Reno is a charlatan, he's not relevant anywhere |
DeLaRue:Story, same military personnel that are holding meetings with bandits in the North. They only know how to kill defenseless southen christians and northern Christian minorities. Thank God the world is beginning to take action. You think the US president doesn't know that the military is not neutral |
Blessed4sure:Yeah sure, but what I am saying is that it doesn't make any sense for the government to build a refinery in a region without crude oil reserves yet didn't consider the south east that has oil and gas reserves in abundance. |
yemre:The data i posted is from The NUPRC (Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission). Which remains the legally recognized authority responsible for collecting and publishing Nigeria’s crude oil production data. Every other source is fake and should be disregarded |
wirinet:The refineries in other regions were they built by private people from that region or by the Federal government? |
I don't see this guy performing better than the person he replaced |
yemre: ![]() Which Lagos state is producing oil. Is it this same Lagos state that produced zero crude oil or another one. You guys are hilarious
|
EnergyEnergy:Exactly what other African authors were trying to achieve, a platform that celebrates and promotes African literature written in African languages. The advantages is far more rewarding than wole soyinka's Nobel prize in the colonialists language |
She's not 24 in the first picture ![]() |
Good more to go. This nonsense must stop |
The people who stopped Nigeria’s progress by removing Jonathan from office are the same people claiming to love the country more than others today. Remove them from power and watch how they will become the biggest rivals and critics to any government in power. Their clergymen will be on the streets protesting every good government policy and their leaders will become activists and will be on every radio and TV station inciting Nigerians against the government in power. Today ,they all suddenly become patriotic ![]() |
Lekby25:Nobody will think of building refinery in the southeast but those same people are drilling oil daily from southeast. They can drill southeast oil but can't build a refinery in the southeast |
yemre:Officially, South east has 3 oil producing states. Imo state, Abia state and Anambra State. Google is your friend |
PigTormentor:What stopped the billionaires from the North from building the senseless kaduna refinery? Offucially South east has 3 oil producing states and the region has the most profitable oil reserves in the whole of Nigeria. |
....while in Nigeria we site our refineries in kaduna, hundreds of kilometers from crude oil source, yet not a single refinery has been built in the Southeast, despite the region’s abundant oil and gas reserves. |
Its becoming clearer by the day that Wole Soyinka didn’t deserve that Nobel Prize. We can all see that from his character. He only got the award because other African authors at that time shunned the prize in protest but Wole, being the cunning man he is sneaked behind and collected it. Modified: How Wole soyinka betrayed Africa to receive the Nobel prize. Wole soyinka betrayed Africa by receiving the Nobel prize. Other African Authors were fighting to eliminate the influence of colonial foreign languages on Africa. African writers like Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, Ayi Kwei Armah and Obi Wali strongly opposed the Nobel prize because it was eurocentric and promoted only Europen languages like English and French. The African authors argued that language is not neutral that it carries culture, worldview and power. Therefore, recognizing African authors in English or French languages instead of an African language continues colonial domination because it privileges European ways of seeing the world. They believed true African liberation required writing, teaching and thinking in indigenous African languages to restore dignity and control of cultural narrative. They saw Soyinka’s insistence on accepting an award in English language and one that promotes the language of the colonialists as a betrayal of Africans. “You can’t decolonize the mind while speaking the colonizer’s tongue.” one of them said |

Ishilove:That’s exactly my view. The matter has already been through the court and settled in favor of the accused. The only proper route wound have been an appeal if new evidence is presented but even an appeal is no longer possible now because since no appeal was filed and no motion for extension was made since 2022 that the case was decided, then the acquittal stands as final. The prosecution can’t refile or retry the man for the same offence. That would violate Section 36(9) of the Constitution (protection against double jeopardy). To me this campaign looks like an attempt to convict a man the courts have not found guilty. I am not supporting rape, especially against children is monstrous and deserves the harshest penalties but justice must proceed according to the rule of law. |
I remember this case was taken to court and the judge ruled that there was no sufficient evidence to convict the culprits. |
These people are armed then shipped to the south with a target to make 100 million naira in 1 week from kidnapping southerners. They do it ruthlessly because they have been taught that killing southern unbelievers is a noble deed highly rewarded by their god. |
shivisee:Stop the rambling and answer the question. Why was Awolowo arrested and charged by the federal government and convicted then sent to prison by the court |
Factcheck0001:Can you just hear yourself? So voting for one's preferred candidate in an election has become a crime. |
I still remember the Igbo boy who was initially declared the best student in a South-West state but was later pushed to second place after tribalists pressured the local government chairman to recognize a child from south west instead |
pongwa:In English, don't be a coward |
pongwa:No, I only made comparison between the standard and The nonsense. It's obvious you are too mentally static to see that |
pongwa:Irrelevant because it exposes your tribalism ![]() |
Saturnalia:Mallam Umaru Altine from Sokoto state, an hausa man was elected the first Mayor of the Enugu. Igbos don't do tribalism na una dey teach us https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/11/tribute-to-mallam-umaru-altine-first-elected-mayor-of-enugu1952-1958/

ibedun:Anyone saying south east doesn't have oil is either ignorant or mischievous. Watch this video, Imo State government talked about 7 oil companies operating in the state. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zegM4hXGYbo?feature=shared This also, is the 2024 annual report of The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) it contains state by state crude oil production. https://www.nuprc.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/2024-NUPRC-ANNUAL-REPORT-PUBLIC-COPY.pdf

Putindbutt:You refuse to believe Awolowo did what he was convicted for, yet you’re convinced Nnamdi Kanu is guilty of everything he’s accused of. That's the hypocrisy you people are known for. |
simpleseyi:Exactly my point, we can as well say Nnamdi Kanu is also a victim of conspiracy today. Because there's nothing different between the charges against Nnamdi Kanu and that of Awolowo in 1962 |
Putindbutt: ![]() Know your history! Awolowo was trying to overthrow the Federal Government by violent means He was Importing arms and ammunition. Awolowo trained fighters and form militia group that was known as the People’s Revolutionary Government. Awolowo collaborated with foreign powers especially Ghana under Kwame Nkrumah for terrorism acts against the federal government. The reason he lost the case was that the government presented overwhelming evidence against him in court That was why he was convicted and sent to prison in 1963 |
