to assess my masters since it's my highest qualification.I have log in to their site ,created an account, total fee was $207. Not sure if I ticked the right postal medium. Then the first recipient to receive is myself and second is the immigration. Can I pay with my regular atm card? Or are they banks that can help with payment. I am a serious novice in this process, please I need your assistant abeg. I would suggest u use ICES since u only need to evaluate ur MSC. It's stressless |

fmsimple: I will like to urge a bit of caution here please. Guess that throwing away Canadian standards or requirements may be problematic. In any case, the employment requirement for NOC4162 states "A master's degree in economics or in a related discipline such as business administration or statistics is usually required." Note that its not a MUST to have a Masters degree.
Best wishes. Noted, thanks! |

Ifeoma77: No. Your work experience is your work experience If it requires Master's degree to get a job with Canadian employers, who's to say it must be the same in your home country? Claim your points with pride jare Okay, thanks! |

joo2018: Human rights abuse and the like. Most likely the relevant security agency will run your name through a database. No need to be concerned though, @Ifeoma77 has stated that an Air Force Officer recently got his/her application approved. okay, thanks |

[quote author=bellong post=71674666]What is important about the skilled migration process is your core duties and not where you work.
What are your job descriptions in the para military agency? If your job descriptions align with any occupation on the skill list, you can nominate the occupation.
thank u. I work in d tech dept. Was wondering why they ask about military or para-military background on d personal information forms while applying for visa |

joo2018: As long as you can trace your job to a Canadian NOC 0, A or B you are good to go. I think, though, your application might go through extra security screening. My thoughts. Pls what kind of security screening?
