Kanu this Kanu that everyday on this forum. Even Tinubu as President is not getting this level of media attention and coverage that Kanu is getting even while in detention ![]() |
Fountainofyouth:Even here in Nigeria, our laws don’t allow assault or child abuse as a form of discipline for bad behavior. See you, see prison ![]() |
Mindlog:For a 7 year old, the law does not recognize intent or criminal understanding at that age. The child is considered incapable of forming a criminal mind (mens rea). the child cannot be arrested, charged or prosecuted... The law focuses on correction like counseling the child and parents on the importance of good behavior. No judge will send a 7 year old boy to prison for touching a woman inappropriately. But everything changes the moment that lady assaults and beats the boy in retaliation. The adult bitter senseless lady now becomes the offender . She will be legally charged for child abuse and assault, since the child is legally a minor and protected by law. |
beerfraud:Aside from Peter Obi, mention any other Igbo presidential candidate who got massive votes from Igbos since 1999. Igbos voted massively for Obasanjo, Yar’Adua, Jonathan, Atiku...Non of them is Igbo. This pattern doesn't look like a people who vote along tribal lines or emotionally immature. In 2003, we even voted against our respected leader and elder stateman chief Odumegwu Ojukwu and gave massive votes to Obasanjo, a Yoruba man. Na una dey teach us tribalism now and one thing about us is that whatever we learn from others,we become better at it than the people who taught us |
So a bitter senseless shegoat assaulted a 7 year old boy and his mum because the child touched her inappropriately? Some people no just get sense for this life. If this case eventually gets to court, how will the senseless lady stand before a judge and justify her cruelty against a minor and her senseless actions. If her own parents trained her well she'll know that a 7 year old is a minor and minors can't be punished under the law. The boy’s mother should have reported her immediately to the police for child assault and cruelty. Nonsense |
Only in Nigeria will terrorists brandish automatic weapons openly in public, yet the govenment choose to focus all their energy on one man, Nnamdi Kanu. |
Prince16:Una go just dey talk nonsense anyhow. Can you mention any law that Nnamdi Kanu's brother and his lawyer broke? Being a lawyer doesn't strip away the rights and privileges of a Nigerian citizen to freely protest anywhere in the country. Igbos are emotional yeyeye yet every election cycle, you blindly vote along tribal lines and throw the whole country into suffering. Where's the logic in that? This is how you people divert attention from where blames are supposed to be apportioned for crimes that the FG mischievously enable and condone In a country where terrorists parade openly with machine guns, it’s Nnamdi Kanu’s brother and his lawyer that suddenly become the government’s priority. What a shameful |
Reno Omokri is full of shit |
You won't find the Nigerian Army doing python dance anywhere in the North even after this glaring evidence but once it's in the southeast they'll start bombing innocent people in their homes. This double standard will no longer be tolerated |
blueAgent:Answer the danm question and stop being a nuisance |
zero8zero:Is it that you guys don't want to learn or you just like to exist in blissful ignorance. Even when the article called these witnesses "compelled" witnesses you are still saying a witness cannot be forced against their will? |
buckeyemedia:I already gave an example with the former chief of army staff Buratai. What you are saying is exactly what lawyers study in school for years. They are not expecting any of the witnesses to agree with them, but any answer the witnesses give will help Nnamdi Kanu's case one way or the other. |
Fiscus105:You’ve clearly misunderstood my point. When I speak of clear leadership, I’m referring to a kind of leadership that commands genuine followership and respectful obedience...this is something that’s sadly lacking in many marriages today. This doesn’t mean a woman should be treated as a servant or a slave or shouldn’t be allowed to make inputs. It simply means that when there’s a clash of ideas in decision-making, the man’s position should take precedence for the sake of order and direction. Without this there’s always going to be confusion and never ending conflicts in marriages. |
buckeyemedia:Oga I think you really need someone who's more educated to explain to you how the legal system of a country work. The article clearly stated that there are two categories of witnesses in Nnamdi Kanu's list. One of the category is compellable witnesses...this category of witnesses, like the TY Danjuma you mentioned will be compelled(forced) by the courts to appear before it. It doesn't matter weather they are willing or not. In a country, nobody should be seen to be above the law. Not the president, Not even the federal government! |
The white man's definition of marriage will never work, it didn't work in their countries so how will it work here. Any organization where there's no clear defined leadership will only amount to confusion. Our ancestors knew this for centuries but the white man came with the equality nonsense in marriages. Now neither the man nor the woman understand their roles in marriages |
Lanretoye:You don't know anything. This is a brilliant and uncommon development in legal jurisprudence. I foresee law students studying this particular case for many years in the future. Malami as a witness will explain why he failed to comply with the Appeal Court’s ruling that discharged and acquitted Nnamdi Kanu. If he insists he complied, then the DSS Director as a witness will have to present proof of Kanu’s release. If not they both have established that the federal government has a record of not obeying court orders and illegalities. Buratai as a witness must account for who ordered the military invasion of Nnamdi Kanu’s residence in Umuahia to kill his father and 25 others. If he denies ordering that operation, then he's simply telling the court that unidentified armed groups were active in the Southeast and they clearly cannot be linked to IPOB, since it would make no sense for IPOB to attack its own leader and kill his father. Congratulations to Kanu’s legal team |
Not true. 1st class is awarded for structured academic excellence. You must go through the university system to know if you have a 1st class brain or not |
Softmirror:See your King and ancestors begging the white man to come save his weak ass from The Dahomians female fighters who wanted to wipe your forefathers out from the surface of the earth. ![]() If my ancestors write this kind letter, shame no go allow me mention my tribe anywhere ![]() Na that same DNA you carry dey make yeye noise
|
Softmirror:Exactly, the people in government know how dangerous we can be, they know we pose a great threat and they know we won't bend or bow to no man. |
Softmirror:Go to every south African forum and see the disgrace and shame your people have brought. The stench will last for 600 years. |
chiagozien:No be who fit buy data go comment? The only ones commenting are the paid data boys with a clear mandate to be brutally senseless ![]() |
chiagozien:...and Peter Obi is learning his lessons ![]() |
Ballmer:See this one, it's like you are not even living in the currenty reality. It's delusional for you to think you have the monopoly of whatever is making feel you can threaten anyone. We and our children will not make the same mistakes our grandparents made by ever trusting you people again. |
Brahamimo:There's absolutely no logical reason why Nigerians should be going through severe hunger and starvation with the abundant resources in the country. Sadly, there are millions of families who are going through the same predicament like you. Nigeria has never had it this bad |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq1Y4xEJEDo?si=MlWRJFlqZGtx8RYH A video circulating on social media has sparked outrage after hungry Nigerians mobbed a luxury bus carrying Mamelodi Sundowns football players and staff of South Africa. The footage shows the South African team tossing leftover food to the desperate crowd. The drama unfolded at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State as Mamelodi Sundowns exited the venue after a resounding 5–1 victory over Remo Stars of Abeokuta in the first leg of the CAF Champions League on Sunday. Many social media users attributed the incident to the country’s widespread hunger crisis.

Morenikeji090:Exactly, Our eyes don see Shege for una hand. You no see how Igbo people full street dey cry everywhere? |
Hope other state governments are taking notes. I've been following this case for sometime now and it's a good thing the Lagos State Government has finally showed it's true colours. Imagine detaining 80 year old grandpas in police custody for over a month and dragging them to the state high court over illegal assembly in 2025 ![]() |
