This is a very bright idea. The question we should ask includes: Can it be achieved and sustained? To me it is a big YES! In my opinion it will do more good to start with a small number of investors say 100,000 people then grow it to 1,000,000 people. The next hurdle will be how do we manage funds from 100,000 people and distribute the profits equally? How do you convince these people to participate? Depending on the method it should be transparent. Also funds contributed can be channeled into different viable businesses in agriculture, oil and gas, real estates etc. A detailed business plan should be adopted and profits x-rayed on amount invested in percentage. A bank should be contracted to manage the funds and profit payments. I will stop here for now.

By now it should be quite glaring that NYRP is on a long walk home. We are loosing momentum. Many youths have lost faith in this cause including my very self. If at this stage NYRP has no foundation laid to engage Nigerians.

NYRP:
We asked for high spirited, patriotic and selfless youths who wish to become NYRP mobilizers and coordinators to act as the working committee to plan things, to send their whatsapp numbers to our official email, and up till now, we have less than 3 responders, which is very poor.

Are we giving up alreadyhuh That will be shameful.
Nigerian youths wake up before its too too late angry

What would their proposal submission to the authorities do for them? Nothing but peanuts and crumbs from the table of the looters. After which they return to same situation of unemployment, hunger, oppression if not worse. If we the YOUTHS can't unite together because of monetary gains, then we should forget calling ourselves future leaders. #NYRPUnityAndProgress

while this group is still thinking of the way forward , 3 more groups have already emerged and submitted proposals to the authorities .

I really do subscribe to this ideology. It is indeed very true how a few have used religion, tribe and language to divide and suppress Nigerians. Yes, without work (action), faith or hope is dead. Many of us here pray and hope for a better Nigeria without doing any work. To be very sincere it won't happen. These looters called leaders will continue to cart away monies meant for future generations yet unborn. The time is now. Evil will only triumph if the good men sit down fold their hands and do nothing. NYRP must wake up and act now

Good morning ladies and gentlemen!

REAL TRUTH!!

CAPITALISM AND THE CHURCH... THE WAY FORWARD.

There is a work side to prosperity. It is the works of your hand God blesses.

People are in farms planting yams and you are busy sitting in church, when it is harvesting time; don't expect yams to fall from heaven. When it is eating time; people are eating and you are "believing" God for yams.

Faith without work is dead. There should be a corresponding action in line of faith.

When the gospel came to Africa, the missionaries saw two vital areas of deficiencies; hospital and school. They filled these gaps. Today, directly or indirectly, we have all benefited from it.

Today, we have a major problem; unemployment. Instead of filling this gap we are taking advantage of it.

We gather the unemployed and "prophesy" jobs to them. We give them stickers, sell "holy water", tell them to sow and expect harvest, convincing them to "work" for the lord, that breakthrough is coming... All these we do to exploit and explore the vulnerable.

We travel abroad. We have gone to Isreal and see the agricultural exploits there. But we are not willing to bring them home.

When we sow, instead of our money to be invested into ventures like agriculture that would alleviate the sufferings of the weak ones among us, we channel the money to an atheist in Germany who designed MOG's customised car.

We channel the money to Buddhists in China where we bought our building materials. We channel the money to a gay in America who produced the sound system and lighting system.

We channel the money to a Muslim in Dubai who did the interior decoration of our " magnificent " building...what a Capital Flight!

Why are we crying of poverty and for breakthrough? The God that I know respond to work wherever he sees man doing something to advance humanity, be it a Hindu, Gay, Buddhist, atheist etc.

I don't want to start mentioning names, neither do I want to indict any person. But just imagine Living Faith going to rice production, RCCG going into Cassava production, Christ Embassy into Maize, God's Choosen into Yams, Catholics into millets etc.

The land is there, the man power is there, the money is there, like the missionaries, who saw a problem and filled it, we can also fill this problem of unemployment and food security.

Just imagine a church sending hundreds of trailer load of food to evangelise the north. No man can resist love. Feed them in love and watch how their hearts change. That was how the missionaries changed the hearts of our forebears.

