Really?

All Politicians are same ... Thieves looking for where to steal.
Anybody that actually means well to serve Nigeria and humanity should establish s business and employ, then use part of profits to do Social Service.
You these useless Politicians should stop telling us these lies about Service to the People, when you have actually come to feed fat on our resources.
Politics / #Osun2018, I am the Credible Alternative - Babatunde Olaniyi Loye by shoray1704: 12:45am On Aug 20, 2018
As the Osun gubernatorial election is approaching, choosing the right candidate to vote for seems to be a herculean challenge. Some have likened it to choosing between a rock and a hard place. We are in a unique situation at the moment where the people have very little credible options to choose from. The landscape has never been so shaky and doubtful and the people left with nowhere to turn to. I have come not to just be another option but to be THE CREDIBLE ALTERNATIVE.
I am not a career nor recycled politician. Neither am I an outsider masquerading as an Osun indigene. I am a son of Osun and I want to serve my people.
My name is Babatunde Olaniyi Loye. I was born in Ibadan and attended primary and secondary school there. I then proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife where I graduated with a degree in Accounting. I got my Masters’ Degree (MBA) in Business Administration from Canterbury Business School in the United Kingdom. All my academic qualifications are verifiable.
I have worked both inside and outside of Nigeria and my records and achievement in terms of leadership and experience more than qualify me for this role. I will be soliciting and counting on your individual and collective support in my bid to become the next Governor of Osun State in Nigeria.
My pledge is simple, to provide a platform where credible investments both local and foreign (and I mean each and every one of us has a part to play on this quest) will be used to stimulate, reinvent and rebuild Osun state. I want to create an environment where our people can be assured security, employment opportunities, functional institutions, rapid economic development and sanctity of hope for the next generations. I am confident we can work together to build a legacy that other states within the federation at large will be keen to replicate.
Why did I decide to run? This is a million dollar question that deserves a simple answer - The hopelessness of the current situation across the nation: Poverty, hunger, decaying infrastructures, broken educational institutions and the absence of technical element in our curriculum but to mention but a few. No one who is compassionate and a patriot can ignore these problems.
These issues have spurred me into throwing my hat into the ring and joining the race for office of the administrator of the state.
One thing I am sure of is the commitment of Osun indigenes to innovate and develop despite meagre and a non-enabling environment.
I have thoroughly examined and reviewed the current administration of Osun and its achievements and where I will compliment some things they have done my conclusion is that a lot remains to be done and the task ahead is gigantic but doable.
Currently our people are demanding simple and tangible improvements to their standard of living. I promise to provide this as a minimum. We will create an enabling environment where jobs will be commonplace and salaries arrears will be confined to our history books.
My cardinal agenda is detailed in my manifesto. However, given the length of it, I will give an abridged rendition here:
Internally generated revenue (IGR) of the state needs to be upped. Apart from the unexplored mineral resources which we have as a state, agriculture boosting programs will be introduced, first of all to cater for the local consumption, and further increase the export quota from Osun State
We are in talks with investors who want a platform to build Agro-Allied processing plants within Osun in order to boost our exports and general food production.
Another important area is Education. We will improve the condition of all our schools end encourage private sector participation by providing grants and licenses that will bring private investment thereby creating a reputable environment for learning and development of all our children. We will also be reviewing the pedigree of the school administrators, setting a competitive standard, and rewarding outstanding results with incentives that will promote organic growth within the education system.
