Since Ntel Admins have decided to hide information's from others. I will be releasing quite some few things you need to know about Ntel on this thread. Will drop Lagos Proposed Collection locations by 6pm today. Stay Tuned! 1. There is nothing like Free Call For Life on the Network, What Ntel has is also same as CUG(Closed User Group). This time around the first 100,000 users are called pioneer members whom will be inputted into the CUG and in turn make free calls to each other for life. But you will pay for other call out including on-net (except you sub for Ntel Premium) NB: I might be occupying few comment spaces below for update. UPDATE (6pm) Locations can be viewed at Space2 below.

Ntel Social Channel Admin is parading this thread. He/She just uploaded onyema1D screenshot on their TL. Does this mean they themselves don't even know how the network works? I think ntel has a poor management. I go just vex release Lagos collection locations if dem no come out straight.

tyor:I don't quite get this statement. "They do not want customers traveling distances to pick up." What does this mean? If one can buy instant, then how do they not want customer travelling to pick up. Or you typed wrongly. |
So I was just surfing and came across this picture. Which location do you think this is? Fashola have more work to be done.

mikron:Source or idonbelieveit |
This was why I said he should have been the EFCC chairman instead of been a President. GEJ would have boost our economy far by now. Well, 2019 is not that far. Its just about 1000days ahead.

Lexusgs:The PowerWall is already available for you as a power bank. You can carry it along if you want. But you mean you want to refill ur car in traffic? The way people will rush you with gallon ehn. They'll just think you r one pay as you go fuel retailer ![]() |
daveemuobo:May i know what sense the word "Grounded" mean in the bolded comment? Plus I see quite some uninformed people out there saying Solar isn't efficient but I've been using this for over a year. "I hear Say" have affected large numbers of Nigerians. |
femi9naija:You sir, can really wake up a thread. ![]() |
d33types:Fall back to those who don't have panels. They gave a prove of long time use when they described how you can use it with a solar system. Its either you don't know how solar works or you've not used it before now. But just to clear the air for you as a user, it ain'taain't a fall back but a solution you can rely on for a very long time without using electricity. They knew this and gave 10years warranty on the batteries. With GIGAFACTORY, expect more nice stuffs to come. By the way I parked my car near a petrol station last night and before i could open n close my eye, four other cars have queued at my back thinking its about fuel not knowing I only wanted to get something. Wished it was a Model 3 so I could lecture them well why they need to make a switch. |
d33types:Well if you check my first post, you will see i made mention of using solar for over a year. I was able to post that the charging is feasible in Nigeria because I know what a solar system can do, plus you need to check out the PowerWall if you haven't. https://www.teslamotors.com/powerwall |
KingRex1:The truth is that, the engine ain't really Mech per say, and all operation are on DC. They are motors. (See attached image) And the system you talking about is an Hybrid system, but you won't want an AC(Alternate Current) system onboard sir. That won't be safe. The only thing that would be nice, as suggested by @0rex, will be an onboard high output solar panel+controller charging the battery during journey.