The missionaries have tried for us, and instead of us to keep pressing northwards, we have resulted in building empires. We have commercialized the gospel. It is all about breakthrough, money and less of Jesus, His Person, His Sacrifice and Finished works.

We have the manpowers to feed Nigeria and Africa, generate employment by adding values to farm produce and exporting them.

We have traveled abroad and have seen great agricultural exploits, it is time to bring these inventions home.

It is time we convert our exotic cars in our garages to tractors and other mechanised and modern agricultural tools. Doing what government cannot do, by do doing this; "THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE UPON HIS SHOULDER ".

When we roar, the government is supposed to quiver, not because of our large bank accounts, but because of our intimidating exploits.

It is time to wake-up... I see a day when we shall be holding our numerous church services in farms and factories. It is time to take the government upon His shoulder. It is action time!

The Voice of One has spoken!Selah!!!

.......I think we should pass this on! Loads of youths in churches HAVE NO JOBS! The church should think of ways to create jobs for them

To ALL NYRP Comrades

You ALL can agree with me that NYRP is really moving at a very SLOW pace. Therefore, it is imperative we the members NYRP push things forward.

It is in this view that i deem it necessary to convene an online meeting where ALL can participate and deliberate on the way forward.

The link to admit members of NYRP to the meeting will be posted here for those interested to join. Before then ALL members are welcome to make suggestions of a date that will be convenient for all to attend.

Thank you ALL for the support.

Mr. Longlife, thank you for your enthusiasm for NYRP.

NYRP must grow strong to capture Nigeria. I really commend your patriotism and goodwill for this country. Yes, i quite agree with you but as an old adage says "he who wants to survive the war must make necessary preparations even before the war starts."

NYRP is still at a very tender and critical stage, and it is a MUST we get it right at this stage if NOT we end up like our past leaders. NYRP welcome everyone, every Nigerian like yourself to join and carry the vision forward.

NYRP will accommodate every NIgerian Youth but before we roll out our drums we have to make sure our foundation is solid so that we can survive the future storm...because it will definitely come, if you understand what i mean. Before we can proceed to the LGA, State and National Level, we must put our house in order. We need admins for NYRP social media platforms, we need coordinators / representatives from the 6 zones who will work tirelessly for NYRP to grow, we need to sit down as a people to create the NYRP constitution and a lot more.

So as you can see we have a lot to do so we can avoid most of the storms that will come from our present politicians. Mr Longlife please come on board and contribute your quota, also refer your friends. We need able hands.

jossky:
Ok sir, But the point is we have to start from the grassroot, the key to succeed in this project is UNITY and more members. We shouldn't rush into voting for intending representatives from each 6 geopolitical zones without been organise from the wards, LGA and States before geopolitical zones.. Our main interest should be to achieve our goal which begins with getting more Nigerian youths to join us, we need to create more awareness in our villages, streets etc. Cos I bet you there are thousands of youth out there that is not aware of this project, what about those youths who do not have knowledge of Internet or do not have an android phone should they be left out or is this NYRP Thing only on the Internet? Or only for those who can access the Internet?
This is a very sensitive mission which if we didn't plan well then we will fail in this dream and that will send a wrong signal to the public.
Please I still suggest we take this thing to our locality, create more awareness, organise ourselves from the grassroot before going up to the NEC. Even other political parties have wards and LGA congress before state congress and then national congress.
That's my humble suggestion.

I still remain Mr Longlife. cool

You should not put out your information in a public domain like this. Follow the instructions given by NYRP. Members in NYRP follow instructions.

jossky:
I think I support this, because we need to be coordinated from our various wards, LGA, STATES before the National convention.
Pls admin. I will suggest every member to post his or her details here for easy coordination: for example,
YOUR Name
YOUR State
Phone Number

Then one person from that state can compile the list for his or her state. So as to make it easier for meetings in various states before the National Convention.

If my suggestion is accepted then....

I volunteer to compile the list for Rivers State so we can meet and organise ourselves properly.

I am very impressed with the suggestions pouring in.

