Hello guys good evening, please I would like to ask the following questions and would appreciate any help I can get.
1. I plan to apply to collegium civitas for October intake, they are the only school taking my course of choice public relations, please who has an idea of it is a good and recognized institution.
2. While in transit I lost my original waec certificate, I have applied for an attestation of result( it won’t come out until January next year) and I’m also about to apply for a confirmation of result from waec, but I was told it would be sent directly to the institution I plan to use it, so I can’t receive by self, now my question is do I go ahead with my application for confirmation and have them send to the school, I don’t know when this would be sent but hopefully in time for next admission, how do I tell the school my waec was sent ahead so I would like to submit other documents.
Please kindly advice on how to go about this thank you very much
1.collegium Civitas is a very nice private school in warsaw and many people on this thread are there and doing well

2. I believe you must have your credential before you apply to any school.

Please for someone who wants to collect credit card, please which bank do you recommend
I think sterling bank is the best plug from the reviews of the people as it is faster and has less hassles.

Good morning everyone, I’ve been an studying this thread offline for a while and today I made up my mind to leave this country because this country will kill my shine. I’m 24yo next week and I’ve been in my finals as an undergraduate for almost 2 years. I wish to start all over again in Europe. Germany was my first choice but I was told German visa isn’t easy and they are not issuing student visa now so I’d like to go for Poland. I am the one sponsoring myself to a strange land so please I’d like to know so tips that can help survive.

1. Costs of living ?

2. Is it free education in Poland and how easy is it to get student visa

3. How easy is it to get a legitimate hustle to help myself?

4. I don’t plan on coming back to this country ever again in my life, is it easy to get PR or citizenship?
first things first, I'll strongly advise you read this
thread thoroughly as all your answers have been answered.

1. The cost of living is dependent on the city you intend to go in Poland. Although most places are cheap to live in when compared to other places in europe.

2. Most school in poland charge tuition fees, however it's very cheap depending on the context you view "cheap". You have opportunities to apply for scholarships also.
For list of schools you can visit https://go-poland.pl/.

3. This question doesn't have a single answer, i strongly believe the journey of life is per head and different grace applies, you will be fine at then end of the day when talking of hustle.

4. Your visa is for 365days and you can do your temporary residence permit valid for your the duration of your stay. And also renew so you are covered in that regard, in addition to this poland is also called "a passport to Europe" as it connect you to your dreams and destination faster.

I hope this helps, all I have said is not final as so many gurus in the house can still add to it.
Kind regards.

if you like yourself follow what @swazy said, let your parents open a credit card with minimum of 3.5m if you don't want to complicate things for yourself
As regards the insurance use Allianz ,as it's the cheapest and highly recognised, tell them you want to do a travel medical insurance. I have a contact of a staff I can give you if you want

Good morning everyone,
I applied for Visa on 4th January, I was asked to submit three additional documents before 18 January, which I did. My enquiry date is on 4 February, how do I contact them to enquire? Should I wait for a notification/confirmation from them that Visa is ready for collection before proceeding to Embassy?
You candid advice will be much appreciated.
Thank you all.
you wont get a mail from them notifying you of any decision, you just have to proceed to the embassy on the day slated for your collection. You can mail them to enquire if your passport is ready for collection though. But I repeat the embassy will not tell you the outcome of your application until you get the passport to know if it's good or bad

Go with your school accommodation letter is enough for you ... many got visa with that as long ur school have accommodation coz they are aware that embassy do request for it so they do issue accommodation letter to their students as long dey have dormitory. A friend got visa last week and he only presented d school accommodation letter without any down payment

So most schs are aware that embassy do request for it as part of ur visa process so the schools that have accommodation will surely issue a letter of accommodation along with ur admission letter in other to help u wit ur visa process.. in case if ur school don't have accommodation then u need to get a private accommodation and sign a year contract or (8 months but make sure its wrriten on d letter that is extendable) definitely a private accommodation will demand for 3 months or more down payments. That is d best of my knowledge
I fully second this opinion

thank you Soo much for the response I really appreciate, about the language course you suggested, I read from this thread from years ago that a language course of just 1year will not get me a visa, I mean I will not be give student visa for just a language course. Because as for me I am dedicated to the cause I am ready to go for a year language course then proceed toy IT program but the visa part is a problem.
go for your IT programme directly, you'll learn the language conveniently while studying.

Good evening.

What should one do if one's school provides accommodation for students but the students are not allowed to apply for the accommodation until they have their visa?

I am referring to KUL Lublin in this case.

Your response will be highly appreciated.
if this is the case, you have to get an accomodation contract of a year elsewhere. Kind regards

Please how I need help
I was denied based on no 9. And my school is not ready yet to give me accommodation.
I've searched all the internet, no accommodation to be found.

Can someone share how I can secure accommodation aside the school accommodation

And likewise, Concerning the flight , please how do I go about getting a flight reservation for my appeal.

Please help a soul

@moonflower

Merry Christmas
first things first, mail the embassy to ascertain the main reason for number 9, for accommodation contract of one year visit olx.pl and search for accomdation( e.g one room apartment in wrocław), you may need to pay to secure the contract
For the itinerary, I did it with one person at wakanow.
I hope this helps

Enjoy the joy of the season.

Thank you , my school directed me to hostel that is giving me a confirmation that I will be staying with them during my studies. I’m paying 300 hundred usd for that . Which is one month advanced payment.
usd or pln, if its usd then that's expensive for an hostel.

I need an urgent reply for this question. My brother got a date with the polish embassy and he has just one problem, he hasn’t booked for an accommodation in the state he is going to. He feels it might cost him his chances of getting it.

I need someone with information on how to book for an accommodation in the country. The school (Krakow university of economics) isn’t forthcoming in their website and I need to get contract for him before he gets to the embassy.

I need help ASAP.
like someone here said, use booking.com and book a month accommodation.
