sexycat:Welcome to the squad. ![]() BTW, No, You cant open Standard Chartered account online. check previous page to see requirement. >> shocker007: |
felifeli:Depends on the Bank and the type of account you've got. You only get to pay $200 equivalent in Naira and nothing more. But for dorm account, Bank like UBA will charge you 2% but not for other banks I know of |
ntutu:I have tested Zoranga and they worked out fine, except the 12.5% charges for bank withdraw which I would have preferred to be static fee. So kindly explain why you said people shouldn't deal with them, thanks |
felifeli:No, you don't incur any other charges other than the amount sent. However, for the receivers end, he/she incur charges depending on the paypal country. But for UK, no charges. Let me know the country you sending to so as to advice you better. |
felifeli:Aside 0.5% rate, you also get charged $25 flat swift fee. That's UBA, and I think many other banks do same. Why not use other means for your transfer? Paypal e.t.c |
Stanley08: Cul4real:Funny Comments. Minimum Opening amount for current account is = N50,000. Minimum balance for current account is = N1,000 Minimum Opening amount for savings is = N50,000 Minimum balance for savings is = N1,000 Requirements: 1. Standard chartered savings account holder or 2 current account holder from any other banks as referees. 2. One Passport Photograph 3. 2 valid ID cards- One for KYC and the other for Address verification (International Passport, Drivers Lincence , Voters Card) International Passport will stand for your KYC because it has no address on it. Drivers licence or Voters card is good for address verification because they have address on them. |
Cul4real:All their account comes with Visa Card including savings account. The minimum opening balance is N50,000 though, just incase . |
Stanbic has done me strong thing. Imagine they charged me 295 as at 2days back, but I checked my ledger yesterday, behold they've updated my ledger to reflect their new 315 price which they later deducted. This is why i hate MasterCard, nothing good comes out of it. Only crook banks will advice you to go for MasterCard. If it's ViSA, they deducts instantly and credit back instantly vise-versa. Heading to Standard Chartered, since all their cards are Visa. |
megatran:Gift card Rate? |
Kenooff:I believe I made mention of how you convert to naira in my post. Try read again to understand. For your second question, No it doesn't. But its still more or less of peer-peer and support direct debit for US accounts. |
Kenooff:Next time avoid wasting cash. Tell your friend to open a Coinbase account. You too should do same. With coinbase he send you bitcoin worth of the dollar and you in turn exchange it for naira at bitpesa.co at about 300+ to $ Except you need money in your dorm for fun though. My little advice for you. |
Looking Good |
Shakitibob0:I guess he is referring to Uber. You can check this thread https://www.nairaland.com/2653841/uber-partner-lagos-please-share |
dest4real:Sorry, Its in relation with the 1miilion daily spend card, not a separate service. |
Egonekwu:It sure comes with a Limit of $50,000 yearly spend. So don't be deceived by the N1million daily spend or N5million monthly spend. Once you get to your annual limit, that's all. And for your info its N312.8 to a $. It has never went below that since all this currency issue started. Plus you will pay excess when stocking it up, except you use Diamond bank online service. |
honmusa:I wouldn't risk my gas can indoor. And that's why i will advice anyone going for this, to buy a long pipe with it. Its a good product so far this precaution is in place. |
I believe it can cause fire hazard. To avoid this, the pipe must be long to distant the gas can from the generator. |
KingsleyTMTTM:@KingsleyTMTTM There is now quite some few websites to purchase BTC as a Nigerian. Use either HIDDEN LINK or Bitpesa.co |
Okay, I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere. For now, i'll follow this post closely. The accused might not have been patient enough, and with the latest screenshots, the accused don't want to send cash not until he sees the product been sold. Which is OK. The only thing we can do now is to wait for the op to cone show us the complete finished product and snapped by herself this time. @Elhayjay Just chill a bit, let her come on today. Because you weren't patient enough initially. If you've ever registered a forex account, you will know calling and persuasion doesn't necessarily mean scam. Those guys can call you 10times a day, but its real. Patiently Waiting though... |