NYRP must grow strong to capture Nigeria. How do we achieve thishuh

Under the 1999 Nigerian Constitution as Amended Chapter 6, Part 3, Section D, Subsection 221, lies the clauses we need to fulfill as a political party and to be registered under INEC;

221. No association, other than a political party, shall canvass for votes for any candidate at any election or contribute to the funds of any political party or to the election expenses of any candidate at an election.
222. No association by whatever name called shall function as a party, unless -
(a) the names and addresses of its national officers are registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission;
(b) the membership of the association is open to every citizen of Nigeria irrespective of his place of origin, circumstance of birth, sex, religion or ethnic grouping;
(c) a copy of its constitution is registered in the principal office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in such form as may be prescribed by the Independent National Electoral Commission;
(d) any alteration in its registered constitution is also registered in the principal office of the Independent National Electoral Commission within thirty days of the making of such alteration;
(e) the name of the association, its symbol or logo does not contain any ethnic or religious connotation or give the appearance that the activities of the association are confined to a part only of the geographical area of Nigeria; and
(f) the headquarters of the association is situated in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

If we read down there are other clauses up to 229 or there about in number.

First things first, going by what we have in the constitution, NYRP needs to be registered, and how do we get that donehuh We start by building the structure from the foundation up to the roof...
(a) We have to fill the positions of Admins in NYRP Facebook page and group, Twitter, Instagram, Email, Website, Whatsapp. Yesterday i went through the members of NYRP facebook group, lo and behold, i saw someone that's NOT a Nigerian as a member So we need dedicated admins
(b) We need to agree on a logo and colours that will represent NYRP
(c) We need to vote for intending representatives from each 6 geopolitical zones; e.g South South Zone should have in each State (3 representatives, ie Chairman, Secretary and PRO), and each LGAs (3 representatives, ie Chairman, Secretary and PRO). This should be replicated in ALL zones.
(d) After this stage we can then call for a congress. At the congress we will deliberate on how to constitute the NEC.
(e)To constitute the National Executive Committee (NEC), we have to hold a congress. How do we arrive at this stagehuh LGA representatives in each State of a particular zone will vote or present 3 representatives to represent them at the State Level, at the congress. At the congress NEC officials or representatives will be constituted through voting by the State representatives.

If we can achieve this 5 steps, we are in right order. That's my contribution. Suggestions are welcome.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Youth Political Revolution Movement (NYRP) - Join NOW! by shophut(m): 10:13pm On Nov 02, 2017
NYRP should critically look at all the positions available to be filled and also determine what data / information to collect from intending contestants. Suggestions should be collected from all NYRP handles of social media for fairness. After we have all agreed then the thread and form can be created. This is my opinion.

ourchoice:
and based on the issues you raised, I think you need to create another form for intending contestants, the form should carry the post the person is interested in and couple with other datas in the previous form you created.

So when I create the thread, every interested contestant will have to go to the form to fill his or her data which we will then collate and present here for people to vote. What do you thinkhuh

@daclemx, lindabon, etc you guys and others should come and make your contribution on how to carry out this critical task.

Good evening guys

To ALL comrades supporting NYRP

So far we have only been able to capture data from Thirty-eight (38) intending representatives. See analysis below.

Also i want to make a suggestion to @Ourchoice and other concerned comrades

Creating a thread for members to indicate interest in representing NYRP not a bad idea, but my points are
(a) Do you actually know these people?
(b) Are you just going to pick people to represent each state without any tangible information about the person
(c) How are you going to deal with situation where there is a sabotage or deviation from the main cause NYRP is for?

What is killing Nigeria today is because it started on a wrong foundation. If we ply this route then be rest assured that we have taken the wrong path as well. I am NOT implying the forms i created must be used but NYRP should have some form of data for its members #Justconcerned

After today i am pulling down the forms. Even the admin issues that were raised nothing has been done about it. It seems decisions in NYRP are being taken by a few and that can certainly NOT be what the youths of Nigeria want. I will NOT be a part to such a movement that does not consider decisions from others. Good luck to the cause of NYRP.

