First, it took Esther a min to type n send her long epistles @4.09am (most likely planned n then copied n pasted). Then Seyi sent his responses n take a screenshot immediately. The type of Seyi (hustler, brilliant n intelligent) would most likely b heart broken, depressed n not think to take a screenshot immediately he responded.

Lastly, both Esther n Seyi happen to be housemates in the ongoing BBNaija. undecided

E de happen but not as common as with previous models...I rarely see it happen to 2008+ models. Yet to see it happen to a 2013+ model.

The cars do not come with V springs from factory. You might be lucky if previous owner abroad already fixed it since there is a TSB from Honda recommending it abroad. Else, you have to source for it and fix.

The VCM in the V6 tries to reduce fuel consumption but doesn't succeed very much in that. I probably use the same amount you use in a week to buy a month worth of fuel for my civic. Fuel economy for the Accord 08 v6 is comparable to that of a Corolla on long journeys.

It helps reduce fuel consumption. From Lagos to Ibadan...I probably will use same amount of fuel as ur 1.8L Civic and surely arrive earlier grin

So i thought before I own one...not true sir.

Actually, it does consume more fuel but not excess...based on personal experience, considering average weekly fuel consumption of other cars I own:

2006 Civic 1.8L MT - 3K per week
2008 Civic 1.8L AT - 4K per week
2006 Accord 2.4L AT - 6K per week
2010 Accord 3.5L AT - 7K per week

From above data you can see that the fuel consumption is not alarming.

My V6 accord is equipped with VCM so I get good MPG up to 17 within town and 26 on the highway. See TripB in images below.

I use Honda type2 coolant, DW1, service with synthetic M1 oil and ensure no check engine light (very important to enjoy ECO mode) and I buy fuel from trusted filling stations. I have also installed Honda V-springs recommended for excessive rear pad wear/binding...this slightly improved acceleration and fuel consumption.

In summary, maintenance is key. An abused and poorly maintained car will consume excess fuel.

Decision to stick to I4 or not is yours to make. In my own case I needed to explore the talked about power of a V6 and its been fun so far.

'08 honda civic. Recommended tire size is 205/55 but I need additional ground clearance only, hence request for 205/60s.

Transfer of energy/collision force. When a moving car collides with a stationary car of similar mass/weight, the stationary car encounters the greater collision force transfered from the moving car.
Key words: mass/weight, moving/speed.

In this case all odds were against the camry because the venza was moving (more speed) and again has more mass/weight, thus more collision force/damage is transfered from the venza to the camry.

So i decided to take d bull by d horn n dropped entire exhaust system for thorough inspection. Las las culprit confirmed to b exhaust flex pipe leaking. As advised, i opted for a replacement section rather than weld. So glad CEL is off and Eco mode activating again.

What are the chances that a 16 year old used vehicle will have just 89k when the average mileage per year for most vehicle is 12000. Ie 12000x16= 180000. I can almost bet my balls that this car is accidented too.

Not everything in life is mathematics, where 2+2=4 always. I know this and this is exactly what i was trying to avoid. Its hard to believe but possible. In some instances car is parked for up to 6mnths because owner is away to his family in US.

All of them shouting VIN but none smart enough to know u can get it via plate number. A simple NIID search!