tripplephi:I saw you did. Just wondering if It was a bad idea to teach people and enlighten them. You and I know I did nothing bad wanting to make people know what btc is about. But bro aside this btc thing, are you in anyway threatening me physically? Cos I think am sensing threat in your voice, bro I stay at Chevron Drive lekki o and I don't leave Club Remy Martin every Friday, Just Incase you wanna see me, we can meet up man. We are men, if you decide to keep on hating, no prob. But the fact is that, this life ain't a biggy as you taking it. I purposely edited my post because u misquoted me and others too did. But I don't like threat man. If you were with real ID, I would have come to know what's up so far you near. So bro, it's NL, anybody can do as they want, but we all know things ain't same when its a real world. Even Dangote still sell N40 indomie. We all learn everyday. |
virus04:I use to mine with an Antminer S5 back in the days, but not anymore. I use a totally different approach now and don't mine bitcoin anymore. Instead, I mine Altcoins and exchange for bitcoin. For example let's look at Etherium which was 1$ in January, its now $10. But check Litecoin which was about $14 last year, its now 4.4$. The thing is that having bitcoin itself is an investment. In 2013 before mtGox hack, bitcoin went as far as 1000$, but after the hack in 2014 it went down to 250$. Now its at 455$. It will soon Go further to hit the 1k mark sooner or later because difficulty level keep getting high. I wish to teach people openly on here before now, but I have decided to not bother since it's not encouraging. Cos for the mod to delete my topic of enlightenment, I will rather stick to Bitcointalk forum for such. And like @tripplephi, If I don't teach in public, I can't teach in private. I believe it's a nice idea to stay out of trouble in terms of name defamation. It pays though if you know what you doing or see someone you know to guide you through. But the fact is that, it will always cost you in terms of initial investment but with the rate of btc increase, don't expect to mine only btc and see ROI fast. |
tripplephi:You seem good in removing any attempt of developing dent from your name before it starts. Cool though. @virus04 I believe you can always check details from the said website so far its been marked safe. Also always check list of scam site at http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/index.htm Once you see a site on that list, don't bother with them. And if not, try googling to be sure. Its a pity the mod removed my supposed lecturing topic. But what can I do, they own their platform. |
The way these scammers talk and claim to be honest ehn, you go fear. @OP has an identity to extent of sharing address, and you come here to say she is a scam? Simple English they can't use well. And the way they become arrogant when they think they are invisible is the major thing that do vex me. I like it when you challenge me with a valid ID, I will act dump until I get an ID, then you will know law exists in Nigeria. So far you've got a number attached to your valid name, you will be caught on the long run. I think Nairaland need to start verification service for business users. Full KYC (Image, Phone number verification,, Bank acc name match, Passport ID and Skype chat with Admin) to match your name. But the management don't seem to care, its all about the cash. Cos there is solution for this thing. Talk with people that developed the likes of Talk Africa then and the job will be done. Create a post under programming section demanding for programmer to create this. This thing won't take a month to implement. But they won't do it. Even after all the users contribute to the forum progress. Seun and Lalasticlala, you guys should move this to FP and have a rethink on how business work here. |
Seun lalasticlala You guys need to check this out. You've done nothing regards this. |
checkpoint:I never said he is a scammer. Perhaps I will have to edit my post to reflect this fully. Because I am been misinterpreted already. |
tripplephi:As i have said, i don't call people scam until they actually scam people. And with this i didn't call you scam. So you don't need to stress in calling names, i have created a thread for teaching people, you can always drop your opinion if you want to contribute. As i said in my mail, i did not request for your mentorship, maybe on other things you could mentor someone, but definitely not on bitcoin. Except you have a trading secret you hiding. Which i am not against, its your thing and you can decide to share or not. But its better you say you can't share your trading secret other than beating round the bush. I did not dent your image, so enjoy. |