It is indeed SAD but i have to say this...@ourchoice what i said earlier have started manifesting. If we continue like this then this whole project will be a HUGE joke of the century. The foundation of any group determines how far that group can go. Chasing too many things now is not ideal. We MUST constitute the representatives first. Yes! The slogan of NYRP should be "we the youth of Nigeria" NOT a selected few who want nothing but positions and benefits. @Oloruntobi whatever you can do to make Nigeria great please do it. Encourage others to fill the forms by filling it yourself. The representatives across the 6 geopolitical zone will be constituted in no time and in a transparent manner. About the Facebook Admins issue that will be sorted out and it should include comrades from the 6 zones.

We are using origin because we want to select representatives that are actually from each geopolitical zones. This is because we need the grassroot penetration to actually move this party forward. Maybe in future NYRP will see the need of using state of residence. Thanks for the observation.

To @ourchoice and all NYRP comrades,

The barriers have startedvshowing themselves like I envisaged. But we have to press on. We don't need to lose focus now though some bad elements want us to.

NO COMRADE of NYRP should negotiate with @RationalTV, from all indication he or she is here for a benefit which is money.

MARK MY WORDS if we incorporate this @RationalTV into NYRP we are all going to fall like pack of cards. That means our effort will have been in vain.

I want to re-emphasize here that ANY sensible Nigerian youth will shun monetary gains for now to pursue this just cause. @RationalTV coming here to state which position he or she wants in NYRP is an insult to all of us and to this just cause. "By their fruits you shall know them..."

We should ignore any pirated thread and focus on this journey. If @RationalTV is so popular like he said he should have become president by now...rather than look for selfish gains here. I will not sit and fold my arms and let him disorganised this movement. You might be a blogger some others here might be hackers...so be warned!

Dear comrades let's focus on the journey ahead of us. Share NYRP on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and every platform you find yourself...do not relent in your efforts. For comrades who are ready to volunteer as representatives please fill the form by following the link on page 6 & 7. I must warn here that this journey will be tough, so if you are afraid of being intimidated by the politicians please remain as a member because surely they will use all means available to hinder this movement.

It is time we start serious deliberations across all the geopolitical zones. Transparency will be our watch word and ALL representatives will be chosen after collation of data under the watchful eyes of every member of NYRP. #Nobodywillbehandpicked

@ourchoice please DO NOT negotiate with anybody if truly you want NYRP to succeed. We are all behind you and this movement.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Youth Political Revolution Movement (NYRP) - Join NOW! by shophut(m): 11:59pm On Oct 23, 2017
I understand your concerns.

NYRP is NOT here to fight the government

NYRP is NOT asking for the division of Nigeria

NYRP is HERE to participate in the forthcoming election as a duly registered party under the constitution of Nigeria.

NYRP has citizens of Nigeria as its members.

NYRP is an association to liberate Nigerian Youths from slavery, abuse and untold hardship.

NYRP will adopt measures under the constitution of its establishment, the constitution of the Fed Rep of Nigeria to exercise its rights

NYRP will engage youths positively through continuous education, entrepreneurship and empowerment.

That's NYRP stands for and will uphold.

ourchoice:
mind you, we aren't asking for division of Nigeria neither are we gathering to cause commotion.

We will use the internet and social media to mobilize youths first before going physical.

We all need to follow our official Twitter handle @NYRP now to give us an influence and to attract others because the twitter handler will be tweeting facts and interesting tweets to fire up our spirit the more.

Please note that the twitter handle won't follow anyone back for now. We need social media influencer, if you know any, reach out to him or her to join us.

All your fears are fact and we will address them all gradually. What we really need now is to get as many youths as possible to join the movement.

YES! The urge is there to upturn the ills in Nigeria
But we should (NYRP) start with a single step. The situation at hand is NOT an easy one less we rush in and rush out without any tangible impact. We have started on the right path, creating the facebook group and other social media handles, I will advise we proceed with caution here as too many of these will create a divided house, each with its own agenda.
Secondly, I think we should have a website in place, and from there all communications can be published. We need a constitution to guide the members of this party. And to draft this, the six (6) geopolitical zones MUST be represented. Also, we need to register this party ASAP. All intending members can donate towards this, but only after we have constituted representatives in each zones.
Thirdly, we need to embark on massive campaigns and sensitization in ALL geopolitical zones. Remember the #politicians will kick back. We must develop a concrete plan to that effect. This is bigger than the social media.
Finally, we will present a sole candidate to contest in the 2019 elections. ALL youths representative must ensure our votes counts. At this stage we will involve a lot of organisations fighting for the same cause. It will be tough, but we will overcome if we unite and focus on this mission.