d33types:First I must say you almost sound like Ben Bruce with the way you highlighted those Common Sense posts. But I will give you answers and some things you might be missing. Lets get something clear that this car isn't for the poor or some average tokunbo/Innoson car buyer. That been said, i want you to know not all feature of the car is expected to be used when its in Nigeria. But Parking sensor, Auto stop to avoid car crash, 0-65mph in <5secs, Speed monitoring, Auto-shade in Sunny hour, Front and Back Motor control and many more features will work flawlessly in Nigeria without the need of a map or navigation system. Aside the auto pilot and navigation system that can't fully work in Nigeria (at the moment), what else can't work? Also know that when it comes to solar system acquisition to power the PowerWall for car charging, anyone rich enough to acquire the 6.9m car should be able to spare some thousands of naira on panels. The PowerWall is 6.4kw. 1000w = 1kw, Meaning 6.4kw is 6400w 230w panel costs <30k in Lagos 6400w/230w =28, Meaning 28 panel will dish out 6.4kw in an hour. (Though not feasible cos of short circuits) Let's say we add 10 extra panels to make it 38 cos of short circuits. 38 of 230w panels x 30k each = 1.1m Solar panels are getting cheaper and more higher power panels are been developed. Who knows, before late 2017, we would have higher power panels that are less bulky. And about 110-220voltage, if you are a Tesla fan, you should know its given the rating of 110-220v cos it doesn't ship to US alone. A model was still delivered to China last week. So the voltage thing is out of it. For Engineers, Expect sharp Nigerians to always tap into any high pay emerging market. I don't expect much of a fix though. Except you expecting the motors to have issue like normal fuel cars. Sir this is an electric car that uses some high grade motors. Our home fan don't get to have issue for years. How many Model S takes their car for check up often as at now. BTW, I Would have loved to ask why on the below statement , but will leave that for another day. mind you I have ridden in a model s's boot..don't ask me why the boot. But sir I think you need to try the front seat ![]() No offence though, Once again I won't be asking you why. ![]() |
0rex:According to my attached image in my comment above. Its not an on the move charging as you can see from the link. But I was only trying to let you know they have efficient system when it comes to solar charging for your car at home. Let's wait and see the next Model launch. Am sure one of the models will come with an on the move solar charging soon. But till then, PowerWall is a great one at that price. All you need to add are Solar Panels and an Inverter. After which u r good to go. BTW, You can place order to Nigeria directly for the PowerWall ![]() |
0rex:Check out Tesla PowerWall, You'll be glad what this guys can do. https://www.teslamotors.com/powerwall They've got 10years warranty on that battery and it's only on sale for $3000 They got you covered already.

d33types:You are wrong! Do you even know that Elon Musk was born in South Africa? Incase you don't, now you know. This really has Made Sillicon Valley not totally glad on his achievements. (That's a talk of another day) But said that just to clear ur thinking of the car not been for non-American. There is nothing like that! As a Nigerian, you can always place your order directly by mailing them or via your US address with any freight company. As I have said in my post, charging can be done with Solar. I have been using Solar in personal apartment for over a year now and I don't care about PHCN power, so charging my Tesla car when it arrives isn't gonna be a problem. (So far Naira will still be freindly by the time I make the $34,000 completing payment in 2017.) So my friend, don't get confused about what you read somewhere, I have facts and proof of solar efficiency. Fashola said one thing. There is no magic in electricity. The power u call government power are just sets of big generators. Some powered by Hydro, Water e.t.c Instead of waiting for their generator, you can always generate yours with no problem. |
Readonee35L:215miles or 346km on full charge. Enough to Take you from Lagos to Ibadan. With super charge, you charge to full within one Hour. Battery warranty is 8years. Tesla uses Cell Batteries like that on Laptop devices in multiple to create their batteries. So u r assured of long years of durability. |
Elon Musk has officially unveiled the Tesla Model 3 electric car at the company’s facility in Hawthorne, California. The Model 3 is being dubbed as a “mass market affordable car.” The base- model Model 3 will be able to travel 0-60MPH in less than 6 seconds, with “versions of the Model 3 that go much faster.” In terms of range, it features an EPA range of at least 215 miles (346km) per charge. All Model 3’s will come standard with autopilot hardware and autopilot safety features. The Model 3 will also fit five adults comfortably, thanks largely in part to the large, rear piece of glass on the roof area. You’ll find front and rear trunks, offering more cargo capacity than any cargo gas car with the same external dimensions. Safety is a big concern for Tesla so they’ve manufactured the Model 3 with a 5 star safety rating in every category. The Model 3 starts at $35,000 (N6.9m) with a release date scheduled for 2017. Tesla will take your Pre-Order now for a $1,000(N199k) down payment. How can this be used in Nigeria? You can procure a Super Charging facility from Tesla and power them with Solar. Keeping in mind, the rate of sun we get in Nigeria daily is as much as what the United States sometimes get in a week. Yet Elon Musk Solar City project is a success there. Believe me, this is the future and not some Hybrid car Toyota sell. UPDATE Some people needed me to prove how the solar charging will work in Nigeria. Well, Tesla already have a 6.4kw product with 10years warranty called PowerWall that charges with solar, which in turn can charge your car. This goes for only $3000(N597,000) Check it out https://www.teslamotors.com/powerwall Official Dollar Exchange rate used: 199