Yes we can!!!
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Youth Political Revolution Movement (NYRP) - Join NOW! by shophut(m): 10:16am On Oct 23, 2017
Don't wait to get the numbers, that will come as we proceed. Every sensible youth in this country yearns for a better country. I will say we can proceed, and believe me with the right mission statement, we will have the numbers. What you should be concerned now with is how you will manage the crowd to have the same vision and pursue the same cause. How you will select the good ones that will move with the momentum of the head at the centre.

I am really impressed that we still have a few that still thinks Nigeria can be revived. Let us set out a plan and work towards it. The journey will not be an easy one. But persistence will see all of through

Sleemut09:
Great though.

I have dreamt about this long ago.

.but the vision is to pull out from God fatherism. Once it cost u less and freewill loyalty of people to get to the top, then it will be easy to avoid been turned to a leave on the water.

We need a robust website that will accommodate youths registration registration which can be shared on all popular social media.

This vision has a long way to go if we can maintain it.

Thank God you have found this out for yourself. This is what i have been saying here. Some people think Nsima is the problem.

From the clause i marked red...if i may ask who called in the aunties and uncles at the top? Are they not scholars who wants to make the list by force whether merit or not. At all cost. So whose fault is it.

This group of scholars don't care how whatever they have done is affecting anybody. All they want is their interest at the detriment of others. Bro, if i should advise you, boycott any form of protest on this matter at your own interest. I made this comment because you contributed in going there personally to find out things for yourself.

Those of you saying the list will be release next week...next week...next week and next week how market. I dislike people that Tell moon night tales embedded with lies ....please don't give fake news in here and don't say what you ain't sure of...
I was there today at NDDC headquarter... the fact is the list has not even surface at fifth floor after the last boards sitting.
In fact the Awaiting final approval now is not from Nsina alone but some strong headed chairmen at the top.
and also government matters.
I also inquired about our brothers/sisters that have not been paid, the truth is the whole problem is Government palava...''corruption'' in quote..
now this has nothing to do with any scholars at all but some wicked uncles and aunties that are in charge from top....
all documents and findings ready but to approve the money now is a big problem, because the probe on what happened to last NDDC budget is now the question on board.
I dislike this people.
Anyway lets hope as no cogent info was given on approval day.
I say we wait for the release and as for our scholars that are not paid yet the best thing is to protest at the headquarter and at Abuja . live protest is need trust me NDDC will bend because there is money in NDDC. If you can't make it let your brothers represent you or sister and also let us aspiring scholars join them if you are near.

@Knightcrawler1, if you have been following this thread for some time now you will notice, i was part of the group that actually agitated for this protest and publication on national dailies. But i had some bitter experience that some prospective scholars still left that same group and went to find their backdoor way to the list. #yesmyannoyance. Besides, my recent comment here, i did sympathize with the genuine scholars that have been affected (see extract: It is rather unfortunate that others who went through the process are involved in this mess...)

So don't jump into conclusion. Many here only come read and go without any positive contribution. Many went to form various whatsapp groups, only to come back when the going got tough, and they suddenly remembered this thread for their rants. All of a sudden they want those of us who didnt agree to join the various groups to support their cause.

We have categorically stated that we won't support such a cause. Whoever wants to go ahead should do so at his or her detriment. Afterall, #allhumansareselfish and we all did apply for this award on different individual basis. NDDC did not coarse anyone into filling or applying for the scholarship award.

I had to go this lengthy just to clear your misrepresentations.

Knightcrawler1:
I have a problem with how your mind works,
With all due respect you either have someone in government or are just a plain sissy,
so even genuine scholars should suffer for something they have no knowledge of? If you were in their shoes will you be blabbing this way?
NDDC cannot dump the blame on these scholars, if there is fraud it is from within the agency! As far as we know they exist a budget and a stipulated number of awards, so coming to blame scholars for fraud perpetrated by its staff is wrong!
Your comments typifies a generation too cowardly to stand up and condemn what is wrong.
